jidamsel43:The number of deaths of public service holders from sickness of natural causes have not been this bad. Since there is a global pandemic that has claimed over 500,000 lives, it is logical to believe that most of the deaths are from COVID-19. A lot of common men have died from it not only politicians. Our low testing capacity has not helped matters. Many people are still living in denial. When a poor man dies, they say its malaria. |
The words of Yahaya Bello, King of Kogi. Woe to you O land, when thy king is a child. |
We are only the giant in terms of population |
He was busy donating the virus to all his supporters yesterday who were so close to him while he was sneezing. Some even touched his hands that he sneezed into. O thous governor, you are a generous giver. |
All those his supporters surrounding him when he was sneezing yesterday are most likely to be infected. By now those supporters will have transmitted to others. The vicious cycle continues. |
jidamsel43:Covid19 caused the irreparable damage before he became negative. |
The energy politicians dissipate in fighting one another could be better utilised in improving the quality of life of Nigerians. . |
I'm just wondering what is really happening to our educational system. It's a shame!!! [uote author=gurunlocker post=90943317]What's a "reach man?"
|
Lovely. Nigerians are gifted. Northwestern is a beautiful place. I was there this time last year. |
I'm just wondering how many weddings the Apostles in the new testament moderated. None is recorded in scripture. While I have no problems with church wedding as I did one, Reno is right on this one. doitforyou: |
He shouldn't have fallen to the temptation of quickly releasing the news. Or better still use some vague terms in case its not true. Perhaps when he may just be sustained by oxygen quote author=12345baba post=90826748]Aledeh wan use fake news kill him career wey never start
|
The same Cross River that claims not to have a single case. Why do we like deceiving ourselves as a people? |
Its not everyone that has underlying condition that ever smoked or consumed alcohol. Family history, age, BMI etc are other factors. Be guided uote author=wink2015 post=90773489]These guys dying of coronavirus probably have other medical complication from excessive smoking, drinking, eating problems etc When Coronavirus hit them they can just help but to give up. RIP
|
RIP and condolences to the family and loved ones. This myth about leap year seems real |
You can visit the isolation centres and hospitals to see things for yourselves. The results may not be 100% accurate but a fair reflection of confirmed cases based on our limited testing capacity and the general inefficiencies in our healthcare system. Its better to believe the disease exists and take safety measures than to live carelessly and get infected. Not every infected person is lucky. Majority of those discharged are those with mild cases. [[s]font=Lucida Sans Unicode][ quote author=emeernest post=90182255]But why can't NCDC show videos (& if possible interviews) of the sick patients in isolation centers even if their faces are blurred?
[/s] |
Please save your money and don't bother going to University. If you think education is a waste of time and resources please try ignorance. The difference is clear |
We thank God and hope everything gets back to normal very soon. There's also a possibility a variant of the virus has a longer incubation period in Africa. Just thinking aloud. Post=90105117]THESE FIGURES IN LAGOS SHA . ..... mind boggling I am particular glad that this Corona virus in Africa did not turn out to what doom Sayers predicted it to be. Nigerians are just catching Cruz even in the midst of the virus. ( Nigerians has been Settling Matter since yesterday). After all we Connor coman goan Kill ourselves. Naija too sweet abeg... BABA GOD NOR SHAME US LAS LAS
|
Diagnostic tests are not always 100 accurate. Her case could be considered 'false positive'. That does nor mean Covid19 is a scam in Nigeria. There is no form of testing that has 100% accuracy. |
The mandate of Universities is knowledge generation, and research. Industries can partner with them to mass produce and commercialise the products from Universities and Research Institutes. quote author=tony5 post=89626024]Chai, One Ventilator And We Dey Boost, No Mass Production Yet. That Shows How Retarded Nigeria Leadership Is. Why Can't They Combine Strength To Build More Of This Things. Of What Good Is This If Covid 19 Cases Keep Increasing. What I Desire To See In The Fp Is "nigeria Have Started Producing Ventilators Or Nigeria Have Start Producing A Reliable Test Kits" But All We See Is Nonsense. I Pray All Of You Shouting Proudly Unilag, Abu Won't Fall Victim Of The Virus Because The Ventilator Won't Serve More Than One Person Incase You Don't Know Or You Forgot
|
Ventilator is not a cure for covid19 but it is used to sustain breathing in patients suffering from respiratory distress caused by several health conditions one of which is covid19. Several lives have been lost in most of our hospitals due to lack of ventilators. Industries can partner with universities to move this beyond prototype as universities do not have production lines for mass production. quote author=Demmtek post=89624993]Been thinking since is ventilator a Cure to Covid 19 wondering why it's so important, from my research 70% of those covid patients aren't using it. So why the noise.
|
Covid19 is real. We have less than 5,000 confirmed cases which is very insignificant to our entire population. Simple mathematics: 5000/180,000,000 ×100 = 0.0028%. This possibly a small percentage of the population. That's possibly why you may not know anyone that is affected. But if the spread is left unchecked we may record a spike in cases which force doubters to believe but it may be too late for most of them. quote author=Wiifesnatcher post=89427258]Wiseandtrue you're too observant even though there is covid-19 in Nigeria but we don't have cases that much neither do we have death toll as it was posted online people that were massacred like goat was shown but Covid-19 that had been covered were not shown before burying them this is why I don't support their scamdemic lockdown
|
There were reported cases of COVID-19 deaths in Kogi. That is the simple reason NCDC officials were sent. The lives lost are citizens of this nation. There is no need for the governor to live in denial and play politics with human lives. No award will be given to any state for COVID-19 free status. It still beats my imagination that people still don't believe that COVID-19 is in the country. uote author=Wiseandtrue post=89422931] b]I mean what's wrong with this government ![]() They claimed that they don't have sufficient test kits to resolve the Kano crises then here you are forcing another state who has not reported any casualty to undergo a compulsory test With which equipment The ones that are not enough
|
You are very correct. Patient consent is necessary before displaying their health status. Nigerians hardly disclose their underlying health conditions to family and friends because of stigmatisation. I groan at the level of ignorance displayed by many people on this platform. Until Covid-19 death touches them directly or their family members, they won't believe it exists. gretblue: |
Test kits and reagents exhausted in some centres. That's the simple reason. quote author=2gbasky22 post=89233264]Confirmed cases is reduced today and discharged increased . We're getting there
|
Deaths from Covid-19 is highly under-reported. Close to 500 people have died from this disease in Nigeria. They should stop calling it strange illness. |
U mean he wore pampers? I can't believe it |
Funke, please come and clean our gutter. Its dirty. ![]() |
Meaning sorrow!!! Just like Jabez |
Seriously serious!!!! I always know the official number of confirmed cases is far lower than the actual figures. |
Are you sure the deputy Governor too is not infected. He must have had contact with his boss before now sdindan: |
