They love to shift blame and always fail to realise that they are part of the problem.

Every adult man or woman is a leader in their own right by the way. All fathers and mothers are examples of leaders, so if you raise kids you can not feed, you are corrupt and selfish.

Releasing him will be a shame on the legal and judiciary system. It is also alleged that he was arrested earlier in 2006 as a member of a robbery gang based on identification by a former police chief and gunshot mark at his chest , BUT was released in guise of case transfer to become a hardened criminal who killed more people.

If by 2038 when he is approaching 70yrs and we are having this sort of plea bargain, we may reason it not barely 7 years from when he was arrested. In 2022, when the prosecuting judge gave him the verdict, the judge mentioned he did not show remorse but kept lying despite video evidence.

I don't know how old he was then but that evil man was no young man consumed by crime as his lawyer would have us believe. The man set a terrible precedence for kidnapping of regular hardworking people with the 'kidnapper billionaire' name becoming a fancy title for criminals. He killed others in his kidnapping business and at least needs to spend considerable time in prison, at least 20 years before reviewing eligibility for parole. interest rates are typically increased to reduce inflation. When the inflation rate starts reducing to a defined and acceptable threshold , usually 1-3%, then the interest rate will be reduced still considering some other economic factors like shrink in economy , job losses e.t.c.
The whole of 2022 and 2023 when there was record high inflation of 30-40 years old in Canada and USA, interest rates were increased severally to combat the inflation. Inflation is now trending downwards, it is on that basis, interest rates are reduced.

Nigerias case and what triggered inflation in my opinion is predominantly govt. Printing a lof of excess money, which triggered "Artificial"inflation. So a typical solution may not completely work.

To explain in a very lay mans path to understand: Inflation is too much money chasing few goods and services. As such govt tries to stiffle spending of populace by raising interest rates
