Romance / Re: Why Are Nigerian Men Attracted To Carribbean Women? by chinani(f): 4:50am On Sep 04, 2006 |
Since you take special exception to something I wrote months ago could you post a link so I can reread it? Sista:The implication? As in the one & only implication? As in the only way the comment can be read?. . .Or your assumption? I stated, restated & clarified my opinion. What's the problem now? You sound like you're spoilin to quarrel with me. Why? I do not know. Sista:I know I'm 22. Unfortunately I have no control over this, but don't mistake 22 for "young dumb & full of " & don't think b/c you read my posts that you know anything about my mother's tits jare. Ok? Now if you want to make a point you needn't patronize me. You can just make the point. I am careful with what I say but "thank you" for the added encouragement. Perhaps you should be careful about the conclusions you jump to. |

I thought the Chinese weren't too keen on black ppl. (An Asian friend told me.) Am I wrong? |
Romance / Re: Why Are Nigerian Men Attracted To Carribbean Women? by chinani(f): 3:26am On Sep 04, 2006 |
@Sista You asked me the same question on another thread. I tried to clarify. Again I will say that I do not think that all anyone -- man or woman, white, black, undecided -- are good or bad. Fullstop. Hope this stops the confusion. |
Crime / Re: Why The Stigmatization Of Rape Victims? by chinani(f): 6:33am On Sep 03, 2006 |
I agree with you; they should not be stigmatized. I want to rally for the cause but where is the rally? I can't think of a solution to this except using word-of-mouth to change ppl's minds. |

@T_G Well first hand accounts count for something but you can't pass them off as your own. I hear American men (Afam, white, etc.) say they go to "the islands" & have sex w/ a bunch of girls & leave. The implication being that Carribbean women are "easy" and/or hypersexual. The concept is especially believed in the Afr.Amer. community w/ music videos held up as "proof" but I don't pass these notions off as fact. |

@T_G OIC. Well I think if you're an open person or try to keep an open mind with people in your day-to-day life -- even with reservations -- you'll find nice Nigerian men to be friends with. Your Ghanian bf might have some Nigerian friends already. |

Trini_girl, I apologize for calling you dumb. That was unnecessary. No, I am not trying to defend abusive & mean-spirited men, but I do think that your posts are out of line. What I should have asked is, How can you have an opinion about a relationship that you've never been in? I do not have an opinion about being w/ Caribbean men though I've been told horror stories. And did you not insult me first? You've said just as many horrible things about Nigerian women in your last 3 posts as men. We "grovel", are uneducated, are not "nice people", and on & on. I should have responded more maturely, but I think you should post more maturely as well. My 20 kobo. |

Brothers & Sisters, please ignore Trini_dumby, she's in a desperate search for attention. If you respond she'll never make it to mental hospital. Please, be cruel to be kind. trini_girl: trini_girl:So you've never dated a Nigerian man but you know all about them? Can you spell S-T-E-R-E-O-T-Y-P-E? Sound it out. . .How about B-I-T-C. . . |
