I am back. You people are enjoying ooo. I went to both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Very well developed, these Arabs know how to use their petrodollar.

The only problem is, things are a bit expensive than in Saudi Arabia. I spent so much on transportation and food. And one wonders how because their currencies are equal,or maybe Emiratis are not subsidises??
And it seems like you people pay so much on accommodation.

The upside is people seem much happier than in Saudi grin grin
Few pics that I took.

Exposure is key! In the UK, there are supermarkets/Malls in every locality. But in Nigeria, it is a once in a life time experience for some.

Mehnnn. We still have a long way to go to catchup with the west.

Wonderful cheesy
As if you own any of that.

Smdh. If you are exposed don't be mean to other people.

Will be on vacation in Abu Dhabi, leaving tomorrow till next week Wednesday. I can't wait to leave the shores of Saudi Arabia. This place can be a pain.

The only thing I have been thinking about is my hotel room which I requested that it should have a balcony that is overlooking the sea. I am so excited. I can't even sleep.tongue tongue tongue

DrObi:
Hence you are a Psychologist you are bound on counseling my dear. you might try Industrial Psychology thou you wil work as HR but you still need to ......
I worked as an HR Practitioner for some years, doing recruitment. But my job did not allow me to administer test batteries because I was not a Registered Psychometrist. Yes I was working with Intern Psychologists and Psychologists. I realised that I enjoyed recruitment and selection and I also enjoyed the psychology contact if it but majority of the companies don't allow a Psychologist to administer and also do recruitment, they separate it. Psychologists administer batteries and then hand over to recruiters a report about candidates. I also did Training and development, boy I thoroughly enjoyed it. That being said I enjoyed all the aspects of the jobs, but I was not fulfilled.

Again I worked as a Counsellor for an NGO, I found the job to be interesting, but I hated counselling helpless woman. Again I didn't feel fulfilled.

That is when I decided in future for my Masters I will either go for Educational Psychology, or Clinical Psychology as a second choice.

Industrial Psychology, I didn't like Organisational development and change management. But I liked Recruitment and Selection. Though I was good in all. My performance management report was always 4/5 or 5/5

Now you see what I mean when I say I am not in a hurry. Making a choice is very hard for me.

I saw it on food network. It doesn't say anything about being Cantonese.

I used 2pounds chicken breasts.
Cut into little pieces and marinate in your favorite marinade for 10-16hrs in your refrigerator. I blended ginger, onions, Maggi, salt and pepper into the marinade. I just left it over night.
When you're ready to cook, pick them out of the marinade and deep fry until well cooked and brown on the outside. It should be crisp.

Mix a spoonful of honey, 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce, 1/4cup vinegar,and1spoonful brown sugar dissolved in a little water. Heat all in a sauce pan and allow to boil until it starts getting a little thick. I added a teaspoonful of flour to help the thickening process (I can be impatient sometimes when cooking cheesy)

Then stir in your fried chicken until each piece is thoroughly covered. Lower the heat and leave for another 3mins. You can leave for longer if you want it really sticky.

Ready to serve.
Thanks so much wink

I quite understood u dear, I was not up to ten before I started caring for my younger ones. mum can go to market leaving us in d house, and most kpako ten yrs can even birth a baby. am referring to, if d ten yrs was ur daughter, can't she run little errand for u? n play or stay with ur two yrs wen u go out??. if we see these maids as our kids, our reasoning will be different.
Yes I will be very cautious to leave my kids of the opposite gender. I once did my practicals in one childrens organisation. You will be suprised at the number of molestation ( minor - minor ) that is happening out there. As well as sibling to sibling molestation, where parents are so shameful to even talk about it. Some cases are discovered by the school teachers and were referred to us by the schools, but the parents will deny that anything of that sort could happen under their roof. Talkless of father to daughter. These days its better to be safe than sorry. Incest is on the high. So no, I will not joke with my kids especially girl kids. I will only miss, where I have no control over. smiley smiley
