I wish State governments will help open up more planned estates like these. Even if they don't have money to tar the roads immediately, but putting gutters on both sides and appropriately mark out the plots will go a long way in creating livable spaces in the region.

Please go and see the type of allocation Kano receives yearly from federal government. Do you even know that Kano is almost as populated as Lagos according to Nigerian census.

South east states get the least federal allocations combined.

We cannot develop massive infrastructures with meager budgets. It's impossible.

The only option is to use private funding.

Mehn! I can't thank Obiano enough for doing a solid major hospital in Onitsha!
When we were growing up, i remember more than 5 guys that died because this hospital was a mess. I always prayed if i would have car accident, please God let it be near Nnewi or Enugu so that i can be in a proper public government hospital that can handle emergency.

One of my class mates at CKC who has Asthma attack was rushed to General Hospital Onitsha and he died because they neither had inhaler nor oxygen to treat him. A guy from our compound was rushed there because his blood sugar was high, they didn't have insulin and by the next day when wife went to buy in Pharmacy nearby, he packed up. Two women died in childbirth because they didn't have oxygen and doctors were not in the hospital during their delivery. These are just the people i know personally. Think of many many many others that died needlessly because there were no competent hospital in Onitsha to handle emergencies? We all depended on Menax hospital which barely had equipment to measure blood pressure and set drip.

I am so thankful to Gov Obiano for doing projects that impact on people and save thousands of lives.

I saw the Helipad in the video at minute 18:22 .
I started vigorously opposing Nnamdi Kanu for not researching well before opposing people doing great works for the people, because i initially did not know Obiano had such excellent holistic vision for his people. Most people that ruled Anambra in the past only played to the gallery and did things for show, not building standard hospitals in a place like Onitsha.

The most important is the Onitsha General Hospital to be upgraded ASAP into a Onitsha Specialist Hospital.

Onitsha is the ONLY city of it's size in the WHOLE OF NIGERIA without a Teaching Hospital or Federal Medical Center !
Go and verify this and you will be shocked that it is true!

This issue has adversely affected quality healthcare delivery in the the city and quacks had a field day in the city.

Onitsha desperately needs a hospital the Size of COOUTH, Amaku or NAUTH, Nnewi. Even Enugu and Abakaliki that have both teaching hospitals and Federal medical centers will tell you it's not enough. Talkmore when you don't even have one.
Even Ngige who was a medical doctor did not find anything abnormal that a city of millions of people does not have a proper tertiary health institution to do major surgeries and treat diseases other than malaria and typhoid.

God bless Gov. Willie Obiano for finally building a massive Specialist Hospital in Onitsha for the teaming population of the city residents who have suffered terribly due to lack of quality affordable public hospitals in the city

Although Chino is some mad guy, these people that attack Anambra unnecessarily except of course out of some hidden hatred or envy are the reason Chino often gets out of hand. I am sure he personally knows some Imo or Enugu people that hate Anambra and it simply makes him go ballistic to see any such comments online.

Some Igbo people are too mentally slow that they have failed to see that the region cannot develop as states, but by bold inter state (Sub-regional) projects as railway-line, new power grid network based on coal and gas fired plants and of course encouraging mass production of cheap solar panels, batteries and inverters to make sure houses or businesses even remotest villages can at least have electricity even if it's solar generated.
