My advice:
Keep it open and always save the best for the last, you'd never know when the heat'll burn you up!

@ Judges, We really need to discuss, meanwhile for a start, let's analyse the lyrics of the following tracks:

1. Running. Tupac Feat. B.I.G.
2. Favor for Favour Nas Feat Scarface
3. Renegade Jay-Z feat Eminem

and rate each rapper according to our metrics, then we form our metrics for judging the contestants. NO BIAS.

Newcastle will be the best place for him. That is their only replacement for Bellamy. But I would like Boro to snap him so we can have Martins Yak and Viduka upfront. How nice grin

RAP - Rythm And Poetry.

I will give points for:
1. Originality
2. Rythm (syllables and morphemes)
e.g. It's the en|-oh| - tee| - oh |- ar |- ah - |oh
                    U |- S |  You |just  |lay  |down |slow

3. Flow and Relativity i.e. if lines go off target, they must converge at a point and bring out the intention(s) of the rapper
4. Ability to convince
5. Clarity of points
6. Intro and conclusion
7. Creativity and Rhyme scheme (dumb, numb, score, bore, mean, seen, e.t.c usually aa bb that is line one rhymes with line two, line three with line four, and so on but you can invent your style so long as you stick with it.)
8. Free styling (where your rhymes don't seem to go in, you find an alternative phrase that quite agrees with it and find a way around it, or bend it)
9. Suspense

I will not give points for:
1. Excessive comparison
2. Excessive use of names of places
3. Excessive use of names of celebrities
4. Lengthy lines that refuse to correspond after at most 8 lines
5. Excessive encoding of points
6. Chorus

The winner may, not surprisingly though, not agree with this format, and I hope you guys do your best. You are who you think you are, and you are the best whether you win or not.

Super Sports bought the right, i believe for Africa, for a huge amount of money, i guess for some years (a lucrative contract) and they have exclusive rights. Nigerian Stations can subscribe to CFI or some other stations but for the premiership, I guess its them.

Meanwhile I do not think any Nigerian Station can pay for it. Maybe the Fed. Govt should sponsor NTA and I hope they'll put off all those PDP news and dry programs for Premiership games on Weekends - Can they? Jobless people.

Reading soccer previews like hell, can hardly wait for the premiership, wanna see Ballack and Yakubu in action. Can't wait for Scholes to start scoring again, and Henry has now been taking for granted by me. I expect no less than 30 goals a season from him. Huntelaar must score 40 this season, of course in the Dutch league.

My team are not really buying players, but we hope for a miracle. Boro will twack ur team, take it or leave it.

KD69:
Gay jewish men are very powerful in the entertainment industry and can ef your career up in a hot minute. They are even more powerful because they can be closeted. Dude, 30 percent of the world is gay and many of them are on this board pretending not to be. These reggae artistes are weak. If you believe in what you are singing, why would you apologise for it. Money, I suppose.
You mean 2 billion people are gay? As in the whole of China?

Common man, are you gay? if 1.5 billion people can die for their religion, you should boldly say you are gay.

Meanwhile if you said 2 billion people are Bi, then I might agree with you cos I can only speak for myself, but to tell me all those guys getting married to girls have nothing to dot dot dot. OMG! What's this world turning into?
SportsRe: How To Play Fantasy Football League Free. by Christino(op): 4:16pm On Aug 06, 2006
Great buys this season:

Goalie: Cech, Reina/Dudek, Lehmann, Van Der Saar. Clean sheet and saves.

DF: Carragher (infact liverpool defenders), Chelsea first team DFs, Taylor (Port), Arjen De Zeeuw (Wigan), Sam Sodje, Ledley King, Anton Ferdinand, Arsenal defenders, Rio Ferdinand, Garry Neville, and some other good defenders
.Clean sheets and clearances are really important.

MF: I won't advise on sure benchers.
Michael Ballack, Gerrard, Lampard, Duff, Lenon, Alonso, Tim Cahill, Joe Cole (injured), Ronaldo, Fabregas, Rosicky, Stelios, Speed, Butt, Jenas and some sure midfielders.
Make sure your midfielders score goals and assists.

Forwards: Henry, Bent, Yakubu, Johnson, Rooney, Shevchenko, Bellamy, Ashton. Goals, Assists, Penalties.

Overall, avoid players with histories of red cards and many yellow cards. Own goals are worst hit and avoid players prone to long term injury like Owen.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Vote For Your All Time Best Footballer. Pele/maradona/zidane? by Christino(op): 3:45pm On Aug 06, 2006
[Culled from a sports forum]
04/08/2006: 1st thing about an internet poll it is used by young people who have never seen Pele play, as many old people do not use the internet this is why Maradona won the award.2ndly it is not Peles fault that Brazil had the best team ever and if anything if he stands out from such a team this makes him even better. Argentina won the 78 World Cup without Maradona and also qualified for the 90 Final whilst he was too flabby to even play. The 86 World Cup was won as this was played in South America where only two teams are going to win anyway. Pele helped Brazil win in EUROPE in 1958, still the only team to win outside its continent, all this at just 17.Much of what people say about Maradona being better is based around exposed TV coverage which was not around regularly in Peles early career. If Maradona made Napoli a better team then what Pele did to Santos was almost superhuman (9 league titles in 13 years)in what is a team which barely stands as one of the greats in Brazil.Having 1 world cup and a few good seasons doesnt compare with a career of 1300 or so goals, 3 world cups and a 15 year career at the top. By the time Maradona was 30 he was playing in the Spanish 2nd division. Napoli also went 26 games unbeaten after his drug ban, where he boasted they would be relegated without him.

TV/MoviesRe: Do You Love Or Hate Nigerian Movies? by Christino(m): 3:01pm On Aug 06, 2006
The problem is originality. They steal scripts and scenes from American movies. They even try to steal from BOllywood - can you imagine. We have Nigerian Most wanted, we almost even had "Titanic".

If any Nollywood film mistakenly makes sense, check it, there's an American Version of it on MNET, Movie Magic or MGM.

And if there's any hit like Igodo, the next thing you'll see is Igbudu and co.
If there's any hit like Osofia in london, the next thing will be Love from Asia, Sososo in America.

Absolute Rubbish.

A rich Igbo man once called Zeb Ejiro and said, "Zeb, I want a film in 6 days time. I want Omotola Jalade, Richard Mofe Damijo, Genevieve and Aki and Popo, I'll pay you 5 million, just deliver the master copy and i'll do the rest."
-No script, no cast per character, no locations yet, no soundtrack (this one is one wack area for most of them), nothing in place, knowing fully well that some people are out to buy anything that comes out of Nollywood. Poor us.

PoliticsRe: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by Christino(op): 2:06pm On Aug 06, 2006
alheri:
Now looking at the lay out of dolphin estate, I think it was rather careless for Late Engr. Funsho Williams to be in active politics and reside in Dolphin. There is really no general security in that place. And the block he stays in is right beside another of his which is empty. Any one could have gained access to him that way. Now they're suspecting the killers came in through the empty house and the gatemen has not been seen since the murder.
If he had a camera in his house, the killers (if not masked) would have been identified and declared wanted, if masked, a clue would have been available. This is a lesson for all "rich" people, get CCTV.

You are aware he is not contesting for the first time, and he did not just move into the Estate. The murder was well planned, well executed but the finishing was woeful. The escape, though was perfect, anyone could have been murdered. I hope you know Abacha was "murdered" right in the safest place in the country.

I've always said there is no safe place in the world, even the grave is not that safe.
