Literature › Re: Common Grammatical Errors We Make In Our Everyday English by chris51(f): 10:57pm On Jan 16, 2013
Napkin is CORRECT. Nappy is coloqual pronounciaton of napkin. Nappy is more like abbreviation & people accept it. That doesn't make it correct.
Very bad grammar is when people say "I cannot be able to". "Its either I cannot do it" or "I will not be able to"
Politics › Re: Patience Jonathan Heading To Spain For Treatment - Saharareporters by chris51(f): 3:51am On Jan 15, 2013
I wish our 1st Lady a quick recovery. However, there is too much secrecy about the health conditions of our public figures in this country.
They live on tax payers money & its the least they owe us. We should know what's going on with them.
Hillary Clinton had health issues the other time & the whole world was told.
If our leaders don't want us to know what is going on with them, then they should not hold public offices. Its our right to know
Celebrities › Re: Sambo's Aide Marries Nkiru Sylvanus As Second Wife - Nigeriafilms by chris51(f): 3:30am On Jan 15, 2013
Is that the best which Nkiru can do for herself? To be a 2nd wife to a malam. Is she that desperate? I'm ashamed for her & disappointed, with all her innocent look. She must be a hypocrite
Politics › Re: Azazi, Yakowa Die In Helicopter Crash? by chris51(f): 9:55pm On Dec 15, 2012
This is very sad indeed. May his soul Rest In Peace. Amen
Foreign Affairs › Re: Donald Trump Freaks Out On Twitter After Obama Wins Election by chris51(f): 7:01pm On Nov 07, 2012
I congratulate Obama with all my heart. Did marvelously well. Its not easy to repair 8years of Bush's wasteful administration in 4years.

Donald Trump is only crying for the money he invested on Mitt Romney. He is not a good sports man. Loser man
Politics › Re: Mark: State Of Origin Should Be Abolished In Nigeria by chris51(f): 10:00am On Oct 23, 2012
Kudos to David Mark. State of Birth & State of Residence. That's all we need to move the country forwardfor now. With time, other things will surely follow
Celebrities › Re: Dino Melaye's Wife Responds To Bisi Ibidapo Obe Pregnancy Tales by chris51(f): 3:39am On Oct 10, 2012
My honest advice to Tokunbo, Dino's wife is to ignore Bisi & Dino, let them sort out their mess. Bisi is embarrasing herself, hit & run is what Dino did to her. If she is important to him why did he abadon her?.

Tokunbo, please, my dear young lady, take it easy in the home front & enjoy your lovely family. You remember how Hilary Clinton gave Bill moral support in the face of scandal like this. May be you were too young then. Where is Monica who wanted to destroy Clinton's marriage? No where.

We know Bisi's type "daleru, daleru". Nonsense
Fashion › Re: How To Heal Pimples Fast And Naturally by chris51(f): 2:51pm On Oct 08, 2012
@timijo. This is an excellent piece, thank you very much. From your write up, It will cost little or nothing to fight pimples.
Politics › Re: Ojukwu's Siblings Give Bianca Quit Notice From His Residence by chris51(f): 2:05pm On Oct 01, 2012
Bianca should have seen it coming. Ikemba was properly married with children when she married him. I remember very well that her father was very much against the union. Its obvious that Bianca's interest was to inherit Ojukwu.
Bianca should take note of the following:
Ikemba Ojukwu was married with children before she greedily followed him.
Ikemba was not the 1st son of Sir Louis Ojukwu.
The properties did not belong to Ikemba
Properties belong to Ojukwu family.
If she is wise, she will keep her cool & allow the matter to be amicably sorted out.
The press can't help her, but will only complicate issues for her
For her own sake, she should allow peace to reign
Politics › Re: Saudis Block Nigerian Envoy From Detained Pilgrims by chris51(f): 6:21pm On Sep 28, 2012
The whole episode of repatriation of our female pilgrims in Saudi Arabia is very embarrassing & shameful. Saudi Arabia has rules & regulations governing performance of the holy pilgrimage. If the Nigerian Muslim Pilgrimage Board had adhered to these rules, the unfortunate episode could have been avoided.
From the on going, Its obvious that Saudi authority has no regard for Nigerian muslims, yet, muslims in the Northern Nigeria want to islamitise the entire north. This is very ironical.
I challenge the boko men to rise up & protest seriously, against the humiliating treatment given to their women.
SHAME-SHAME-SHAME
Politics › Re: Empty Seats, As GEJ Addresses The UN General Assembly by chris51(f): 3:30pm On Sep 28, 2012
GEJ was well loved before he was elected, in 2011. He made political blunder by announcing removal of fuel subsidy on 1st January, 2012. The chain reaction of that action is the result of his addressing empty seats at the UN.
Nigerians turned against him.
He is not loved at home, how can he be respected outside?
He refused to build more refineries. Why should we import fuel & create jobs in other countries while our graduates are roaming the streets jobless?
GEJ's policies are anti masses & encourage corruption. He should re-assess himself & improve his image locally if he wants to be taken seriously by world leaders.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Agrees To Reverse N5000 Note Plan by chris51(f): 1:11am On Sep 20, 2012
The saying is "look before you lip". Our President should carry out consultations before endorcing proposals by Ministers & political appointees.

In Western world, people don't carry coins about. Their society is almost cashless. You use credit/debit cards to pay for goods, fuel etc. People also make payments online.

Sanusi's policy is not in favour of the masses. Critically looking at the proposed N5000 note, I believe it was meant for politicians & their ghana must go syndrome

Sanusi is too full of himself & should be called to order. His policies have ruined the banking industry.

God bless Nigeria
Politics › Re: Who Is Nigeria's Most Respected Statesman (dead Or Alive)? by chris51(f): 3:52am On Sep 12, 2012
I go for Obafemi Awolowo. His displined life style had no parallel in his time. His free education put the west above all other regions. If he had got a go at the Presidency, Nigeria would have been a better nation

In military, Yakubu Gowon all the way
Politics › Re: N567M Missing PHCN Pension Traced To London Bank! by chris51(f): 3:39am On Sep 12, 2012
PHCN workers should know who their real enemies are. Barth is not their enemy. Thanks to him for the revelation of whereabout of the pension scam money. That's why the high & mighty got rid of him
PHCN workers please wise up
Politics › Re: GEJ Departs Botswana Before Schedule - SaharaReporters by chris51(f): 3:20am On Sep 12, 2012
Head of State of a country is a public figure. If circumstances sorrounding Nigerian head of state & his family are shrouded in secrecy, then, rumour & speculation become order of the day.
In as much as I sympathise with Patience Jonathan, the Presidency is duty bound to be open to the the citizens because the 1st family lives on public funds.
If our hospitals were well equiped she could not have been taken that far for treatment.
I wish her a quick recovery

Sports › Re: Chioma Ajunwa (First Olympic Gold Medalist) Delivers Triplets by chris51(f): 5:09pm On Sep 10, 2012
Congratulations Chioma. God bless you and your bundles of Joy. You deserve happiness because you made Nigerians happy with your Olympics Gold medal.
How she got pregnant, either thru IVF or use of fertility medicine, Should not be anybody's business.
The most important thing is that God has blessed her with healthy triplets (2boys & a girl).
We rejoice with you & your husband Chi.
Celebrities › Re: Eedris Abdulkareem Calls Obasanjo A ‘Mugu’ by chris51(f): 10:56pm On Sep 02, 2012
Its very unfortunate that eedris refered to an elderlyman & ex President Obasanjo as mugu. This simply means that eedris has no respect for his own biological father.
Respect for elders is key in our culture, no matter what part of the country one comes from.
No right thinking Nigerian will insult an old man like Obasanjo.
If eedris wants to be blessed with old age, he should tender unreserved apology to Nigerians for insulting our ex President
Christianity Etc › Re: Nike Oshinowo Avoids Churches Because Of Unnecessary Attention by chris51(f): 8:24am On Sep 01, 2012
I believe that what prompted her not going to church is the controversy sorounding her marriage to Dr Soleye, who was legally married with children
Nike is not as beatiful as Bianca & others who were still strong in their faith
She should know that her presence was embarrasing decent people in the church, hence they look at her.
The look is not that of admiration but of annoyance
Celebrities › Re: Im Fed Up Of "White" Nollywood Actresses by chris51(f): 10:25am On Aug 07, 2012

Celebrities › Re: Charly Boy Prays In Church & Introduces Linda His Alter Ego by chris51(f): 10:09am On Aug 07, 2012
All said and done, its refreshing to note the family attribute of Charley Boy, the father of 8 & grandfather of 12. Has been married to D for ages. This is commendable. He should now retire from crazy stuff & enjoy a blissful old age
Politics › Re: Southern States To Construct Lagos-Calabar Rail Line by chris51(f): 12:43am On Aug 01, 2012
This is a welcome development, long overdue. Rail between Lagos & Calabar will pass thru other Southern states & will reduce traveling time.
People will be spared the harrowing experience of traveling by road.
Traveling will be safer
Wear & tear of roads will reduce
Above all, it will bring Southern governors & the people closer
There will be more development. All the towns where the rail will pass thru will develop fast
Sports › Re: London Vs Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony: Which Was Better? by chris51(f): 7:19pm On Jul 28, 2012
China was definitely overall better. Very colourful &, captivating. In London's ceremony, the lighting of Olympic torch & the Queen's James Bond theme were brilliant. The 70s into 80s dances were boring & unnecessarily too long.

Celebrities › Re: Omotola Vs Nadia Buari, Whos More Cute Facially? by chris51(f): 8:37pm On Jul 25, 2012
Omotola is more beautiful than Nadia, all the way. Omo T has a fantastic figure. She is a mother of for children & to still look this good, she is a diva. Nadia is mixed race, which is all what she has.

Politics › Re: Oyo Lawmakers' Wives Harassed In London by chris51(f): 7:43pm On Jul 22, 2012
Kudos to Oyo indegenes in London. I bet you, many of those legislators' wives cannot speak simple correct English. How would they follow the program? Our money should be put to better use.
Celebrities › Re: Jim Iyke Arraigned In Court Over N15m Fraud by chris51(f): 12:14pm On Jul 21, 2012
Jim Iyke's attitude is very disgraceful, why should he be living off women? What happened to all the money he makes from acting? He should clean up his acts & start living a responsible life.
Politics › Re: Fire At Abonima Jetty & Atali Eneka Road In Port Harcourt by chris51(f): 1:26am On Jul 21, 2012
Its very disheartening for Rivers state to be experiencing tragedies recently.
May almighty God protect residents of Rivers state & console families of those who lost their lives in the different explosions. Amen
Business › Re: Soludo Versus Sanusi? Who Is The Better Reformer? by chris51(f): 7:20am On Jul 06, 2012
Soludo is a better reformer
Sanusi killed the banking sector.
Thousands of Bankers lost their jobs under Sanusi's regime & are sent to labour market
Very bad legacy for Sanusi
Christianity Etc › Re: Confessing Sins To A Priest , Right Or Wrong ? by chris51(f): 12:05am On Jun 29, 2012
Priests are sworn to secrecy & your secrets are safe, unlike telling a friend who will later betray you
The Priest prays with you & gives you relevant portion of the bible to read
This begins your healing process & you are mentally relieved
