Yesterday, MTN illegally deducted 750 naira worth of credit from my phone line. I found out that they did the same thing to most people I know. The annoying thing is that their customer care lines are not responding. This firm has been taking Nigerians for granted for too long. As I write, I am going to their office to raise hell, they must credit my line back. Did any one have this same experience? |
OP if you are a serious human being, the least you can do is top post an asking price. I don't know what you are hiding the price for, as if you are the only person dealing wit highlander. |
OP I strongly recommend that you remove those pics. They don't prove anything. If we had a working system, you'll be getting sued right now. All you have done is defame a couple of individuals labelling them cheats. |
Fhemmy if you are serious about business please post your actual email address. What u posted here is not correct. I am interested in ur ipads but I am not comfortable posting my mail here. If you could post ur no. It will be helpful. |
freecocoa: Oboy see yarns, where do you live in naija? and mind you the type of dreads the mad men have is not like that of OP(him own neat pass small).LoL. I live in lekki, work in onikan where for some reason there is a concentration of mentally unstable people. You can tell how long a person has been mad for by the length of their dreads. For instance, like the op's own, dat one na 2 years... |
@Talina, I'm not saying responsible means no dreadlock, I'm jst reflecting public opinion. In 9ja every madman you see on the street has dreads. So for most people, the first thing they think of is...'Is he mental?' |
Most people supporting the op are nigerians in diaspora whose mentality have already been warped by the western world. Let's face the fact, no one will take you serious with your dreads in nigeria, you won't get a job in any corporate firm in 9ja looking like that. Its only 3 sets of people that carry dreads in the country. Those into entertainment, sportsmen and irresponsible fellows. The op confirmed it himself when he said the old people hate him. If you really loved your girl you would have shaved the dreads. Like every country, Nigeria has socio cultural values that ought to be adhered to. The public opinion of dreadlocked fellows is that they are irresponsible unless they prove otherwise. |
onyewec3: I don't knw why all dis media are confussing me? Wat is the real name of don baba j(don jazzy)?I guess you are one of the scumbags. Of all things, its because the media can't tell u don jazzy's name. Oshi. |
Some people are just plain stupid, they will see a title, move their pointer to read the article and start making noise: ' how did this get here?', 'I want the last 35 seconds of my life back', 'who cares?'. Mumu people. Dem put gun for ur head say make u open the tori? If u have something better to do, why click on the thread in the first place? |
omar22: What a load of Rubbish.....Stop being willfully blind.http://www.mohitsrecords.com/about/ says it all. They wont lie on their own website. Your idol worship of d'banj has turned you into a zombie. |
Bliss4life I am sorry to be insultive but you are ranting like an ignorant fool. I see your location is the UK and you think you know what's happening in the country? U say that the distribution of subsidy has been corrupted, if the government cannot combat corruption that is prevalent in every sector of the economy how do they expect to manage the finances saved from the removal of subsidy. |
1967, due to econominc, ethnic, cultutural and religious tensions among the various peoples of nigeria, particularly the north and southeast; the incessant kiilings of the igbos in the north, the refusal of the government to take any decisive action on the increasing state of insecurity in the nation, all these eventually led to the Nigerian Civil War . Enter 2012, I see a replica of the events that preceded the brutal biafran war, the christians in the north are being slaughtered like rams, the nations security is in shambles, bombing has become the order of the day. A mass exodus is already in effect, the southerners are leaving the north, the northerners in the southeast for fear of reprisal attacks have headed back home. Sounds familiar? Instead of addressing the issue of insecurity, the present government has chosen instead to heap more hardship on the shoulders of the longsuffering nigerian in the name of subsidy removal. This has led to mass protests, meanwhile the menace known as Boko Haram are threatening a total decimation of southerners in the north if they don’t leave, the Nigerian Labour Congress is geared up to commence an indefinite strike action, the nigerian public is already taking to the streets, organizing mass protests which might result in violence. And where is our president? Jona! Where are you? He’s in South Africa, Celeberating ANC’s 100th Anniversary! This is after delivering a recorded speech begging nigerians for understanding, promising heaven and earth. Jona promised us that foreign trips would be reduced to the barest minimum, but while his house was burning, he saw it fit to take 2 aircrafts and an entourage of about 200 officials for a party in South Africa. We all see the warning signs, the nation is already bursting at it seams, we are being led by a man who revels in taking “suicide prone” decisions. Everything is going wrong, prices of goods and services are skyrocketing, our roads are bad, we don’t have electricity, our leaders keep on looting with ease. As the mass protests begin today, I shiver when I think of all that might happen, will this be the beginning of the long awaited revolution? Are we going to tow the same line as the egyptians and libyans? Only time will tell. God help us. |

My Crush. She is beautiful. She walks pass my street every morning. I am always there, watching. Immersed in her beauty, I stare and I know deep in my heart that today's the day. The day I talk to her, the first day of the rest of our lives. Its fate, she's mine and I'm hers. We were destined to be together. I take the first step, my heart beats with anticipation. She looks back and she smiles. Does she see me? I pull my head from the window quickly. Maybe tomorrow. It's been two years, an extra day won't hurt. |
Hi. I wrote this a while ago, but recently I've been thinking of writing seriously. I would appreciate your thoughts on this. Her heart is pure. Her heart is mine. For every ache, she is my cure. For her, all day i pine. She completes me. She is that missing piece. Anything she wants I'll be. Anything for her peace. I confess, I'm smitten. I confess, I'm in love. All my defenses, she has beaten. All I need, I've found in her cove. My queen, my life, she's my everything. My drug, my salve, she's my saviour. Alas! Safe in her bosom, I want for nothing. Alas! She doesn't exist, she's just a dream, all I long for. |
I'm a big Adele fan, but I think a lot of people overcompensate for her when they start using words like hot, gorgeous, incredibly beautiful etc. Let's be honest she's just a pretty albeit overweight lady with a lovely voice. Call a spade a spade. |
Nice to see Adele fans out here. Set fire to the rain, Someone like you, Turning tables on constant replay. |
Its quite painful to see that on a day like this when Nigerians are lashing out from the hurt of seeing their fellow citizens die needlessly, asinine fools like BEAF still come out to rain insults on nairalanders expressing their grief. Its people like you that are the problem in this country, blindly defending a president when the country is obviously falling apart. At least you should have just shut up today, even if it's in respect of the lives that were lost. Maybe its when you lose a loved one, then the scale will come off your eyes. |
Does this our president live on a parallel universe or what? Inflation rate has dropped and yesterday I bought a can of sardine for N250? Something I bought a month ago for N140!!! Everytime I go to his facebook link I feel like breaking a bottle on someone's head. The most pitiful thing of all is that you see our fellow nigerians commending him; saying thank you sir! You are the best sir! Yet they go home through bad roads, they go home to epileptic power supply, they buy kerosene at ridiculous rates and they buy a can of sardine for N250. God help Nigeria. |
Its been a while since I commented on this site, the first thing I noticed is that tosinadeda still speaks from his anus instead of approaching issues in a matured way. The poster raised a valid question, one which I have asked my self many times. Fela's lifestyle was a total mess, a marijuana addict, unbelievably promiscous, he refused his son femi, the opportunity to be properly educated, he eventually died of a disease that would make anyone an outcast in our society. But what makes one an icon? Despite all his follies, he was a voice of the people, a vocal critic of our corrupt government, he stood up to the military when others cowered, he was able to inspire most Nigerians through his music, this alone elevated his to the status of an icon. |
Wizkid in my opinion lacks talent! All he has going for him is a good producer and his autotune enhanced voice. I was extremely disappointed to discover that Holla at your boy, which was one of his few songs i appreciated was copied. Here's the original track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=depOL5JsTXk |
lol!!!!!!!!!!! You crazy, |
Congrats to GEJ. Even though I didn't vote for him, I'm hoping he'll eventually surprise me and show some spine. That being said I noticed a serious discrepancy in the no. of votes cast in Bayelsa and the no. of registered voters. 472,389 people registered to vote in Bayelsa and Goodluck Jonathan pulled 504,811 votes in that state. hmmm. |
I have used them all, and in terms of stability, Starcomms is the best. MTN has the fastest speed but disconnects at will. Multilinks would have been ideal for me, but I hate their billing system, the same billing systems all these mobile networks are adapting. I stick to starcomms because they provide me with the option of unlimited browsing, even though their speed is average at best. |
nimma:I pity you, you have only shown that you are willing to be a fool for life. Please go an look up a picture of a gulfstream Jet, check out the interior, then go ti places like ajengunle or mile2 in lagos, ehta one of those face me i face yous, then you'll even feel like a bigger fool. Which kind of christian are you sef, God did not create all fingers equal? He might not have created all fingers equal but he created all men equal! |
I have a lot of word on the tip of my tongue but most of them would constitute blasphemy, I'm a christian thru and thru, but i'm beginning to hate this institution called the church, they have been totally bastardized, it's no more a place of worship, but a business centre, a sound investment which always yields bountiful profits. No amount of charity this man involves himself with can explain this madness. I read somewhere that its meant to be used for mission work, mission work ko! the money spent on that winged monstrosity would feed refugees in various countries. I didn't want to say this, but I blame his members, I blame the blind followers who choose to donate their hard earned money in service of this man's extravagance. 4 jets for Christ's sake! |
