Hello Gurus in the house. Please I need guidance on visiting the US for a vacation.. 2022 while I was in Nigeria tourists visa for vacation was denied. Currently, I am in the UK as a skilled worker for a year now, I want to visit the US for a vacation, what and what do I need. Do I still go on a tourist visit on vacation or conference, if it's conference, then what conferences will relate to my kind of job as a skilled worker for Health Care Assistant/Support worker. So I don't really know what the US embassy wants. I don't know if i am not doing the right thing with the DS160 form as expected. Please your suggestion and opinions will count. Thanks Lexusgs430: |

@OyoTunjiUSA, Please be calming down, my question is not thrown at a particular set of people, it's to everyone in the house please. Your opinion you have stated and it's appreciated. Notwithstanding I only expressed myself about the time frame being two long, after all some people didn't wait that time frame and they got it. We are here to help one another and not to make mockery of one Cheers OyoTunjiUSA: 1 Like |

@OyoTunjiUSA, Thanks for your response. My profile here it's my job, I the main applicant and my husband dependant. Children in Nigeria schooling not able to come with them and was told by UKVI that they can apply on their own for visiting if they wish because they are not eligible as being above 18yrs. I just clocked 1yr recently. I am entitled to leave from work. So does it mean I have to wait for 3yrs before I can apply for vacation to the US that's strange. Have had quite a good travel history before I finally came to the UK. I have come on 6months, 2yrs visiting on vacation to the UK before I finally got this job. I have been to Dubai twice on vacation , Ghana vacation all the while i was in Nigeria, and I returned as at when stated. I still believe that there are some people that has not stayed up to 3yrs and still got the visa. However, like they said one of the most important thing is the information filled in your DS-160 form. That's why I am asking for tips and guidance, probably i am not doing it rightly as expected. Because for all my travels before now has been from the right information gathered from the Nairaland UK visiting Visa justwise, UK Skilled worker, all the suggestions and contributions I gathered when applied paved way for me. So I am here for guidance, I don't think I have to be 3yrs before I can apply. The last refusal I got was that I told them am going on a vacation for 14 days, and I will visiting some tourists attractions like the statue of Liberty, etc and few shopping. Please let the suggestions and contributions come in, as open to learn Thanks a lot OyoTunjiUSA: |

Thanks for your response I appreciate. So I can still apply as going for vacation then. If you don't mind I will appreciate asking questions when I intend to start, at least am happy have seen someone given. Because of a truth back then in Nigeria we have had 3 deniers and that kept me saying probably there's something I am not doing right. Thanks so much KodakBlack: |

The minimum requirements from home office is 4 band, and 4 for each of the modules. So you are good to go if you have this as stated above. Both for employer and visa application. GorillaApp: |

Good day gurus, Dependant did biometrics on 13th march. 30th March Mail was sent for BRP that visa was successful. But on tracking it's showing still at DMC, yet to get a mail from TLS for collection of passport. Is there a link or email address one can send to for the delay. Thanks for your response 1 Like 1 Share |

Please kindly clarify me, the Partially vaccinated means if you have not completed the dose, let's assume you where vaccinated first and you were given a vaccinated card, and they said you can come back anytime for a second dose, is that it?. And if so you still have to pay for test, and how much please. But I thought they don't do all these pcr test things again, since UK said no test before coming in weither vaccinated or not. I never knew Nigeria is still request for this test when coming from UK to Nigeria. Thanks giselle237: |

If one have any agency that will give you the sponsorship when applied and one has his or her university first degree B.sc certificate and transcript, do you think one still needs the IELTS. Thanks Perfecttouchade: |
