zebudaya:

condoms arent fool proof either, they break sometimes or slip off. The Pill is 92-99.7% effective as birth control.good enough A+ grin
Oh wasn't saying either/or. . .but me thinks if you are old enough for sex you are old enough to use both. If it's too expensive then you can't afford sex.

But while we're on the either/or debate. Birth control is only anti-babies. What about (asymptomatic) STDs? undecided

zebudaya:

Thats where birth control pills come in.
Birth control isn't fool proof, esp if she's taking antibiotics. Just wanted to throw that out there. Be safe folks.

Seun as you've obviously never read a book that won the Nobel Peace Prize I will cease to address you on this subject.

Who's pretending?

A crush isn't sex. Sex isn't a "crush".

Seun:

If you win a Nobel prize and the average Nigerian can't see the beauty in your work, you've failed in my book.
If you win The Nobel prize and the average American can't see the beauty in your work, what then?

Seun you're an unabashed capitalist -- fine. But if you don't know anything about art, leave it for the artists.

They don't lecture you about money, or do they?

what if the child say s/he doesnt want any new baby disrupting the "family system like that" grin "mummy i don't want a new baby again take it away shocked
hey mummy u better tell daddy to use a condom or else ; angry
Completely different issue. Polygamy & marriage are adult issues. A child, while affected, doesn't have decision making power in (over) these adult relationships. We are discussing adult decisions and how they affect adult relationships. What is your own opinion?

Ndipe:

And this trend persists in today's world. I heard of a lady, impressed by the work of her maid, encouraged her husband to marry her, which he did. (Sorry, don't want to delve into it)
*eye roll* Did the "maid" work in the prone position?

Ndipe:
It isnt fiction since it is in the Holy Bible that Sarah actually gave her handmaid, Hagar to her husband, Abraham, so that he would procreate his genealogy.
The Bible was written by men, not women & not God. I don't believe this story as it's represented. How can an individual be justly "given" to another like a piece of property? If Abraham lay w/ Hagar it was his own jt, not Sarah's.
