worksmart: Nothing is difficult, the retailer that currently has the drinks should simply return the drinks back to sprite and Sprite should cover all their costs. You do have a point. |
Health › Re: Contaminated Sprite Soft Drinks In Circulation - NAFDAC Alerts Nigerians by chival(f): 1:05am On Jun 29, 2023 |
worksmart: Typical NAFDAC, as the fake food safety agency that it pretends to be.
If NAFDAC is really caring for public safety , it should impose a compresive ban on all sprite drinks and force the company to recall all sprite currentlyin circulation, and order the immediate stop to any further production of the drinks until the company can sccessful demonstrate that their drinks are safe.
How is alerting Nigerians going to prevent people unknowingly consuming the unsafe drinks? It might be difficult to recall the ones that have been sold to retailers who bought from other retailers, if you know what I mean. Sometimes, the purchase chain is quite long. However, alerting the public will make consumers stay away from the product and protect themselves. |

Nawa for dem oh. Not fake, contaminated. According to the report, particles were found in them which means the plant bottled them under unhygienic conditions. |

ExudeLoveToAll: Do they still do that? Their is a machine that you can print your card with 24hrs of the day in front of the bank.
I have also been debited twice for card I printed few weeks ago from same bank though I initiated the debit card printing from the bank's card machine.
If the money is removed not for the purpose it meant for the he needs to be careful. A new ATM card can be printed immediately in your presence at the bank upon your request if your card is stolen, lost or damaged. I have done this with Zenith. You'll still be charged for it. However, in the case of expiry, the bank prints a new card for you shortly before the old one expires and you will be notified. My GTBANK Mastercard is usually printed and ready for pick up 2 to 3 weeks before expiry. I believe the idea is to prevent you from being stranded once your card expires. If you were debited twice for a new card, you should visit your bank and lodge a complaint about it. |

They do. Once your card expires, you will be debited to cover the cost of a new card, after which you will be advised to pick up your new card at a designated branch. The debit amount is usually N1075.00. |

The mall is not somewhere to go to have a "nice time" unless you are going to a cinema within the mall. You go there, shop and go home. Nigerians however seem to see visiting malls as some kind of status symbol, and that is why malls are usually crowded during festivities. |
Politics › Rhodes-vivour's Pledge (why They Are Calling Me Omo-ale) by chival(op): 6:16am On Mar 07, 2023 |
This Saturday, All Rhodes lead to Lagos *Why they are calling me Omo - Ale - Gbadebo Rhodes - Vivour (GRV)*
1. I am their worst nightmare; a true Lagosian. The great grandson of an eminent indigenous Lagosian, Justice SB rhodes, a founding father of both the Nigerian executive and judiciary who served on the executive council of Nigeria with Adeyemo Alakija and together with similarly minded nationalists built Lagos, a credit they and their leader have been trying to steal.
2. They do not want a true Lagosian to rule lagos as no true son of Lagos would allow their unchecked rape of Lagos state resources to continue. Why do you think Funso Williams was killed?
3. I pledged to take the money (10% of Lagos state IGR) they are siphoning through Alpha beta and use it to empower 1 million poor Lagosians with interest free loans.
4. My father Barrister Olawale Rhodes-vivour a distinguished, detribalized true son of Lagos who embodies the Lagos spirit of accommodation fell in love with and married my wonderful mother Nkechi from the igbo tribe and I Gbadebo (The one who brings the crown) Chinedu (which means ‘God is leading’) Patrick(of noble origin) was born. The fact I would live up to my names and fulfill my destiny to bring back the crown they have stolen scares them.
5. They are scared that the circumstances of my birth (half yoruba half Igbo) and my family’s pedigree (Rhodes - Vivour history of unblemished public service) makes it easy for both members of the Igbo and yoruba tribes in Lagos to support, trust and see me as one of their own. My soaring acceptance and political profile as a unifier amongst the yorubas, Igbos, youths and all other tribes in Lagos state scares them so much that they’ve resorted to sponsoring hungry igbo and yoruba influencers to go on the social media space to promote an Igbo takeover agenda that does not exist and tag Lagos as a no man’s land in the hopes of linking it to me with an intent to incite my people, the yoruba against me. They are afraid I’ll take the government from them and bring it back for the benefit of the people of Lagos.
6. I refused their bribe offer of 20 billion naira to sell out my ticket and step down from the Governorship race for Sanwoolu. They can’t believe I would reject this offer to betray our cause. My refusal is why they’ve tagged me otherwise that I inherited the stubbornness from my mother’s side.
7. I supported and coordinated the campaign of Mr Peter Obi the most competent presidential candidate over a questionable candidate from my tribe.
8. I have the evidence and I am insisting on going to court with Mr Peter Obi to prove that the presidential election results figures in Lagos was tampered with and rigged and he Peter Obi won Lagos overwhelmingly with 936,000 votes against their leader’s paltry 155,000 votes which is not up to 25% of the total votes cast in Lagos and despite all their entreaties and the people they’ve sent to beg me using parapoism, I refused to back down.
9. I have a plan to rehabilitate the Agberos and thugs they only use for their dirty work and reintegrate them back into the society as responsible people.
10. I promised to fix the bad roads in all parts of Lagos, from Ikotun, Ijegun, satellite town, Lagos - badagry expressway and ikorodu to sagamu express way irrespective of the predominant tribe living there in order to boost international trade in Lagos.
11. I pledged to provide affordable housing to all Lagosians and stop the racket that goes on with Government built homes.
12. I am the biggest threat to their succession plan which will see Seyi Tinubu become governor after Sanwoolu. |

Hence the brindle colour of a boerboel and the long nose of a Caucasian or German Shepherd..
A dog is still man's best friend regardless of breed .. but i advise that you don't breed this one ..let us only improve genetics of the breed when we mate our dogs.. see now you don't really know what you have here.. i would still say Boercaucasian I agree. Too many dangers associated with crossbreeding. |

chatinent: I am aware that there are aspects of the church that require financial support for upkeep and construction, but what exactly do you name something like this? Why is Africa the continent with the highest religious population but also the lowest standard of living? Isn't this theft in broad daylight? How exactly does one commit theft in the name of God proudly, and instead of being wise, you see their brainwashed sheeple defending them?
Dem dey tell you if you need sth make you ask God. But dem mah if dem need sth, dem tell you to bring money. Does it mean you pay God for everything? Then how is Christianity free? How much is devil na?
Little wonder all major pastors are billionaires. After all, the money never goes to 'God.' It ends in their accounts, and that of their families. And they move with bulletproof fast cars while you, the fool, need to always ask God for protection while you keep malingering the nature of your penury-stricken condition.
How much does it cost to be wise?
Absolutely nothing! So long as there are ignorant people (the laity), this will continue. Charlatans thrive on the ignorance and desperation of the people. |

So I have to add potash. Hope it doesn't have side effects.

Food › Re: Please How Long Does It Take To Cook Ukwa? by chival(f): 8:35pm On Jan 29, 2023 |
lovediehatelive: So yesterday I bought freshly peeled ukwa from a woman in the market.
I've missed it so much, so I decided to prepare it.
However, things didn't go as planned.
My plan was to perboil it for like five minutes, then cook with some ingredients, just like jollof rice.
I've been boiling it since, over 1 hour now, it's yet to become soft. If I take small and chew, it's still strong.
I don't want to waste it, please how long will it take to done? Unfortunately, ukwa (breadfruit) takes a fairly long time to cook. You just have to be patient until it's soft. If you add the other ingredients before it's completely soft, it will remain hard and be ruined. Next time, consider adding a little potash to act as a softener. |

Politics › Re: This Is the Reason Why CBN Is Not Shifting Deadline by chival(f): 4:50pm On Jan 25, 2023 |
Alusiizizi: Very true. First they change the currency, insist on a hard deadline to surrender old currencies right before the election and then impose withdrawal limits on what in principle would be new currencies. They must have been planning this for months before announcement. Anyone hoarding large sums of cash in vaults is basically screwed at this point in time.
Also from the looks of things Emefiele need not worry about intimidation. He has the backing of the presidency as well as some very powerful actors. Spot on. |
Politics › Re: This Is the Reason Why CBN Is Not Shifting Deadline by chival(f): 2:36pm On Jan 25, 2023 |
Alusiizizi: Perhaps you are not aware of the amount of money being dealt with. Any bank manager that allows a withdrawal of even a tiny fraction of such money will probably end up in prison. There's just no way to hide such a transaction, especially now that the CBN/EFCC will be on the lookout. Forestalling huge withdrawals by politicians is also the reason for the withdrawal limit placed by CBN on both individuals and organisations. It is a no-brainer, if Emefiele is able to stand his ground on this issue, many politicians will be affected adversely in the coming elections. |
Business › Re: Share Your Experiences Trying To Withdraw New Naira Notes As 31st Deadline Nears by chival(f): 12:04am On Jan 25, 2023 |
EKONGKING: I have seen this entire thing about currency replacement and trust me it is going to be brutal.
Common people will face maximum difficulty.
When Modi of India launched the exact same thing what we are witnessing in Nigeria in the name of demonitisation. Economy of India shrank and many people lost jobs. For almost 3months people of India queued up infront of ATMs and banks for new currency. But ends justify the means as majority of India transferred to cashless system .the country has got more revenue and eliminated majorly the source of black money or illegal money in their country language
What iam suprised is why buhari allowed in middle of election cycle unless he wants defeat of tinubu. Modi of India done this currency change midway through his 5 year term and his popularity plunged from 70plus to 45 percent acceptance . Many has predicted modi will loose elections ,but the 2 and half years softened the people anger , which along with his military strikes against Pakistan saved the day for him.
I think Buhari wants Atiku to win else no one would put his party in this much danger. The idea is to prevent politicians from hoarding naira notes for the elections. That is why Emefiele is refusing to extend the deadline. That is also why restrictions have been put in place regarding withdrawal limits. It is to prevent politicians from storing inordinate amounts of cash to be used to rig the elections. These same politicians are well aware that they are the targets and they are colluding with banks to create artificial scarcity of the redesigned notes in a bid to force the CBN to extend the deadline. That is why the CBN is penalizing or threatening to penalize banks that do not pick up their quota of the redesigned notes. As for Buhari, from all appearances, he doesn't have a preferred candidate in the coming elections. Looks like he is determined to ensure free and fair elections regardless of party affiliations. |

Some people have experienced smooth collection process...some have reported spending about 5-20mins at ward level collection centres ..
Some have also reported arriving 5am....and by 4pm..they are yet to collect of find their PVC.
I think the whole process depends on INEC Staffs at various collection centres...how skillful they are and their willingness to allow general public to help them in sorting the PVCs to make it easier.
So far, INEC has done averagely well..they can improve..
God bless Nigeria. It took me about 10mins to collect mine at the INEC area office. |
