Flashaldrin: kai, the main reason why nigerians will never do well! You're busy hating on her just because she has achieved already at 26 what you wont achieve at 40. Keep hating and lets see if it will get you to the top.'when' or 'if'? My advice- why dont u tell ur med examiners that later part of ur trash post during ur exams? It will show how much u so desire innovation and bet u, u will be out early to start that line, disrespectful child. |
Gamji007: O.K grand pa! Can you please tell us the justice that was done to the victims of ND millitancy when amnesty was granted to the millitants? Why not tell us those victims of ND militancy and lets balance the scale with those of NH terrorism. |
1.4? |
And this is a country!!! |
Loves it. Information scanty. Please post more and pics or send to collinsadek@yahoo.com.Tx |
I am saddened by this development. What a senseless waste of human resource that would have helped in moving this country forward. Some of the comments made me even more sad though I'd never met the man but I know blood like mine flowed in his veins. We should please not allow all that is happening around rob us of our humanity, everything must not be turned to an item of ridicule and jest. Rip and condolences to his wife(now a widow) and children who have been made orphans. |
Wsdm: You did not add; unclothedness, indescencies, freedom of committing sins because someone has guaranteed them forgiveness by dying on the cross and the believe on imaginary blood as a base for casting out evil. And above all IDOLATRY( by calling a mortal God).place leave them in their 'ignorance' and continue in your wisdom. At least they are not bombing people to pieces in the name of their own 'god'. Let us stick to issues of discourse and not derail to irrelevances for want of any sensible contributions |
Wsdm: Why do you believe that every politicians in the north are Muslims? Plateau, Taraba, Benue, kogi, Adamawa, gwaris in Niger state and a handful of northern states have significant number of CHRISTIANS. Meanwhile, the politicians i am referring to are not even the ones below but "GEJ". GEJ is the one bombing us as simple as that.Hahaha, this guy is on a long thing!!! |
Samsantos9: First of all it annoys me anytime anyone says boko haram attacks both Christians and muslims alike that's a bloody lie how many mosques have been successfully bombed by boko haram? The number of churches destroyed by boko haram only God knows.Need I say more? Only that they are whacky-tacky upstairs!!! Elders indeed. |
Who can please u guys? E don die finish. Dem give u wetin to take call dem u still dey yarn opata wey dey turn belle. Which one una dey sef? Haba..... |
Have u guys observed that most times, the car brand used by these animals is golf? Hmmmn, that next golf going might be IED- laden u know. ![]() |
With Lag now becoming hot for these guys, the next sure place for them is Ogun. I think its high time the governments of the neighbouring states took measures to ensure they don't become safe havens for displaced criminals. Just my cent. |
oyb: i have to wonder if boko haram are on vacationAre you for real? So you'd rather leave them and go after bh! I tire for you guys. What a reasoning!!! #cringe# |
Its unfortunate this is happening in southwest Nigeria. The govs of southeast are battling the menace and sending strong signals to kidnappers that they would not condone such act of wickedness in their region. This is a wake-up call to the ever tolerant and accommodating people of the west not to lose sleep. Kidnappers are just bad people and not necessarily of any particular tribe. We must join hands together and ensure we rid our region of these animals in no time. Our flambouyant govs should stop all these their political grandstandings and work seriously to provide needed security so we can all at least be able to sleep with our eyes closed once again. |
Life is about choices and when we make these choices, we should be ready to face the consequences. Why did she run away? At least going by what most nlanders have said, she has a cogent reason- the man invited death by going after other woman- and would have been acquitted. I believe in eye for an eye. This life sentence of a thing is not it for me. They say its for a second chance but why give someone a second chance he/she had deprived others? She sat and thought through her plans and if I were a relation of that man, I doubt I'll wait for any law to catch up with that devil of a woman. |
[quote author=biolabee]Hmm,.. dear post, How can you advocating this sensible option That she should leave the house she built with her sweat instead of committing murder Since i will not enjoy my husband alone, no one will [/quote Hmmm, interestin. How are we sure she built the house with her sweat? Is that a licence to kill her husband? Honestly, I used to think men were heartless but I can now see that the devil has many sides including gender. This is what the selfish women libers would praise to high heavens. Today it is the man on the receiving end, I don't think I will care when the table turns tomorrow. I have always known its not everything from the whites that is good. This monogamy thing with its warped sense of entitlement is one of such. It was not so in the days of our forefathers. |
ifeness: This is top of the range stupidity! Holding Nigerians to ransom because most of them have been brainwashed with the "god" ideology. Why did god not ask him to release all the criminals in the prison? I think this god is only for the corrupt politicians! Just as the same god supported genocides and vicious atrocities in the bibleYou almost came across to me as an intelligent contributor until you showed ur ignorance towards the end of your rant. Respect God, He's not your mate. |
'Come back home'? . Ethics is he still doing at 'home'? He should by now be under lock and key for sanity's sake! Alright, he wants her abi? Let her go and poison him wela. The beast does not deserve to live and I tell you, she has my backing. Goshhhh! |
The mere fact that this one died on arrival shows anyone what Nigerians and ppl of Africa want. Move to UK and other western countries if you somuch hold the practice in much distaste. An advice! |
The problem with xtian community is the peaceful nature of d religion. I also observe how we trivialise these issues of unwarranted killings of our brethren even here on nairaland. I honestly dont see an end to these senseless behaviour until force is met with force. It is a very unworkable assumption that these attacks will stop with our love and patience. However, am nt really suprised cos its fulfilment of prophesy abt persecutions. My comfort is that there's a place for d saints and d fact that no one lives forever on earth. All those who enjoy killing innocent ppl, God has already programmed ur cntr+del. Ur time will not pass u by. |
Nice write-up. However, u forgot to add that they are mentally deranged individuals. |
chadef: Things like this shud not be hurridly published, what the police and community shud av don is lay watch for the next dump and arrest whoever comes to dump d bodies, how will d culprit be caught wen all is blown open in the air.Thank God for this reasoning. It beats me how our security operatives find it difficult to keep such information secret and use in apprehending these lunatics, God-cursed snakes in our country. |
Too much of RIP these days! How can these innocent souls we waste in this land rest in peace? Too much bloodshed. Ah! God, pls spare me when You visit this land with your judgement. |
Its a surprise how some people find it something of pleasure insulting and profaning the most revered identity of our Lord Jesus Christ. While I concur that God is patient, I'll advise we refrain from utterances that we'll regret ever making in future. We should not fear man while we disrespect God. For avoidance of doubt, xtianity is not a religion but a way of life. Its not sufficient one bears a xtian name but it identifies one that has character of Christ. Peace and a happy Sunday to all who deserve it. |
This I believe belong to the jokes section. |
Hmmm. Read thru all posts like someone going thru a good, entertaining novel. If one is nt careful, one could come to mistakenly conclude that religion is a curse to man, given fanatical tendencies and proclivity of those who claim to know God more than He probably could claim to know them. To my mind though, I see just two things fuelling this; complex and fear. I am here to preach love, respect and trust. We need to get to a point where we relate with one another in most areas of our live, probably for a start, nt based on ethnic or religious affiliations. It is then we would be able to make progress as a people. |
Hahaha! Am beginning to feel bleeping ourselves as singles is being seen as a lesser sin compared to adultery in the sight of God. Both are sins that we shud abstain from and if we engage in any, we don't have d moral ground to remove the speck in our neighbours' eyes while we go abt boldly with logs in ours. The fact that we are not caught should not embolden us to 'yab' others if we have something called conscience,, that I believe is the import of the story of the woman caught in adultery who was abt to be stoned bt set free by the Lord. What is bad is bad no doubt bt lets be careful in passing d message. |
Learnt few things going thru these posts and what I see daily; 1. most people are self righteous and quick to judge others; 2. people either pretend a lot or just live in denial; 3. A trend where we find it difficult to disagree with others without expressing such using foul words and name calling. I am particularly concerned abt the third one. I can understand that there is so much frustration in the land and a forum like this allows for ventilation. Lets just do it d right way rather than bashing one another which only detracts from what we actually mean to contribute meaningfully. |
They should just take care of those 'omo ale' (bastards) if their culpability is beyond any doubt. Simple! |
Honestly, its a shame what nairaland has turned to! Very unfortunate. |
