GEJ admin 2010-2015. What year did Amaechi took FG to court? Is diversificaton of economy just about saving excess crude money. Was there transparency about the administration of the excess crude account, taking cognisance , it is not just FG property ? What loopholes were plugged? What dramatic increase in revenue did the country witness in top revenue making agencies (FIRS,NPA, customs, immigration,...) Was the NNPC not just accused by AKpabio, a PDP man of remitting zilch over 7 months ? What happened to refineries that could have whined Nigeria of paying hundreds of billions annually to Oil importers? Where we not promised at least 3 greenfield refineries in jan 2012 in attempt to remove fuel subsidy? Why was the TSA not implemented ? As the co-ordinating minister of economy, she failed.

I am really interested in a drastic increase in revenue generation !.

I want to see reforms in FIRS TOO. Revenue must increase. Nigeria must pool out funds to finance the nation in uncommon ways, the fall in oil price will last for a while, and it is a blessing disguising as disappointment in the Buhari administration.

The honeymoon period should be over, by the end of November, all ministers would have settled down, and acclimatised with their ministries. The 2016 budget is critical, the next 3 years must be revolutionary.

The total oil receipts of gej from 2010-2015 surpasssed considerably that of obj from 99-07. In 1999, when obj came in a barrel of oil was around 12usd/barrel, the peak price during obj regime was roughly 75usd/barrel in mid 2006. YET, OBJ SAVED CONSIDERABLY for the yaradua regime.

GEJ regime had long periods of over 100usd/barrel

I did not say she had a clean slate (she did not anyway), but some things were beyond her. You think she really had her way with handling that money? With all the politics in this country, it would have been hard to do anything reasonable ( that's why I mentioned Obasanjo's era as well). She did not diversify the economy for over 5 years as the coordinating minister of economy in the midst of surplus, Crude oil was average of 100usd/barrel, it made 140-150usd /barrel at some point.

It is on record that the FG borrowed to pay April salaries for FG workers. She also told Nigerians to get ready for hard times in 2015.

In summary, she failed the nation.

Senator Abdulrahman Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost his senatorial seat to Attai Aidoko of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The Kogi State Elections Petition Tribunal handling petitions in the State ruled that Senator Abubakar cedes his seat to Aidoko. The Petition Tribunal stated that Aidoo is the legitimate winner of the April 11 the legislative election in the State.
