A distant relative who has been struggling with mental health challenge for some years now left home sometime in May & has just recently been found in far away Edo state. I cant stop wondering how he got that far from Ogun in such a state. People have said it is common with such patients. I would like an insight from anyone who has an idea or first hand knowledge on how they travel so far away from their homes to places where they've never been & know no one. |
Haha! Its a man's world not because I said so, it is what it is, until gender equality is a thing. Every one with a decent head on their neck knows this but you wouldnt. kalufelix: |
Since that guy got busted, traffic on this thread has been really slow...lol |
Its a man's world. Are you still in doubt? UndauntedYOCA: |
OMG, you're such a dolt! So her purpose in life is to be a sexually active 17 year old lesbian ![]() "You cant mould a child..." bla bla. Are you an imbe.ci.le Why are you so senile?? Kalu, when you have your kids you better train(mould) them to be responsible individuals & productive members of the society. Otherwise, may they murder you first, before they become a menace to the larger public, AMEN. Such a nuisance! *spits kalufelix: |
Madam, I'm really sorry about what you are having to deal with. We try to bring up our kids in a certain way but once they go out there, its certainly out of our hands. You barging into her was for a reason, do not take it for granted. Now is the time to be careful, as angry & disappointed as you may be, your words & actions must be measured else you push her away & worsen the problem. First, you must accept what you saw & that there's no quick fix. Continue to love her & encourage her as a mother, be genuine. You need to reach deep into her & touch her like only you can. Encourage her to focus on her studies. Continue to provide for her needs. Be clear & stern on drugs & prostitution, she has to stay off. Monitor her school performance. Keep praying for her. Never let her feel that you understand her sexual orientation. Often tell her you look forward to her wedding & carrying her child. I feel its a phase she'll outgrow with time. May the Lord be with you & your family at this trying time. |
I cant but imagine the many times your parents have expressed to others their disappointment at having a child like you. *spits kalufelix: |
How dare you? Why does it matter to you if she'll feel any more or less? Its within her rights to feel however she felt, its her daughter here. Her disappointment is based off her moral/religious inclination & experience coupled with her expectations/dreams for her daughter. You dont have to accept it as a matter of opinion but dont you EVER question it. Boy dont be hanging on the web asking dumb & provocative questions. This world is small. Makavelli25: |
Igbos are too angry for their own good...the anger blinds them against reason & logic. |
Evil thrives when good people dont speak up. |
You're welcome. No one needs to wait for biblical reason to celebrate a birthday or anything thats worth celebrating as long as it is to the glory of God. TundeKorede: |
Jehovah witnesses have you all in your feelings. |
I really dont get your drift. If you dont mind, I'd need some clarity but you have to be civil. Otherwise dont mind. OPPPS: |
This is facts. Esseite: |
"Igbo must shed the victim mentality" No truer words have been said by an igbo man. The igbos have my sympathies for the civil war but the idea that the igbo were just on their own & a certain ethnic group began to attack them is balderdash! Right from pre-colonial times till now Igbo haven't had sincere leaders who fought for the collective. One or two good people here and there is hardly enough. The south south are the most ethnic diverse region in Nigeria. How they manage to maintain a common front on certain key issues is something SE may want to study. Infighting is a weakness, the opponent like to see. When GEJ was president, even before he took over. I dont remember the Edos, Ibibios, Urhobos etc. being his biggest problem, they rallied around him as one of their own. A man from the SW (Tinubu) & SE (Peter Obi) will have to contend with his own brothers first! Its an eye & ear sore. |
Okay, you're right. He was arraigned a day or two ago with Money laundering as ONE of the charges. einsteine: |
Great news. Let me use this opportunity to reiterate to the cultists viewing this thread that none of you or your so called brothers are invincible, even the ones that kill everyday. Just one tactical squad given free hand to operate in each school & its adjourning areas & permitted to return fire will clear y'all doubts in less than a week. Government has only refused to use force on students for obvious reasons. Quit cultism now while you can. kingthreat: |
She didnt even tell the guy when she got the excess funds. Someone she was going to marry. She'll most likely cheat for pleasure, money or career without remorse. The guy's in the right. I'm sure there's been several similar instances in the past. |
How do I tell you that you don't know what you are saying without offending you? Hushpuppi hasnt even been charged yet & about 95% of internet fraudsters are not hackers so what exactly are you saying? einsteine: |
Mompha is not an internet fraudster. He operates a bureau de change. That doesnt mean he's clean but to put him in the same net as Hushpuppi would be wrong. Mompha would be guilty of money laundering at most. |
Yea, that was Malaysia. Those 3 countries are hotbeds for nigerian cults. JasperVII: |
Pulling out of cultism is tough. Your group wont accept it & your rivals wont believe it, JUs you offended will try to get back at you. Its you against the world, its tough. If you are well casted in the game, just leave Naija but pls dont go to italy, SA or Malay. Keep your location secret. If you're living a double life where you're a cultist only in school, leave your uni for a private uni in another region. Stay low there & face your studies. If you're casted at home/on the street, you need a new home. Go stay with relatives preferably in states up north boycott your home/friends. Start afresh. Its not as easy as stated but those are practical steps. You must have made up your mind, you need to open up to certain family, who'll give the moral/financial support you need to get through. Change your lines, be reborn. When you get into the new location, dont be idle. Be calm, be Godly, be respectful. Quit drugs & move with Jus. Be prayerful, stay off crime. You MAY have to legalise your renounciation. |
Nah bro we good. No offence here. Stay safe. Love & light. kingthreat: |
We good bro. Thanks all the same. Cheers. mistarsam: |
Thanks. I agree with you 100% but he's not with us. If you read down previous threads, you would understand better. JasperVII: |
Lol, I'm a straight up guy. If you read my takes here without grudge you would have noticed. I dont bluff. Hence the use of the word dullard cos really, in my heart of hearts, thats how you struck me. For another instance, this your reply to my post is such a dunce thing to do but I cant say that to you cos you're very touchy. So I'll just say - enjoy the rest of your evening. kingthreat: |
Now I kinda feel sorry for you, lol, dont mind me. See, here its only text people read. I give it to you that your true intention may have been misunderstood but you haven't helped yourself either. Nobody reads minds, so clarity when communicating is important. If you have been misunderstood, pinpoint the area of conflict & clear it up immediately. Do not give in to tantrums. My first response with 'dullard' knocked you off balance. Dont fall for words easily. You are not a dullard, you're a smart guy but thats not enough. You must be emotionally intelligent. Dont avoid people for their views - its builds up negative energy within you, like today - engage them without malice. Unless they're plain stu.pid then you ignore totally. I take the word 'dullard' back, you're a smart guy. Cheers. kingthreat: |
