They no de wear coat do farming. Agriculture should not be the business of CBN. Nigeria here sounds like a country that like using tailors to fix vehicle engines. Talk about mediocrity to the fullest. Aaah skelewu skelewu skelewu.

The response should be for the people they are targeting to push into unemployment should also arise and fight for their lives. I guess by the time some of these tyrants are adversely hit, others will take a cue. Anyone mandating poison on another should also be ready to receive his or hers. It for tat.

Miscreants who accidentally get power should realize that only the rule of law legitimizes actions and especially that of government. Efcc should do the needful by rightfully challenging the nearly two decade perpetual injunction gotten by the Rivers state government barring prosecution of their governors.

Nigerialabalaba:

Na wa for you chinedu. U think say na ONLY your company dey abi you tink say nbs na play play centre. Chinedu, get beta statistics and economics textbooks, go read . Dey call am basket and random sampling.

If una company don dey in operation for over 20 years and e neva die, u no sabi say dat means una dey do well abi u don see company wey go dey go for even 5-10years without profit and go remain in business? Shah no use ur hatred for Buhari and negative mindset kill dat company

The question Mr nigeria is if you know exactly how the samples are collected. Are you employed in an organization that has been sampled or do you know any other sample organization? Secondly are you convinced of the present data and pronouncements from the NBS? Political leanings has nothing to do with this. And if you are still employed then you are still one of the very few lucky ones and probably need to pray fervently for the survival of your business.
Business / Nigeria Bureau Of Statistics Data by chinedu234(m): 3:15pm On Oct 17, 2021
I may not be an economy expert but I have worked in the nigeria manufacturing sector for over twenty five years now. We are among the few surviving establishments today no thanks to the horrible economic climate in the country. One can not even predict how long the present grace will take us to. However what I have found confounding is that up until the year 2010, I remember filling NBS forms brought to our office requesting for our business performance. Since then we have not seen that data form anymore. Therefore, I wonder when the media reveal various statistics from the NBS on Nigeria's economy. Where do they get their data from presently? Is there anyone on the forum here that can attest to how they do their study now?

It's not surprising that these jobless halfbaked finance theorists will be masturbating on this idea as what will take them to their heaven. This is what happens when some quota system produced quacks are allowed to preside over affairs of society. The solace is that fools eventually come to their folly.

Politics / Re: The Amount Paid To Agberos In Lagos Daily & Annually by chinedu234(m): 3:58pm On Jul 23, 2021
seunmsg:
So, when are you guys doing an analysis of the amount paid to Agberos in Enugu, Abia, Rivers, Anambra, Kano, Abuja etc? Abi NURTW only exist in Lagos?

Analysis like this would make a lot of sense if it was done all over the country or at least in some selected states so that we can do a comparative analysis. So, why single out Lagos state?

Btw, NURTW is a trade Union. Trade Unions and professional bodies charge their members huge sums annually. As a member of ICAN, I pay 30k to the institute as annual subscription. I still pay for conference, AGM and faculty due without complaining. So, are members of NURTW complaining? Who forced them to be members of the union?

I wonder where this comment is coming from and the intention. Is it not common knowledge that research is done in bits and samples? Why don't YOU do your our research in the other cities mentioned for a comparative analysis? 2. Is it not common knowledge that every commercial transporter is forced under horrendous intimidation to belong to the agbero hoisted unions? 3. Why will you compare a professional body like ICAN to a body like nurtw whose biggest achievement is registration under NLC? You applied to ICAN. Which driver applied to the agbero unions? One may rightly understand that you are part of the brigandage and Lagos style of banditry in the name of nurtw.

Religion / Death Of Sound Sultan: My Impacts. by chinedu234(m): 10:24am On Jul 13, 2021
I remember this young man now late from my early years in Lagos. His artistic interpretation and redefinition of the mathematical tool BODMAS. His beautiful rendition of motherland and especially the line that urges you not to forget area. I always admired this young man from my distance seeing his attitude and carriage as an example of modesty and humility. Now since the unfortunate death of Sound Sultan last Sunday, there has been this unanimity of opinion confirming my earlier stated perception. How come that everyone feels the same about Sound Sultan? Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Efik, Ijaw, Christians, Moslems. The views seemed same amongst his colleagues in the music industry as well as other professionals. Even the presidency of Nigeria issued a statement mourning him. I'm not aware that this young man went about sharing money neither was he a politician. He simply played music to soothe our souls and most importantly lived with utmost decorum that impacted, influenced and still to further influence our society. I have come to make more meaning of the injunction to be mindful of your death day. This is the day that all your works will become who you will be remembered for. And who knows: that may actually be the so much talked about God's judgement. And this consoles me to believe that Sound Sultan has found favour and is seated at the right hand of the father in Heaven. My major impact from all this is that I will work henceforth to make my death day like that of Sound Sultan. There was no media bill to force the masses to perceive his activities in a certain way. He did not carry out a coup. He did not go to celebrate birthdays in Dubai. He was not known to be a tribalist. He only diligently did his work. To myself and other people especially Nigerians still alive I urge you to understand what Myles Munroe said that character is personal but not private.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Why not go and make a complaint at the nearest police station

I only responded to the remark on "rule of law and Olanipekun"

That is the point of engagement.
I am not Adeosun's lawyer or relative

You said big shame on Olanipekun WHY, WHAT FOR? He went to court and got a judgment. THAT is the rule of law in action. Why should he be ashamed of that?

That same judgement will haunt him and the others in no distant time. Life is not permanent neither is position.

Getting a judgment in court is against the "rule of law"?
I think you are conflating rule of law with morality
.

The case of adeosun is that of nysc certificate forgery and not a matter of being qualified to hold office without nysc. There are bright human beings existing in this contraption for God's sake. Why did the police not take up her criminal matter expeditiously?

A very big shame to olanipekun and his likes. This is the same man that pretended to be on the side of rule of law when the legitimate CJN was removed in an executive coup d'etat just to turn around and defend a man without certificate. Nemesis will certainly catch up with such men of no conscience.

Crime / Does Nigeria Want To End Kidnapping by chinedu234(m): 9:10pm On Jun 21, 2021
It has become of tremendous concern how the so called bandits have become a security challenge without solution in Nigeria. Is it possible that this meets with the highly quoted statement that any insecurity that goes beyond two weeks is state sponsored? This suspicion is reasonable going by the perceived influx of a certain foreign people who specialize in 'okada' riding everywhere in Nigeria. There is also an allusion that the present head of government shares affinity with these people. However the crux of the matter is that most if not all the celebrated kidnapping cases today especially in the northern Nigeria are effectively carried out with okada. Therefore, it is a bit baffling that our security institutions and intelligentsia have not thought of or recommended a total ban on use of okada in Nigeria. This I think if implemented for a year will drop and possibly end the present blossoming kidnapping business. It will be interesting to know what naira landers think.

This post was on Nairaland and seemed highly ignored. The chicken is gradually coming home to roost.

Religion / Noise Pollution In Lagos State by chinedu234(m): 6:30pm On Jun 17, 2021
It is a wonder that despite the pretentious preaching of some so called houses of God, their actions are filled with illegality, hate and dirt. How is it that a so called house of worship is a place for terrible noise pollution? How come a house of God is a dump yard where refuse is a normal sight and burnt further polluting the environment? How can a house of God be an illegal construction devoid of proper plan and approval? Is it really baffling that the country is so laden with corruption, criminality and filth with such behaviours from men of the house of God. This is a typical description of the lord chosen church in Baruwa Ipaja. Lagos state should endeavour to check such terrible nuisance.
