Romance / Re: Why Guys Should Stop Complaining About Ladies Going After Readymade Men by Chinwem(f): 11:53pm On Sep 23, 2015
Teempakguy:
I have to add something.

I still don't understand why guys are allowed to go after pretty and curvaceous girls in peace, while girls are criticized for going after rich men. It's basically the same.

And as if that is not enough, they criticize ladies that go after

1. Looks.
2. Intelligence.
3. Fame.

In short, if they had their way, they would want every lady to date, poor, ugly, dumb guys . . . just because . . .

I know how much cream costs, powder, lipstick, clothes, I've often been forced to go shopping with these girls, and I have been shocked at how expensive it is to be beautiful. Yet, men go after them . . . with nothing. How do you expect her to keep up the ruse?

But wait, you expect her to use her money, right? But then, why would a lady that is rich enough to take care of herself, settle for a poor dude? Love isn't THAT blind. And the worst part, this doesn't stop with money alone, if a lady says she would love to marry a handsome man, guys will quote her and insult her. Saying that she will have to settle for anybody when her time runs out.
If she insists on dating someone with a good command of English, they will criticize her as well. If she says she prefers dating doctors, or a certain flavour of engineers, they will gather around to call her a gold digger of sorts.
If she says she wants a tall man, they will insult, if she says she wants a confident man, they will insult. They will insult if she friendzones. WTF?!!!!!

Guys, this . . . is not that fair oh. . . . we need to give these guys a break and let them choose for themselves. Being broke doesn't make you special. It makes you . . . broke and undesirable to women. I have seen many of you claiming that one day, you will be rich, but in reality, the odds are against you. It is very likely for her to regret staying with you however.

Let the women choose what is best for them without insults and criticism. They have rights too.

That's all.

It might be a pharyngeal pouch .....food collects and ferments there and gives off bad smell through mouth and nose, but you smell through nose so you think it's nose. Might also be your tonsils . A very good ENT doctor can sort you out. Try mouth wash / gargles with hydrogen peroxide. I really wish you well my brother.... Let us know how it goes

esosa4real: @3sha4lyf hey dear pls wanted to ask, what are the precautions I should take at the POE considering am a uk first timer + coming from ebola endemic naija.... + being a health worker.....jux don't wanna be turned back o....lol

Anyone travelled recently? Hope dey r jux simple screening procedures @ d POE and no harrasment?
Also, would they ask me questions about my Visit?
Must I carry same amount of cash stipulated in my form?
My conference is in norwich, but I am entering through manchester and would take a bus down to norwich, hope they won't ask me #yeye questions?
Finally, I breached my booking.com hotel booking and choosed another cheaper hotel, hope they won't findout and ask me stupid questions why so? #thats if they know anyways
Thanks

I came in middle of last month.....I didn't experience any problems thankfully. Also a health worker .........flew from West Africa too. Maybe they use infrared cameras ,like the CCTv ones on the wall to check temp cuz you certainly won't see anybody holding a thermometer to your head.
Safe journey!
(Justwise et al can be of more help with the other questions I m sure....he helped me)

So guys I have a really serious issue and I don't know what to do. I applied on the 3rd and after waiting for over a month for my visa to come out, sheffield finally responded to my numerous mails, informing me that they have no record of me applying for visa. This is after I have submitted my application, paid, done my biometrics and my interview and for submitted my supporting documents and waiting for over a month. I am at loss at what to do because I feel like yelling at someone. I need some advice please. I submitted at vi (unfortunately)

This is so sad
Teleperformance is a dissapointment, needs to be scrapped
Even in Accra they are misbehaving
The online tracking kept showing "bundle awaiting transfer to UKVI for processing" for a whole 3 weeks
Even after I had picked up my passport , the status never changed
Send mail, they don't reply..........call them they won't pick
I contacted the UK immigration international enquiry service who even told me that my application was yet to be assessed by an entry clearance officer
At this point I decided not to give myself high blood pressure and think of other things
However 2 days later I got an email from another entity saying my passport was ready for pickup
Till today the online tracking still shows "bundle awaiting transfer to UKVI"
Which leads me to conclude that they don't know what they re doing

cuteboy2:
It is not a case of healthcare being good or bad. Very few survive, the vast majority do not.

Also, you should have read the post on NL about a top secret vial of untested new drug ZMP being administered on the American patient.

Yes I ve read about the wonder drug
The absence of it in Nigeria shouldn't stop people from giving supportive care
And that is what is lacking
Do you really think they gave adequate fluids
When they are even afraid to touch the patient? Gloves or not
Health / Re: Nigerian Female Doctor Dies Of Ebola by Chinwem(f): 1:12pm On Aug 06, 2014
wordcat: But the American doctor is stil alive. How come this Nigerian doctor died so quickly?

Because on a good day healthcare in Nigeria is not very good
Talkless of when health workers know you have Ebola and will avoid you like the plague
I have a feeling quarantine consists of nothing more than a bed for patient to lie on
I don't know many selfless doctors and nurses in Nigeria

Most of them are breadwinners and I don't see them putting themselves at risk for something that has no cure
I really cannot act surprised anymore
I believe that if the patient had received the basic minimum supportive care like fluids and pain relief
She wouldn't have died
Just look at the time from infection to demise.....so short
She would ve had a chance for her body to develop antibodies

Anyway.......let the exodus begin

YOU HAVE SAID EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED TO SAY ALL THESE WHILE. YOU HAVE HIT THE NAIL DIRECTLY ON THE HEAD. A COUNTRY OF IGNORANT BUT POMPOUS CITIZENS, A COUNTRY WHERE ONE GOODLUCK THAT OBVIOUSLY KNEW NOTHING AND DISPLAYED IT EVEN DURING CAMPAIGN CAN BE PRESIDENT. A COUNTRY WHERE EVERYBODY LIKES TO 'MAINTAIN' SO THAT HIS NEIGHBOR WILL THINK HE IS BETTER THAN HE ACTUALLY IS. A COUNTRY WHERE AN OBVIOUSLY FALSE DOCTRINE WILL TAKE ROOT AND BECOME A GLOBAL ENTERPRISE. A COUNTRY WHERE A CIVIL SERVANT WILL STEAL FROM THE PUBLIC AND YET REFUSE TO LEAVE THE CHURCH OR MOSQUE. A HOPELESS COUNTRY.

WHERE ARE THOSE INSULTING AMERICANS ALL THESE WHILE? WHERE IS ROSSIK OR ONE LAME NAIRALANDER WHO CLAIMS BLACKS ARE MORE INTELLIGENT THAN WHITES? WHERE ARE THEY? SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. WHEN WE USE ALL OUR TIME FOR NAMIMG CEREMONIES, MARRYING THE MOST PRETTY GIRL, TURN THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN IF WE DONT GIVE BIRTH TO KIDS, AND KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES, THEN HOW DO WE HOPE TO KNOW ANYTHING? ONCE MORE IT IS TIME TO LOOK TO THE WHITES FOR SALVATION!
