It's a normal thing that's been happening since the last few elections. It's not a novel occurrence. Trust you're geared up for Saturday. Don't forget to register on the INEC results portal so you can cross check results uploaded on the portal to what happened in your polling unit. BlueRayDick: According to the INEC timetable , campaigns are to stop 24 hours to a day before the election ( As provided by the electoral act 2022) . That means campaign for the presidential elections will end 23rd February 2023.
I guess this explains why all political parties are still doing campaign till now (unlike what we had in the past ) |

Nice one. The truth is now is the best time for your son to learn the basics if he really wants to pursue a career in football. Delay could mean he will be playing catch up to his peers. Bro you'll surprised at the perfect brain resetting powers that a perfectly timed Igbaju or Ibarun will do to a troublesome child. I think the trouble with most parents in Nigeria talking about the old school kind is always using physical punishment as discipline for every situation. I think spanking should only be used as a last resort that will make the child understand that they messed up badly but truth be told most times na prayers. You can beat your child like a runaway slave yet he turns out to be worse than Escobar others can be super indulgent with theirs yet he is more saintly than Mother Theresa. Erling is a goal machine he just knows where to be to score goals. Haaland has scored some top goals in his career. Yes has scored 100 plus goals across club and country he's on 188 goals in total. But I don't know if he got to 100 goals faster than Osimhen. do4luv14: Now that brings me to the question,
Can/has Haaland scored any of those difficult goals yet, or similar like it ,
Had he teased the 100 club career goals yet?? If yes, how many games it took him to get there, and for how many clubs

Just watched the highlights on youtube. Victor could easily have gotten a hattrick. The first chance he missed it unluckily hit the bar, second ball was quite high more like a half chance, third probably should have scored but keeper did well to put him off and finally fourth good save by keeper. Funny the most difficult of chances on the night he scored Joebie: I see Osimhen missed 3 big chances chai. Who watch the match? |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by chrisooblog: 11:35am On Feb 18, 2023 |
Now this is a narrative I feel I have to correct. People have been voting out unpopular or incompetent leadership now for a while now but we have just chosen to not to see it to drive the narrative "people should realise they have the power" talk. 2003 a school teacher with barely a kobo to his name defeated Kwankwaso a whole sitting governor of Kano. Peter Obi too beat the incumbent PDP that year. 2007 that was the worst 'election' in Nigeria's history Oshiomhole, Aregbesola and Fayemi still garnered enough votes that wuruwuru couldn't stop them from claiming their mandates. 2015 Buhari beat an incumbent. 2019 Saraki a whole Senate president lost against a rookie politician in his domain even with the support of the governor of his state who was PDP. 2020 Edo no be Lagos mantra that humbled Oshiomhole. So if Peter Obi doesn't win it's because he didn't do enough to convince the generality of people not any people discovering whatever gist. APC is there for the taking but the forces that should have aligned for now and worried about sharing the spoils later might just hand the APC an 'undeserved' victory at the polls. izzou: If there is any reason Obi should be considered, it is the fact that his victory means the people have come to discover that they have the power over their leaders.
Tinubu fought to end PDP's rule (I commend him for that), but he has now become the exact same thing PDP was; Rewarding failure with more time.
You cannot dissociate the man from his party, and it is true. Elements of Buhari's incompetent team will be part of it. Imagine a Ganduje that has his robbery on the internet, becoming part of those making our decisions. Let's not deceive ourselves abeg
I don't see Nigeria becoming better, but one thing is clear; If APC wins, we would come back 8 years later and wish Buhari was here. |

That's why I dislike the demonizing of people for making their political choices. Many good and genuine people voted for Goodluck because they thought he would make a positive impact unfortunately it didn't work out. Good people again voted for Buhari in 2015 thinking things will improve it hasn't quite worked out that way. Now some people will be voting hoping their choice wins to finally bring positive transformation but truth be told their are no guarantees. I've already made peace with the fact that however wins will not have a magic wand to change the country overnight but as an incurable optimist I can only pray things get better. seankafor: By the way, all of us supporting obi? What makes us think he wouldn't be much worse than his predecessors?
So of obi turns out bad tomorrow.. somebody will be using it to equate our daily life struggles?
Any person that is looking for any politician to save him is wasting his time because all of them are literally the same.. |

Yeah you're right he should continue working on his chance conversion rate that said I'm happy he's even in goal scoring positions. This means more often than not he will score because he's getting his movement and positioning right. Some aspects of the ANAP poll look realistic but how is Obi polling the same numbers (8%) with Kwankwaso in the NW? Doesn't make sense that's why I feel their methodology including that of other pollsters is missing some crucial demographic that would have given us a clearer understanding of the probable numbers that might vote. I agree with you about Atiku's chances looking slimmer by the day. He will be badly battered in the South and unfortunately for him I don't think he has the numbers in the North to give him an unassailable lead. He doesn't command fanatical support in the core North that would give him votes he needs to secure outright victory. garfield1: The problem for atiku is that he doesnt have any state he can get bloc votes from.even in Adamawa, Christians are fronting for obi.in bauchi, kwankwaso seems Strong and as you know, sokoto will be tight.no one is sure of dab iya's loyalties as his godfather is in apc...even delta I though he will win well is becoming tight according to you.same for aks.... His pathway is winning ne/nw by 60%,beating tinubu massively in se/ss.but you saw the anap polls, both had 20% in nw,he lead tinubu in ne by 1%,lost heavily in nc and sw.he won tinubu in ss/se by 4%... The anap polls is closer to reality but I dont think obi will win se ss in that margin |

Yes chief consistency is the word. Lol at Glass Onion I don't think it was that bad just that Knives Out over shadowed it but I get your general point. It's the same way I feel when people hype Nigerian movies like Brotherhood and Shanty Town when I've seen way better movies. Mujtahida: You have spoken well my bro. Maybe because I've watched a lot of players and lots of goals, I tend not to be overly impressed like that oo. Maybe. Take his two goals over the last two matches. Those are normal goals na. I'll concede that with consistency, he'll be a gem of a player.

That has consistently been my point when talking about Iheanacho. He needs to show more hunger and break out of the content state he's currently in. The ability is there I've seen it but the MENTALITY has to change. Nwakali is someone I hoped would have progressed but his "I've arrived" attitude really switched me off him. I'm not God to predict he won't eventually grow beyond his present level but the hurdles before him are a lot and playing Segunda just won't cut it. I've seen so many footballers reverse their fortunes and rise from obscurity to declare with certainty that Nwakali won't have a great career but boy will it be hard. komekn: You may dismiss me
But in my little football experience it's not always talent and ability but MENTALITY that is the core component for success.
Within mentality is humility, resilience, diligence, discipline, quest to improve and rise , overcome and overtake.
That's what VO is he was very weak technically and his football ⚽ intelligence near zero at Wolfsburg. But he realised, l got a lot to learn, he humbled himself with a never say die determination, he improved ,he Learned, he adapted, he pushed himself, he was never content ,he wanted more and has ARISEN. There is no discussion about top strikers without his name in the mix.
KC remained he has got to where he wanted beyond his wildest dreams. When he moved to Leicester he got £2.5 million in the bank 🏦 imagine what exchange rate then it was £1 to 250 Naira ( land and houses werva lot cheaper cement too) He was content football ⚽ became a pass time without any passion to RISE and make a name he has made the £££ ,nuttin remain, I have Arrived.
Isaac Success the waste Man was even worse big money enter hand ,brain scatter he even became over weight. Fighting 3 olosho in a 5 star hotel ,drunk and refusing to pay for services rendered.
Kelechi in a nutshell is a guy who began to celebrate before the goal was in the net . Living the lifestyle without actually being successful. He didn't improve he believed the hype his own and many who have hailed him here , Midfield maestro numero one, inside bottom of Segundo division. He has had too much opportunity but nothing to show. |

The Law you make a lot compelling arguments most of which I agree with and this post is no different. However I disagree with you on the bold. We can slam Iheanacho on his lack of consistency and unseriousness but you can't deny he has qualities that won't look out of place amongst an elite field. From the kind of goals he scores to the kind of assists he provides I have absolutely no doubt that if he adds consistency and single minded determination to be at the top you would be talking of a world class player. Osimhen is not as talented KC but his raw drive and and ambition to succeed has put him on the path to becoming a great player while Senior Man is content to be earning a massive pay check. Mujtahida: First Iheanacho has talent not immense talent. You exaggerate too much. He's your average Joe. There are players and there are exceptional players. Iheanacho is not an exceptional player. Let's be clear eyed about the way we estimate our players or maybe players generally.
The thing is that once you like a certain player or a certain coach or certain style of play, you hype them to heavenly heights and allow your bias to overshadow reality. This is one reason why we have arguments - sometimes needless arguments - on this forum.
What komekn does in underestimating is what you do in exaggeration. Different sides of the same coin. It makes me sceptical about the worth of analysis coming from either of you.
For Nwakali I know that football rewards talent, it rewards hard work and discipline. If he's been down there for four seasons now is that not an indication that he's not able to move up to a higher level? But since you have gone philosophical and since I am not God, I will leave it at this and wish him the best |
