sooperrescue: How many poor people go for test tube babies? Do you think the rich do not indulge in sex? Is it a poor man that is a sugar daddy? It is beyond Charlie boy's comprehension and all those abusing the poor do not understand that God rules in the affairs of men. How can someone who is wealthy enough to raise 100 children only struggle to have one child and will be warned of the consequences of having another child. Do you all think that they built a 7 bedroom mansion for just one kid? Have u not also wondered about their vain thoughts of going abroad to have their child while the poor spend just a few thousands to deliver their children and the next day are already up and doing while the so called rich wife is still under observation three weeks after delivery. Fear God and keep his commandments and your quiver shall be full of them. Anytime , these things are discussed an average black man start discussing God and sptrituality Children are Gods heritage, it is raw wickedness to have 2 kids you are struggling to take care of, and then begin to load wife everyone and now then till a soccer team is birth, i shudder in pain when i see what parents make kids go through in the guise of being poor. Poor People can have sex all day all night with family planning technique in place and there wont be unwanted conception |

blizard44: If you must know, Charly, they are investments.
Where you couldn't succeed, one in ten of your children can. 1 in 10, and then there are 9 nuisances Govt needs to handle this issue with a carrot and stick approach, it should make family planning free , and easily accessible via primary health centres. Massive enlightenment programmes targeted at mothers primarily and fathers via mass media. God will never come down to take care of children for any one. Irresponsible parent should be sanctioned and made to lose certain priviledges. No parent should throw up his/her child/children on the streets to hawk commercial goods. It is wickedness to give birth what you clearly cant take care of. If you as a poor man have 2 offsprings, and you take care of the 2 with your meagre income, there is a greater chance the 2 will succeed than giving birth to dozen in to excruciating poverty and thinking like an animal. |

kenny987: I do not object to all what u have said but my point is priority! At this critical time in the economy, censoring porn access on the internet should be way down the bottom of the list. In fact, it is a frivolity we cannot afford at this time. They cannot even address the political in-house bickering they have been serenading the Nigerian public with and someone reaches all the way to porn?! Come on! trust me if you look at it from that rigid perspective, there will never be a good enough time to address such, we wont say because of critical time in our economy, the house should not debate about sports, entertainment industry e.t.c but simply economy, economy, economy..... , dont forget there are different committees in the house. |
Politics › Re: Calls For Censorship Is On Pornographic Content On Social Media – House Of Reps by chinchum(m): 12:13am On Nov 12, 2015 |
kenny987: Rape and abuse of minors did not start today. When did Nigeria start having access to the internet? It is a malaise that should be addressed through the criminal justice system with good punitive and corrective measures in place. The dire straits in which Nigeria finds herself today is not caused by access to porn. People are hungry and need to prosper! The humongous sums they commandeer as sitting allowances and whatnot cannot be frittered away on such inconsequential matters in the general scheme of things. There is something called priority! rape and abuse did not start today, my first response made reference to a noticeable upsurge in rape cases in very recent times. The legislature and judiciary work hand in hand. One makes the law, the other gives interpretation. Life or situations are not black or white, there are shades of grey porn access with no control whatsover is dangerous , if not checked, in no time, we will be dealing with bestiality, homosexuality, rape, incest, in frightening proportions |

Porn has nothing to do with it and that is the prerogative of a personal individual. It is certainly not what taxpayers and citizens expect them to deliberate upon. Something formed the base and warped desires !, What could that be ? let that be your food for thought. N.B What goes in to our mind comes out as actions. |

speedyGonzales: leave social media alone and focus on real world problems facing Nigerians! That is also a real world problem, i opine that an upsurge in rape cases including underage kids can be largely attributed to increased access to porn materials on blogs/sites. |

@ op, be realistic, cut the first class chase, chase 2-1 instead., and by the way law places less premium on grades compared to many other courses , instead focus and work more on your sagacity, confidence level, public speaking, networking with highly connected individuals, join groups like JCI , rotaract, e.t.c. they will be more beneficial after graduation. Trust me. If i wanted to deceive you, i will tell you first class is still very possible, meanwhile it is only possible on mathematical calculations on paper. I am an Engineer, but i know Law lectures hardly dash out 5's for mostly 4 unit courses. |

Now they have won and someone takes the glory and no one is pushing it to GEJ! How sad. My point is lets us stop fixing the blame and start fixing the problem. FoodVendors: Then where are the indices of CHANGE? the change is not an on/off switch button, it is a process, everyone must key in to the change. I believe the process is ongoing, this is a trying period for the current govt, and Nigerians, if the previous govt had diversified the economy when the going was good(high oil prices), there would have been a better shock absorber. Over reliance of oil was going to hit every sector of the economy hard once the price crashes. The op is mischievious or possibly stupid to be posting those links to pass a message to un-discerning, from my cursory study of the links posted, what does profit drop for half year results of companies (Jan 2015 -June 2015) really has to do with the current govt? |

OP, why art thou choosen to be so foolish and ridiculous ?
Declining oil prices and free fall of naira in exchange rate in 2014 affected all those compan1es. Your hero GEJ left a usd for 232 naira at the end of may 2015 in the parallel market. Virtually all the results you posted were not even under the Buhari regime. |
Family › Re: How To Deal With A Terrible Maid? by chinchum(m): 10:07pm On Nov 09, 2015 |
ima30: Hello. I have been with my guy for five years now. We are getting married next year. The thing is we are going to live in his family house, with his extended family. I didn't like the idea but I found a way to accept it seeing as its quite comfy and it means we won't have to worry about rent. Its basically a two bedroom apartment. The only thing I share with the rest of the family is back yard and staircase. He said we would do three years while he is building his own house.
His elder brother who is married lives in that same building. It's the maid THEY hired this year to take care of their sick dad, that worries me. The mom is late. She is very disrespectful to me. So many things happen and when he speaks to her about it, she won't bulge. All because it was the elder brother that interviewed her so she doesn't listen to almost anyone else. I spoke to my guy that I would not live with a maid that has not greeted me for almost a year or has no regard for my home or wouldn't obey him. He said he can't tell her to go because she is close to his brother's wife and she takes care of his dad.
This may sound petty but it's serious. All this family house wahala, if I tell him to rent a house he would say I'm not appreciating all his efforts to make sure we marry next year. I did laundry the other day came back and met the clothes soaked on the clothing line with all the rain that fell, meanwhile she brought in every other persons cloth inside. It might not be a big deal, but I don't want to resent any body I live with in my future home.
I need that maid gone, how do I get rid of her? The worst part is that since they all live together, he needs his brother's approval before he does almost anything, if I complain it would seem as if I wanna cause friction between both brothers. But there has been cases where changes were made by his brother and my guy wasn't even consulted. The maid before her was paid by my guy for two years straight, she didn't insult anybody. She left cuz his brother told him to sack her. That their father needed better attention and she wasn't a good cook. Na so my guy sack the girl. No question. They brought this one now and my guy paid for some month's and stopped because she was rude to him and me. His bro has been paying since. But my guy still pays nepa bills and those other things to run the house. Yet when he talks to this maid she won't listen.
How do I get her go? I don't like her one bit. She just basically work for the brother and his wife. I can't even send he to buy me matches. She calls me by name, would not greet. My guy told her to stop all these things, she still didn't listen. Please. Imagine she is non existent |
