Are you implying he was declared winner by INEC with less than 244,000+ votes? If yes, that is not true. He was declared winner with well over 300,000+ votes.

If the error in numerical reporting by the "journalist(s)" was intentional, then it is a ploy to misinform the public and create commotion. To a less informed person and not circumvent enough, the summary of this reporting is that APC had 244,000+ votes and PDP had 310,000 + votes .

Many sad precedences aftermath election decision at the supreme court started with favoring opposition party PDP and Nigerians as usual decide to turn a blind eye when it favors them and scream blue murder when it does not later favor them.

Card reader bypassed in 2015 election was almost made useless after it favored Wike from PDP aftermath 2015 Rivers governorship election supreme court decision. Wike alone had over 1 million votes , but card reader accounted for only about 300,000 votes.

Supreme court decision to remove a sitting governor and give his mandate to PDP who barely had 10% of peoples vote started with Zamfara state PDP governorship candidate benefitting from such "lousy supreme court decision". If you ask many Nigerians more aligned with PDP they will be quick to point out Imo state APC governor as the first beneficiary. There have been other lousy supreme court decisions like sacking an APC governorship candidate with the mandate of the Bayelsa people because his deputy governorship candidate was disqualified and the mandate given to PDP. I was not happy to hear that someone who came 3rd or even 4th in an election was declared governor in Imo state based on supreme court decision irrespective of me being more aligned to the APC party.

From what i have even experienced in the last 21 years of election , i can say it without any doubt APC still rigs with a bit of human face than what PDP did as incumbent at the centre. who knows if APC may become worse as the years go by and i hope they don't become too powerful that it becomes almost impossible for the party to lose at the centre in an election.

I advocate that our electioneering process should get more transparent and supreme court need to make logical and sensible decisions , and if there are loopholes in the electoral act, the national assembly should amend such loopholes in the electoral act

I believe the precedence was set in the Osun state 2022 governorship election and not 2023 presidential election as you claimed.

Don't deceive yourself. Let me humour your logic, If NA allocation is 0, and the two assemblies completely scrapped. The 344 billion naira is then shared across 36 states, many states can't still pay minimum wage. It translates to less than 10 billion naira per state in a year.

The issues are deeper than trivialising it on salaries of legislators, it is a little bit part of the issue though. Nigeria has an annual budget of over 20 trillion naira.
