As i collect 10k from atm yesterday. I just dey chop like weyrey, buy egg roll, buy suya, buy biscuit. Jist dey buy buy. Junks wey i chop yesterday pass the one wey i chop for the past 2 weeks combined

Nigerian Railway Association should not exonerate themselves over what happened... They got 48% of the blame in my opinion...
What safety measures did they put in place to make sure that citizens were safe on the road?

Was there a barrier or barricade in place that prevents motorists from crossing at every rail line intersections?
Was there an Alarm bell in place that warns pedestrians at railway intersections whenever a train is approaching the intersection?.. (incase they have earphones on)🔔🚨

It is really easy to point fingers but they failed in their own part to secure the lives of those motorists as well that lost their lives.. assuming there was a barrier that is automatically or manually operated, that driver wouldn't have attempted to cross 🚧🚷

Most times, there is always NRC staff that stops vehicle from crossing when train is approaching. But this BRT drivers have this feeling that they are driving government busses and can never be arrested for floating traffic rules and tend to do whatever they like on the road.

Shot was fired at voters, but children were the ones dieing.

Before you collect old naira notes with the hope of depositing it in the bank just know that banks won't collect it from you as without the code you generated from CBN website.

So it's one BVN....one code. So u can't use the same BVN to generate code twice.

It will ven take 4 weeks before your money reflects "all things been equal". But with the crowd now it could take 2 months

Any shift of the deadline without release of the new note will plunge people into more hardship.

We rejoiced last wekk when it was shifted only for this week's hardship to be more.

CBN will not return any old currency it has retrieved. People are careful of spending the new currency they have.

No one is depositing any money now. Bank solely rely on CBN supplies.

If they extend it, they cannot force CBN to push out new notes. I believe CBN is waiting to push the new notes out after the deadline.

That is my line of thought, I may be wrong

Let's hope for the best.
As much as you can do most of your payment through online transactions and leave the cash for highly essential items that demands cash

Pls don't take it to the bank, you can make up to 20k from it. I can buy at the rate of 5k for 100k that is if you are in lagos. You can make more if you can do the transaction yourself.

Don't give it to POS people oo. They will not buy it well because they too want to make their own profit.

Check all the POS around you and know how much they charge for 5k and 10k withdrawal. You will make yours a bit lesser so it can move fast. Lets say they charge 1k for every 10k, you charge 800. If they charge 2k for 10k, you charge 1500 or 1700

Once you know that go close to any bank ATM that is not paying or market and tell people you have cash
They will transfer for you while you give them cash.

As things are now, even if you have 500k,it will finish in 3 hours

Do you really need this? The currency redesign does not affect N100 and N50 notes. Just store a lot of N100 and N50 notes in your house. Redesign or not, you're not affected. Many of you don't have any business with N1000 notes to be honest. Those who need your N1000 notes can also accept transfers and cards (POS).

Which ATM or bank has paid you in N100 or N50 before. This same low denomination currency that always cause fight btw conductor and passengers.

Most of this N50 and N100 are gotten from money changers at party or money sellers

In lagos, first bank particularly, the highest withdrawal today through ATM was 20k. Inside is higher but old currency

I suffered this "not getting token and being debited" wahala late last year. My money was being debited and no token was sent or anyy refund made. Wrote email tire, went to branch office tire, wailed on social media tire. Honestly, this country is cursed.
