Hi Guys, in a situation where u have had your POF in an account for the required 6 months, and u submit your application, is it possible to transfer it to another bank where you are getting a high interest fixed deposit rate? Will it matter? @ednut1 @dimple10 @graciouswords @prettiepearlz |

Gurus in the house, I know this may have been answered but I’ve checked the thread but couldn’t find it. For a single mum who isn’t married and the child’s dad is refusing to sign over custody of the child, what should she do? The dad hasn’t been in the child’s life so she has been financing responsible for the child. Please advise. @graciouswords @ednut1 @dimples |

chiada: It is a problem naaa. You need to notify them of the mistake and request for rectification before your medical results are transmitted.
Biko it matters, request for rectification biko. Medicals have not been done yet o. Just the appointment that has been scheduled. |

Guys, please does it matter if one makes a mistake on passport number while scheduling an appointment for medicals with IOM?? Like instead of 37, you write 36, is that a problem? |

Wow… you really took this personal. So getting married is now securing the bag? Hmmmm NuCypher: You obviously didn’t get the memo that she was to be managed. They pitied her sorry as.s and thought to help her secure a bag, but, being the loser she was, she bungled it anyways. That wasn’t any surprising. These ladies are not known to be the best thinkers, always quick to wallow in imaginary thoughts of “doing him a favor” because they will be filing for him. That’s all well and good. In the future, she had better not blame her woes on men on her lowly subscribed YouTube channel which will remain her sole company to death! |

ednut1: you are not in Canada yet so wont understand. He is talking about those older ladies who are unmarried and those who divorced for flimsy excuses in Canada. They are literally begging small boys for attention ( free sex, free food, free money) etc. the men usually go back home to pick a wife if they cant find here. However many ladies will rather die than go pick a man in Nigeria for fear of being used. Observing the drama from the side lines
When in rome be like the romans. Cats , dogs and plants are what oyinbo use for companionship. Nigerians start double that too lmao So help me understand. They want attention, right? So why not stay with their partners in the first place? This flaws your narrative that they divorced for flimsy reasons. It might seem flimsy to u, but they most likely had concrete reasons for divorce. Fir example, there are people who believe that being with a spouse who abuses you occasionally, isn’t a big deal. Such people will say the abused party left for flimsy reasons. Y’all should let Nigerian women be please. Even if they’re begging for attention, so long as they’re not forcing anyone. After all, the white women u guys are hailing are not any different |

UncleJudax: If you're not one of them happy to die unmarried or don't have a sister, you can't say for sure.
I see them in Brampton..f.ccking small boys and asylum seekers. It is terrible. Big tall women who are supposed to be people's wives. Can u people pick a side? First of all, u say Nigerian ladies are only after guys that earn 6 figures, now they’re following small boys. Which one is it Can’t believe that we have people with this kind of mindset on this thread. |

ok I understand better now. However, u could still give it a shot. See attached. It mentions something about proving that the relationship between the parents is not broken down. I’m just thinking we can brainstorm cos 15 points seems like a lot to leave on the table. Maybe an affidavit saying the certificate is lost, or an LOE saying that they’re married according to native law and custom, then attach photos of the wedding/marriage ceremony, then maybe anniversary celebration photos to prove that they’re still married braine: A sibling directly from my mother's side or father's side would make that sibling my half-sibling.
In this case, we are actually step siblings. My father married his mother, we don't have common parents. So we would need a document that showed the union between both parents and then submitting birth certificates of the two of us showing the names of the respective parents.

I don’t think your parents’ marriage certificate is necessary. What you need is your birth certificates showing u both have same father. Pictures as kids together could also help support this. Also, please confirm if he’s your step-brother or half-brother, cos they’re 2 different things and we tend to use them interchangeably Read up on this. @graciouswords please you coul chime in if you have more info on this. Thanks braine: Birthday is in April. I started losing points since last year on this age issue, I guess I have some more time. Lost 10points so far.
Theres no other way except:
1. Claiming 15 points for my step sibling who has a PR (we can't find marriage certificate that binds his mother and my father).
Your siblings birth certificate should show that you both have same father. That should be enough. Plus maybe pictures you took together as kids, if u have any. I don’t think your parents’ marriage certificate is important
2. Taking French exams for TEF (not an option for me, as may brain cannot carry that right now).
3. Rewiting to max IELTS to get extra 3points for my speaking to raise to 470
I doubt there's anything else apart from these. |

GraciousWords: Profiles expire after 1 year in the pool.
If you get ITA before the 1 year mark and accept it, then you leave the pool and no longer have a profile, instead what you have is the beginning of an application.
If you decline your ITA, you return back to the pool.
If you do nothing, your profile is removed from the pool at expiry of the ITA. Pls read page 1 of the express entry thread where this is explained in detail with links to the relevant IRCC webpage https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled#107239717
For details about when your actual details e.g. CRS, age, IELTS are locked (at ITA or AOR) read FAQ 27, 28 and 29 of page 1 of the Express Entry thread where it is explained in detail, again with links to the relevant IRCC webpage.
All the best! You are the best! Thank you. My profile expires July 12th and we’re anticipating a draw on the 6th. Best to wait and see if I’d be invited to cos of tie breaking rule |
