My second year in school, I arrived at the admission unit to see a newly admitted student I have been chatting for over a year, with my good dressing and scent, I went there still worried abt making a good first impression. I called her number, told her to come to a quiet area cos fresher's were swarming all over the place. As she approached, I faintly recognized her face. She was looking very little, wearing a colorful Nigerian Gucci gown, flat chest, flat ass and muscular biceps. Mine was funny, Got a text stating i should send my details in order to be considered for an interview, I did oo, thinking it was one of the jobs I applied for. I got a call directing me on meet for the interview the next day, I was so happy, dude even asked me not to forget my C.V. On the Day, I took transport to the location, with starched shirt and tie, feeling confident...It didn't dawn on me at first cos I went 30 mins earlier..People began to trickle in, when I assessed them, I saw most of them were teenagers, red flag, but I still tried to motivate myself and hope for the best. Then a board was brought into the hall, my mind became bitter cos I felt embarrassed, dressed to kill with Office file...Then I consoled myself and decided to wait a little after being persuaded by some of their members. Then the aggressive shabby looking guy started his lecture..These people try to convert you by any means. When I was finally leaving, To avoid losing on all ends, I collected number from a pretty looking lady among them. What's wrong with trying out new regional restructuring. We haven't really progressed in this "Giant of Africa" lie. Corruption is so high that even the students are demoralised in their studies cos they know they would still need skills after school. Internet Fraud is now celebrated cos even hardwork in legit fields can not guarantee a decent life. The government can't provide amenities, create jobs, security etc. Lack of innovation and future plans, over dependence on one source of income when there's potential for many. Federal jobs can't be applied for, cos the slots have all been given out to incompetent relatives. We know seperation and division won't end corruption. But at least it would make every region responsible for their failure. Most regions are not even educated enough to know their rights, or see the reasons to protest against bad governance. 4 Likes |

Graduated from that department few years back. Know both well, Njoku was the immediate past HOD of Chemistry Department, same as Agumuo. Well respected and feared in school, but this scandal don spoil everything..e remain some of our lecturers for that faculty of science 2 Likes |
