sha in terms of looks, asa no even near ayo! |
eghost247:have you listened to her songs have you seen life is real? Despite the fact is was set in 9ja, it didn't sound nigerian at all, she couldn't even pronounce her name right. |
Ok i listened to no one can curse, its an online bonus that's why it was not on my album, you probably bought yours online. |
Asa is way better, she is 100% Nigerian, Ayo is quite good but judging from the few songs I've heard, she sounds like a foreigner trying to lay claim to African roots she doesn't really have. |
Ariwo ko! - Freestyle |
04kaa:Abeg what is critique? its a review of somebody's work with comments on its good and bad qualities. I don't see how that differs from what i did here. Pls nobody should ask me that question again. Sorry, No one can curse was not in my album o! hmmm, alaba bois! well, like i said at the end, this is jst my opinion, and i was not impressed with most of the production. |
I finally listened to all the tracks on M.I's new album and felt the need to drop my thoughts. Here's my track by track review of the album. The PRELUDE: I guessed it was supposed to be funny but sounded kinda silly to me, way too long. For an intro it was disappointing Track 1: Action Film with Brym O. I loved it, Brym O can do no wrong, was on point with the hook, M.I's delivery was good too. The production was flawless. One of the best songs on the album. Track 2: Slow Down with Julius Ceaser. Nice one. The production sounds suspiciously like that of Oleku. Nonetheless, it was good. Btw why would an artiste name himself Julius Ceasar ![]() Track 3: Number One with Flavour. Need I say more? This track is fast becoming a national anthem. Most people would say this was their favorite track off the album. It appeals to virtually everyone even dem villagers who don't know what rap is. Kudos should go to Flavour. His hook made the track. Track 4: Anybody with Timaya and Loose Kaynon. With Timaya on this one, you can already guess what the track is about, ranting about enemies and how he made it despite the odds. That being said, the track is not bad, but its kinda average at best, even loose kaynon's verse was mediocre. Track 5: Nobody with Tuface. My best track. Tuface delivers as always. M.I's flow was on point. Track 6: Beef. A track for all his beefers. Kelly hansome in particular. Track 7: Wild Wild West. M.I talks about Jos and its numerous problems. Don't have much to say about it. Track 8: My head, My belle. I don't really like this. M.I sings about the hardship most Nigerians experience. I think he should stick to his rapping. The production is sub-par. Track 9: One Naira. Whether na one naira, whether na one million, baby you gat me Nice love song, M.I and Waje combine beautifully on this. Track 10: Craze. I hate this song with a passion. Everything about it was wrong. The hook would appeal to only agberos. The production is zero, If you can get past all this, the lyrics actually make sense. Track 11: Undisputed. I was actually disappointed with this. Going by the title, I was expecting to hear something hardcore not his usual choco loco rapping with mellow beats. Track 12: Epic with Praise. I love the concert feel of this song. This guy called praise is good. Nice chorus. M.I's flow was on point. Track 13: Imperfect me. I think this is one the best tracks on this album, M.I admits to his imperfections. which is hard for anyone to do, he even brought friends to talk about what they hate most about his behaviour. It amazing how many times the word selfish came up in relation to him. Track 14: Represent with Choc Boys. The hook for this was kinda dry but Jagz, Ice and M.I didn't fail to live up. Kinda average sha compared to Nobody Test Me. Track 15: Unstoppable. Mellow tune, Like most of the tracks on this album, was below par. M.I came off sounding like a chewing gum rapper. He was rapping about how unstoppable he was but the whole thing sounded like a love song instead. Track 16: No man can curse. who God has blessed o, no one can curse o, Now this is more like it! correct instrumentals, M.I was on fire, so was Khalil! Summary: Anyone who listened to M.I's first album would agree with me that this effort didn't even come close in comparison. The production on most of the tracks were plain mediocre, made me wonder if Jesse Jags produced any of the song at all. That being said, I think this album will appeal to a larger audience than that of the first because there seems to be something for almost everyone here. The album was too commercial for my liking. M.I will lose most of his hardcore rap fans on this. My rating? 3/5. Just my opinion sha. |
chamber2:I guess that was supposed to be funny huh? |
Sometimes I marvel at the level of stupidity displayed on NL. I'm not a fan of IBB, but he's right, I don't understand how some people allow their dislike of one person cloud their jugdement. Please think objectively! And for the dunce claiming that IBB equipped Boko Haram, think before you write and stop making groundless accusations you can't defend. |
this guy na mumu o! did someone tell you that asa goes around naked !!!! thats the only explanation i can come up wit for ur title. |
I agree the lyrics of the song was kinda wack, the hook was the saving grace. but still, I've lost respect for Jeremiah Gyang. I assumed he had sgt plus' permission to remix the track. he ought to be sued. |
make i add my own, Zap u! I jst wasted my time opening this, change ur title! |
I don't see how the credibility of SNG will be affected by Bakare's agreement. I think this is a welcome development. these are two men of unimpeachable integrity. To me, this is the ideal pair to take Nigeria forward. Buhari/Bakare 2011! BB11!(catchy ain't it?) |
Nigeria's Senate Majority Leader, Teslim Folarin, charged in the daylight murder of Lateef Salako, aka "Eleweomo", the factional leader of the National Union of Road Transport workers in Ibadan, Oyo state, is a free man!Source: http://saharareporters.com/news-page/nigerias-senate-majority-leader-teslim-folarin-discharged-murder-trial-vote-pdp-convention Where are we going? Guilty or not guilty, how was this man released? This gives us a window into the future, a president that considers his subjects above the law. GEJ/SAMBO 2011? God help us! |

CGKing:After reading your post, I couldn't help but marvel at the extent of your stupidity. You and your post are a disgrace to Christianity. What do you mean by they would have to be poor to be swindled out of their money You talk as if Christianity is meant for the rich. Pastor Chris committed a crime pure and simple. He defrauded innocent churchgoers out of their hard earned money, no matter how small you think it is. There is no "strange understanding" in the House of God. Everybody goes there with the sole purpose of worshiping Him. God is against judging his kids So that means you should keep quiet when you see something going wrong You say we should stop being carnally minded and start thinking like Christians, I don't even think you understood what you wrote. You think like one who an expensive education has been wasted on. Christianity does not encourage collection of gate fees in the house of God and if you read your bible well, you would know that Jesus Christ was adamantly against commercial activities in the House of God! |
ikay88:Guy, don't be naive. the whole story is just PR bs, My company works with JB, all the discharged workers received their severance pay at our site office and I saw a lot of young and able guys who got discharged. The fact is that the federal government has started coming down hard on JB. They've stopped funding for most of their contracts. Its just unfortunate that its the Nigerian staff that is paying the price. |
@emeka. point taken. thats all I wanted to hear. I guess I'll do the same thing, use this one to supplement my normal internet connection. thanks |
Guy, its only polite to answer when someone asks you a question. I've made 2 posts and you keep ignoring me. I paid for your IWP2 and so far I've not been impressed. the server keeps slowing down, I have to connect and reconnect several times before I start browsing. there is no stability at all! I'm tempted to forgo this thing and continue paying 7k to starcomms. |
wesley80:You must be a dunce to think she can take such a big step without the endorsement of the president. You must be one of those blind GEJ sympathizers. I think waziri just shot herself in the foot. This action is going to bring about a ripple effect, If the US takes an active interest in this, they will turn their search lights on our corrupt leaders. |
Ujujoan:sebi?! EFCC are yet to prosecute, IBB, Abdusalami, OBJ, even the non-entities involved in the haliburton scandal and they think they can go after the ex VP of the U.S?! The united states has convicted virtually every American involved in the scandal and we're yet to indict even one person. |
I read this story on sahara reporters this morning. Honestly, I'm tired of Naija! source: http://saharareporters.com/news-page/nigeria-files-corruption-charges-against-dick-cheney-may-issue-bench-warrant-through-inter |
emeka, whats up! the speed with iwp2 is quite good, but i've noticed that its not stable at all, it seems to time out every 10-15mins, i can't download a large file using my browser cos it always stops, i cannot chat for more than five mins on my yahoo cos its always disconnecting. Is this normal? |
the only jobs that are available in abundance in Naija are marketing positions. You get paid by what you sell. who wants that? A greater percentage of marketers end up loosing their own money through transportation costs and co. |
pls can someone tell me which streaming site i can watch this match live? |
hi emeka, do u know how to configure utorrent to download with IWP2 |
emeka, whats the difference btw IWP2 AND IWP3? does one have a slower speed? |
I got suspended by starcomms for downloading from piratebay. So if the owners of piratebay go to jail what happens to owners of other torrent sites like isohunt, kickasstorrents n co? |
This is a Joke! They probably want to learn how to make a movie in a day. And for those who are crying pessimism, have you watched any nollywood movie lately? Anybody with eyes can see that they all lack quality. This ain't about being pessimistic, its about telling the truth as you see it, the 9ja movie industry is all about quantity and no quality. |
hmmm, this is the same man that promised us stable electricity by 2010 last year while he was VP. |
kokoye:monkey! |
Who is Tony Blair sef and what right does he have to tell us that the international community is behind Jonathan? Is he the international community? Some nitwits are even coming here to say Jonathan has been endorsed by the UK because Blair expressed his support. When are we going to free ourselves from the chains of the white man? Who gives a hoot what the international community thinks sef, their vote isn't going to affect the outcome of this election one bit, they have no idea what the normal Nigerian is going through. Abeg, you guys should stop paying attention to all these sponsored publications and ask yourself if the GEJ administration has affected you negatively or positively, If GEJ has improved your standards of living. Therein lies your answer. |
have you seen life is real? Despite the fact is was set in 9ja, it didn't sound nigerian at all, she couldn't even pronounce her name right.
