Romance › Re: Airport Worker Dies After Sex With Girlfriend (photo) by chronique(m): 9:27am On Aug 29, 2016
This is certainly a dishonorable way to die. How many times have you heard about a husband or wife dying after both couples had legitimate sex? It's always those cheating, that die during/after sex. Lesson to all: stay loyal or die cheating.
Politics › Re: Buhari Agrees To Swap Boko Haram Prisoners For Chibok Girls by chronique(m): 7:52am On Aug 29, 2016
Before you celebrate, ask yurself this question: who exactly is in charge of the girls? The faction led by Al'Barnawi(mhammed yusuf's son),or the one led by Abubakar Shekau? Which of these factions will the FG negotiate with? Which of the BH members in custody of the FG,would be released? Barnawi or Shekau's men? This is a very dicey situation.

What exactly is your point?
louqas:
This is a naive write up and I think it's high time you guys stop all this rubbish. Educate yourself on how government work before coming to public forums like this to criticize government. Many federal government agencies receive their salary latest 20th every month especially the revenue generating agencies.
Romance › Re: What's Your Take On Online Dating? by chronique(m): 2:20pm On Aug 28, 2016
It should naturally nt be an issue but trust Nigerians to always abuse evrything man has created to help humanity move forward and make life simpler. People hardly tell the truth these days and honesty is a scarce commodity amongst Nigerians these days. That's why meeting people online and falling in love with them,is a big deal and something one should avoid if possible but unfortunately, that's a very hard call to make.
Romance › Re: Guys Who Sleep With A Girl And Broadcast It Are Hopeless by chronique(m): 10:01am On Aug 28, 2016
My not wanting this issue discussed or her name being mentioned, has nothing to do with me being a sissy. Kndly understand that this was firstly about me,before her and to a large extent,it remains a sensitive issue for me cos I'm directly involved. It took a lot of courage for me to even attempt using my experience to advice anyone. The more you bring up the issue and mention names, the more you stir up dirty waters. So pls, just drop it and see things from my own perspective.
T5OM:
Dude ,you were practically mentioning *** on every thread. "...That's what I told ***...", "*** was stubborn...". Stop being a sissy. Several guys she's scammed emotionally attested to it on that thread and other threads.

You have "...Money Before Women..." inserted in your signature, act it! You saved several men, even though controversially.

You brought the issue up, it's now in the public domain. Man up!
Romance › Re: Guys Who Sleep With A Girl And Broadcast It Are Hopeless by chronique(m): 9:24am On Aug 28, 2016
That's a very sensitive issue I wouldn't want us to talk about and I never did a "kiss and tell" with her. Some busy bodies decided to investgate and pull names out. I mentioned no one in my article initially. And pls can I ask you a favor? Pls kindly edit her name out f your post. Thanks a bunch.
T5OM:
Your kiss and tell saga with *** made us know who she really is and the number of Nairaland guys she's swindled with dating scam.
Romance › Re: Guys Who Sleep With A Girl And Broadcast It Are Hopeless by chronique(m): 7:30pm On Aug 27, 2016
What's the rationale behind sleeping with your gf and telling your friends about it? I don't get it. I don't think I've ever had to discuss such with my friends. What happens in the bedroom should be between us only and I don't think any sane and matured guy would see that as a topic to sit and discuss with friends. Even if I'm having a fling with someone,I don't think it needs any announcement. I think the kiss and tell thing happens to ladies who sleep around. For such people, they certainly can't escape it.
Celebrities › Re: CoolFM Confirms The Sack Of Daddy Freeze [PICS] by chronique(m): 6:09pm On Aug 27, 2016
We're saying same thing. Only thing is that you're almost totally exonorating basketmouth from any blame. Intimate relationships between people, are sensitive issues and should not be used as jokes to a wider audience cos you can't tell how hurt the parties involved are.
oluwabishop:
Look at it from the business perspective of both brands. Basketmouth owns himself and can choose to speak anyhow on stage, some fans may not approve and he may apologise and move on with his entertainment. But freeze is an employee of cool FM, and they're regular organisers and promoters of entertainment shows. Basketmouth is one of their valuable business prospects and they won't like any sour relationship with him which is just what Freeze is instigating. Let's just say that Freeze is hampering future smooth transaction of business with Basketmouth and his colleagues in his circle of interest and Cool FM acted in solidarity with their business prospect.

There are climes where your personal opinions and orientation can't ever be used to ascertain your relevance in your job, where there are stringent laws that can address the terms of your disengagement from employment and see if they're related to your terms of employment. An employee like freeze should have checked to know if he's in such a clime and if his management isn't concerned in any way about his various social media tantrums before going about freestyling like Piers Morgan.
Celebrities › Re: CoolFM Confirms The Sack Of Daddy Freeze [PICS] by chronique(m): 2:38pm On Aug 27, 2016
If his sack had to do with basketmouth's issue,I think the management of coolFm got it wrong. If it has to do with work related issues,no biggie. Posting a pic of a lady you once dated to shade someone you have issues with, who is currently married to that ex of yours,is quite childish and unnecessary. If an artiste did that, people wouldn't bother so much cos hip-hop as a genre of music, has its own way of making people do stupid things just to brag and make a point. However, that's not something OAPs should be doing. Basket mouth too should learn how to crack jokes with sense and stop acting his name. The moment made a joke out of freeze's domestic violence isht he had with his wife then,he lost it. Some things are too senstive to crack jokes with and I guess freeze just gave basketmouth a dose of his own medicine. Point to everyone: "never make a joke out of people's intimate relationships".

Romance › Re: Women Are Smarter Cheats Than Men, True Or False? by chronique(m): 8:47am On Aug 27, 2016
Very true. A woman can cheat on you and you'll never know. I'm mentally strong as a person but then, there's just one thing that can send me crashing down, and that's a cheating partner. I'd constantly keep ruminating over it and wondering what went wrong. Things like these, are some of the reasons why we sometimes build walls around our lives especially if you're introverted in nature.

Family › Re: “My Wife Prays As If She’s Fighting With God– Fed Up Husband Laments. by chronique(m): 12:59am On Aug 26, 2016
I can relate very well with this man's problem. I once had that experience. Some years ago,I took in a friend who was homeless and jobless at that time,to come live with me. I knew him from high school days and he always had issues wth him mum and his step father.
This dude was looking for a job then, and was undergoing training where he was expecting employment. I used to give him transport fare to go for the training, and of course, feed him. He was sleeping in the same room with me. I think I was job hunting then too,and used to go for interviews and all,and come home late. I had sleeping disorder then(used to find it difficult to sleep, and wouldn't sleep till daybreak,if my sleep is disturbed). When we want to sleep at night, this dude will start with his prayers and his voice would be very loud. If I complain about it,he wouldn't answer me,but would even increase his voice, and start praying against any demon disturbing his prayers. Sometimes,I'd leave the room and go sleep in the living room. One day,he was at his usual madness at night and my mum got upset and came to our room and told him that God will judge if it's a bad thing I did by housing him,and he's paying me back by not allowing me to sleep. The next day,he stopped greeting me,and went as far as not greeting my elder sister. He also stopped eating food we cooked at home. The general rule in the compound then, was that the gate gets locked by 10pm but he'd come back by past 10 or 11pm and we'd go beg for the gate to be opened for him(not all of us had the key). The day he left my house,he left very early around 5am without telling anybody he was leaving. Fortunately,I was awake but still laying on the bed like I was sleeping and there was no light. Dude was about closing the door behind him, when I called out from the room and asked him if that was how he entered the house, that he didn't even have the decency to tell me he was leaving...

My point is that, there are very terrible christians who pray without applying their brains, and do not take other people's well being and comfort into consideration. If this woman's husband sends her packing now, she'd blame it on the devil, and refuse to admit her stupidity.

Politics › Re: IPOB Splits Again: RE-IPOB Emerges, Sacks Nnamdi Kanu by chronique(m): 9:46pm On Aug 25, 2016
This is stupdity at its peak. You can create a thousand I-POB factions in the media but the people on ground, know who to follow. I still believe that the people of the east, see Nnamdi Kanu as their true leader. The FG should quit trying to give basketmouth and all other comedians,a run for their money cos it aint gonna work. That trick is dead on arrival.

Note: I'm not an Ibo man,and have no personal interest in the Biafra issue. However,I believe the Biafrans should be allowed to go if they want to. It's their right.

Just seeing this. I'm certainly not a proper example for this your advice. Moreso, you can't be so sure of what you're saying...
Am I the husband you intend to cheat on?

I'm just telling you the consequences of cheating you are likely to face .

He is even likely to react even if he suspects anything.

Guys hardly forgives cheats. I'm sure you read stories here. Chroniq.ue was a recent one.

Dude merely reacted cuz he suspected her. Even if the husband you cheated on forgives you, he's likely not to ever forgive you.

I for one look good enough even though there will always be someone who looks better. Same goes for the woman. This is where maturity and other factors like friendship and communication comes to play.

Cheers!

Politics › Re: BREAKING NEWS: Buhari Seeks Emergency Powers To Tackle Economy by chronique(m): 8:04am On Aug 22, 2016
Obj was there, yar'adua was there, jonathan was there and they all worked under the same laws and followed the same laws, and were still able to add their own quota to the development of the nation. Buhari is there now but can't function wth same laws and wants and executive bill passed to give him access to do certain things. We never learn in this country. If this bill is passed,it will aid corruption as govt officials would take advantage of the loop holes that comes wth it. What buhari is asking for,is power to break the rules and regulations that serve as controls to prevent crrupton and gross abuse of powers in awardng of contracts and all that,so as to move the economy forward. As usual, this will be hijacked by the cabals in govt and the result will not be palatable. Now,govt assets will be sold within the shortest possible period to raise cash. How would we be able to know if these assets are being sold at the right value,or being sold at a lower value since most of the bureacratic processes would be ignored to achieve this? Will you just sell a govt property based on it's previous value as shown in the company's balance sheet,or conduct a fresh audit and valuation of the assets, before assigning a value to it? We're creating an avenue for future problems.
