TundeBricklayer: In his effort towards the development of the state and strengthening national integration, Governor of Kano State Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has wooed one of the strong African business tycoons, Arthur Eze, to Kano Economic City, being developed in the state. am here to, also, on behalf of the people of Kano State urge you to come and invest in our Kano Economic City project. Which is designed to be of global standard with all the necessary structures trailed by the needed security architecture,” Ganduje told Eze in a meeting in Abuja.
Eze assured that he would come and invest immensely in Kano, being a very peaceful state, with a governor he described as “gentle, humane, reserved and people-minded.”
The history of his sojourn into business world, according to Eze, would not be complete without mentioning Kano, “… I was there also when the late governor of old Kano State, Muhammad Abubakar Rimi was the governor then. I was part of those who engaged in the establishment of the then Kano City Television (CTV).”
According to Eze, coming to Kano to invest was as equal as coming back home, assuring that his investment in the state would also be a significant aspect, as a good reminder of his stay in the state those days.
He then said, “Part of my early years as a businessman, I spent them in Kano. Since when Noman’s Land area was like a forest. I stayed in Kano. And for your information, the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero of blessed memory, was my bosom friend.
“This reminds me of a very striking development you, my Governor, brought to the limelight. That is your recent establishment of four additional First Class Emirates in your state, Kano. I sincerely congratulate you over this all-important development. It is indeed striking and encouraging.” After congratulating the governor over the new Emirates, he then commended him (governor) for making the son of the late Emir, Ado Bayero, as the Emir of Bichi, “… Aminu Ado Bayero’s choice as the First Class Emir of Bichi is indeed a welcome development. It reminds us of his late father, a complete gentleman,” he said.
He used the opportunity to call that, “Being the son of late Emir Ado Bayero is in itself, a blessing from God. I would therefore use this opportunity to call on the Emir of Bichi to copy postures of a gentleman, his late father.” Eze explains further, “We all want you (Emir of Bichi) to always be calm, decent, reserved and gentle. Just like your late father, our good friend. Your Excellency the Governor, let me inform all that, the creation of more Emirates is a very strong move that will increase the participation of the traditional institutions in governance.” In continuation of his remarks, Ganduje praised Eze as one of the fathers of Igbo people across the country, who does many things to strengthen national cohesion and integration between Igbo communities and all other ethnic nationalities in the country. “I am here also to commend you over the good rapport and commendable existing relationship between Kano people and Igbo communities in the state. I am sure you clearly have a roadmap of processes leading to this cordial relationship between Kano people and Igbo communities. We all commend you for your unprecedented inputs,” the governor said. https://businessday.ng/news/article/ganduje-wants-igbo-leading-businessman-to-invest-in-kano/

Nice one!
When will DANGOTE invest in Aba economic city or any project at all in Southeast?
I knew after targeting Enugu airport with bogus propaganda to immorally close it indefinitely, it will be Asaba and then Owerri.
Their true intentions being to stop air travel into the Southeast region so that Fulani herdsmen can be used to murder Igbos along the highways leading to the Southeast.

Isn't she a rich woman?
Why is it now a curse for her to use an expensive bag.
Tah! Commot for here

The problem with Anambra is being allergic to dual carriage roads. Every road must be built tiny and very narrow in Anambra.
Even when other states are unable to build dual carriage rightaway, they reserve the space so the roads can be expanded into dual carriage roads in the future. Reserving space for future road expansion does not even cross the minds of successive governors in Anambra
El rufai is playing a game to trick the south into a false sense of development so that the north continues to massively steal the country's wealth and invest it exclusively in the north
The essence of RUGA is not truly to get grazing land for cattle.
The agenda of RUGA is to use it as a pretext to annex the land of other people and gradually exterminate them while protecting and preserving Fulani territory elsewhere.
drakeli: The article below was forwarded to me, many of us are familiar with the story, however is being retold from a different Fulani onslaught perspective.
" Dear friends, there's a very important piece of history I'll like to share with you which concerns you.
On December 1, 1955, a middle-aged "negro woman" in America, Mrs. Rosa Parks, refused to stand up for a young white man who just entered the segregated bus she was ridding in. If she did, she would have had to stand all through the journey.
At that time, the bus is segregated in most parts of America: white people sit in front rows and black people sit from the back. Blacks would normally pay fare to the driver in the front, then step out of the bus and go through the back door to find a place in an already tight area at the back. If the allocated spaces for blacks are filled, all other blacks joining the bus would have to stand even when the more than half of the bus spaces reserved for whites are empty! Such was the injustice and humiliation that black Americans faced then.
*For refusing to stand up for the young white man, Mrs Rosa Parks was immediately arrested, scheduled for prosecution on Monday December 5. Then the Rev. Martins Luther King and his NAACP comrades stepped in. They called out the people. They spoke about the sad realities of their existence, the terror of an unjust system and barbaric treatments in the hands of fellow Americans*
*In addition to speaking out, these Black Americans decided to take action to protest that injustice by boycotting the segregated buses. The boycott began December 6, 1955*
Dear friends, here is the crux of the matter: Black Americans took action! For 1 year and 16 days, *they trekked to and from work or boarded improvised pooled taxes, everyday*, until the US supreme courts declared segregation unconstitutional!
During the struggle, someone offered one tired black woman a lift in his pool car, but she declined, saying, *"l ain't trekking for myself, but for my children and grandchildren "*!
So, dear friends, whenever we don’t take action and we feel unobligated, unconcerned,* we should simply remember the black Americans and those women. Without them, the freedom that US enjoys today wouldn't have happened, or happened too late. Obama may not have become the President of US.
*So, the questions before all of us now are: Are we slaves to the Fulani people? Are you ready to trek for yourself and your generation yet unborn as the black Americans did? Are we willing to do our own little bits for the cause of good governance and security of our people? Are we ready to act? If today, it is Benue, Kaduna, Taraba, Enugu, etc, which state or community is next? We have complained and grumbled enough. Now is the time to take action*
*Dear friends, there's a general consensus that with effect from July 21st 2019, there should be a total boycott of Fulani cow meat, including suya, kanda (skin), etc. We should discipline our appetite and make this sacrifice now to put an end to the killing of farmers because of cows*
*We can get protein from chicken, goat meat, fish, pork, etc. How can we continue to patronise their business and then they turn around to kill our people and destroy our communities? Enough is enough*
Pls spread this information to people around you. Thank you. God bless.
*I think a ONE YEAR BOYCOTT for a start will send the right signals to this murderous fulani group and their government collaborators. July 21st 2019 commencement date please. Let's keep it a date*
Please spread the news to ALL your contacts. As you are reading this , copy it and forward to others on all your social media
This is a sacrifice southern Nigerians must make.
Boycott Fulani cow meat and begin cow rearing in ranches to show how cows should be reared in ranches not on peoples farms and villages.
Fulani people rarely eat anything grown in southern Nigeria. Nobody should continue the dangerous dependence on Fulanis for cow meat.
Buhari us depending on using Nigerian army to shoot people and forcefully take their land and give to his own fulani people.
The owners of the land will continue to attack Fulanis in that occupied part of their territory including place improvised explosive devices for them until they leave. Buhari will not rule Nigeria forever so the minute he leaves those fulani in that enclave he created will also disappear.
Nobody expects Buhari not to attempt the impossible. However in the end, he xannot artificially create fulani enclaves in hostile areas. There is growing consensus that unless folks stop beating about the bush and fight those fulani herdsmen, they will think only them have license to violence. It will happen soon in Nigeria no doubt about it.
TANID: So sad Pic But You Guys Really Need To Avoid Another War Please Hear The Children crying
I don't think the Biafrans want a war. BUT, the Biafrans MUST prepare for a war. You cannot merely expect a barbarian looting your homeland to give it up just like that. WHY would they give it up without a fight?
My only comment is that Biafrans should NEVER plan a defensive war as they did in 1965. They should plan on an offensive war that solely aim to capture the capital of their adversary.
Biafrans must imbibe the Banyamulenge strategy of Laurent Desire Kabila to take over the capital of your adversary, not waiting in the bush to be surrounded and attacked.
Frankdoz29: Biafra will come without war ― Kanu’s brother
As investigative team visits their father’s destroyed palace By Anayo Okoli YOUNGER brother to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Prince Emmanuel Kanu has assured that the Biafra Republic being championed by his brother would be achieved without any war. BIAFRA MAP According to him, Nnamdi Kanu has engaged in what he called high profile diplomatic talks with notable world leaders and governments across the globe on how to peacefully restore Biafra. Prince Kanu was quoted to have said this yesterday, in Umuahia, when he received in audience a team of investigators from Alliances for Africa who said to be in their attacked family house on a fact-finding mission, said that important world leaders are now lending their full support to the Biafra struggles.
“The current diplomatic efforts by my brother on Biafra restoration are yielding positive results”, Kanu said. He thanked the visiting investigative team for coming to see the level of destruction in his father’s compound following the attack by the military on September 14, 2017, and tasked them on the factual report, just as he expressed hope that the visit would help to secure more international sympathy over the Biafra cause.
Prince Kanu who was said to have conducted the team round the entire palace urged them to publish their findings “without fear or favour”. “I feel very relieved by your visit today. I want the truth to be told so that the world will better understand the level of destruction in our house by the Nigerian military. “Refuse to be bought over by the government and don’t compromise your findings”, Kanu was quoted as saying.
Asked if he expected a different result from the group’s visit considering the fact that many such groups had paid a similar visit to the palace, Kanu said he expected a positive outcome. “We keep hoping that one day the right group will come who will report the destruction here the way it is, and take the Biafra cause to the global platform where humanity will listen to our plights”, he said. In her remarks, the leader of the team, Ms Chidire Anonye, a legal aid with Alliances for Africa, explained that they were in the home of the Kanus to collect raw data on the military invasion for analysis. According to her, the rights group was currently investigating alleged atrocities by state actors in South East states. “We are documenting a project on mass atrocities by state actors in Abia”, she said, pointing out that other members of the team had gone to other states in the zone for a similar task.
“We are investigating killings of IPOB members in Anambra, invasion of communities by herdsmen in Enugu, military barricades in Imo and communal clashes in Ebonyi”, she further explained. She said that after a very objective analysis of the findings, the group may consider a legal option to seek redress. “We have the capacity to take the government to a regional court, ECOWAS court to demand justice if found liable”, she said. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/05/biafra-will-come-without-war-%E2%80%95-kanus-brother/
I hate the statement that we can get freedom without war. Freedom IS NOT FREE! War in itself when you are not an underdog and well supplied isn't exactly a bad option.Unlike in the past when a defensive warfare was planned by Biafra which resulted in it's defeat, in the future it must be totally offensive in approach. More people die today in Nigeria than in many societies under warfare.
Although I am not advocating for war right now, but it MUST be a plan B and preparations for it and it's financing should be part of every consideration and plan for the future. Merely hoping for the best or civil outcome when you are dealing with a barbarian is simply being foolish.
tourplanet84: Inec has a server and the result shows buhari lost.
The Manual result is not statistically possible.
Total accreditation for 2019 election is 29.3 million.
This is not realistic.
In 2015, total accreditation was approximately 30 million and the number of people with PVCs were 56 million.
In 2019, total accreditation can not be below 30 million because PVC holders had increased by over 16 million.
That is 8.31 million in the south and 8.2 million in the north.
Hence the server result which shows that total accreditation is 37.6 million is the real result because of the following reasons;
1. It's statistically realistic.
2. It shows a direct relationship btw increase in pvc collection and increase in voters accreditation and total vote cast.
3. The server result is immune to manipulation.
4. Lastly, the server result shows that nationwide turnout is 50.05% unlike the manual result which shows that nationwide turnout of voters is below 38%.
I hope I have been able to convince you that inec has a server result and atiku's lawyers know what they are doing.
Their petition is the best petition I have seen in my life because it is laced with evidences.
Cheers.
Well, everyone knows Buhari stole Atiku's mandate by sheer brute force of power of incumbency.
It is a question of whether the evil will be allowed to persist or justice will be done. Either way, it will have great consequences on survival of democracy in Nigeria.
ANSMEDIA: Good We need more investments across the state
Oga, Do not be deceived. Nothing good will ever come out of it.
Nothing good can ever come out of the Federal Government of Nigeria institutions. Part of the saving grace for Igbo race is that they learned from a long time to ignore the federal government and fend for itself. The Federal Government will only frustrate and systematically destroy anything that Igbos are naive enough to involve them in. That is the tragedy of the country called Nigeria.
Toronto hospital Onitsha is a den of QUACKS! Since the death of its owner, Dr Walter Eze, it has become an empty shell where people with even malaria die because of lack of qualified staff there.
I wish that hospital is closed down or forced to employ competent doctors. Its so strategically located to receive emergency victims, yet it has NOTHING to work with and it's too poor to employ competent doctors and nurses.
raker300: Anambra has got to be the only state where streets in the village get tarred
Although i get your vibe, but i wouldn't call this place a "village". Ogbunike, Umunya, Ogidi, Oba, Akpaka forest, Nkpor, Nkwelle-ezunaka, Nsugbe and Umueri are now firmly suburbs of Onitsha metropolis. Ofcourse, they were people's villages
Just as our people have developed people's villages in Ogun state such as Ota, Ojokoro, Ifako, Ifo etc and now call those place "suburb" of Lagos.
ChimaAdeoye: If i like i can answer Segun Odegbami. I'm just showing you silly lame yorubas that we can also answer your names and lash at you. I specifically joined Nairaland after i read some cruel anti-Igbo rant by your people arabisola or some eediotic character.
I always ask you silly yorubas that come here trying in vain to whip up anti-Anambra sentiment to look around you. YOU HAVE FAILED! The more your silly divide and rule tactics goes, the more you expose your sorry selves. A typical Anambra person is hardworking, respectful, jovial and a lover of Igbo unity. The more your silly epistles about how Anambra is better than Enugu or Imo or Abia exposes that you are yoruba who have bought into the silly nollywood farce of how boastful they assume Igbo traders are. In your narrow mind, you also assume all Igbo traders are "uneducated" individuals from Anambra, and finally all Anambra people are traders.
Your disastrous misunderstanding of who an Anambra person is and what motivates him, exposes who you truly are. Since your kind are typically jobless and roaming the streets of Lagos in bitterness against the Igbo, go and create extra 2,000 monikers to insult other Igbos to claim that you are from Anambra, it has failed and will continue to fail. Ndi ala!
Oga m, always a pleasure to hear your voice.
Biko ewena iwe. Hapu umu afonja. Their new orgy is to attack other Igbos in their silly desire to cause Igbos to do e-war and supply them with bad pictures that they can be using, since they are either too lazy or too poor to travel.
Except for a few kids, that strategy has totally failed as many of our people simply ignored them and don't even read posts from certain monikers. Many of our people also report some of their comments which leads to its removal and there is this single guy that continues replying to himself with different monikers. Talk about madness. I'm glad our people have got to the extent of ignoring afonjas gimmicks who are here masquerading as Igbos or Anambra citizens. Out of frustration, they now open their own threads that again are roundly ignored.
Biko, don't waste time responding to rodents. They are so bitter and they will continue to be frustrated living in such an evil Nigeria which they helped to create thinking they were doing others.
One good thing Abiola did for Nigeria was to insist on his mandate to the point that the word "annullment" of elections no longer exist in the vocabulary of Nigerian dictators.
Atiku should fight for his stolen mandate until the arbitrary holding of sham elections just to deny the winners their mandate because you control INEC and the military is completely a thing of the past in Nigeria.
Sham elections must stop in Nigeria and arbitrary award of fake numbers at collation centers regardless of the votes at the polling stations must be done away with.
