I think IPOB should reconsider its strategy of unarmed street protests and go the Mandela way of the 1960s.

Just few days ago, it was reported that security operatives have increased the number of their personnel in the South-East and South-South zones of the country as part of measures to prevent a breach of the peace, which may result from the activities of Biafran agitators ahead of the upcoming Anambra State governorship election.

The police also said it was waiting for court pronouncement for the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. Nigerian Government had previously demanded that the Federal High Court in Abuja revoke the bail granted to Kanu.

Now, at least 10 trailers conveying armored tanks and military hardware were seen entering the South East as residents and passersby watched in fear.

According to reports, the security operatives have placed the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, under surveillance to prevent him from fleeing the country should the court revoke his bail and order his re-arrest for allegedly flouting his bail conditions.

There has been a lot of rubbish posted online by anti-Igboists about the fact that 9 of the players that trashed Cameroon were Igbos! They ask mischievously 'why no one is complaining about marginalization'!

Igbo man out there, if they ask you such silly question, just tell them this :

No one is talking marginalization because the players were chosen based on merit not based on tribalism. If it is 9 Tiv players tomorrow, as long as they are chosen through merit not tribalism or hate, Igbos will not complain!

The Igbos are only asking for a level playing ground not preferential treatment.

wink2015:
Plus or Minus, that statement by the Sultan of Sokoto will not change the determination of Biafra to seek secession from Nigeria.

It will not stop the decision of the Niger delta or the south west including the middle melt to seek for RESTRUCTURING of Nigeria.

There is so much injustice in our federalism. The military changed our 1963 constitution and imposed a military one that clearly created this imbalances.

As Nigeria continue on the part of democracy our current federalism must be restructured.

It must not be restructured to the terms of the Northerners who are completely opposed to RESTRUCTURING.

At least we should go back to the post independence constitution of 1963 which gave powers to the regions.

Any attempt to resist that process as Buhari is currently behaving will lead to seccession such as BIAFRA, ODUDUWA, BENDEL REPUBLIC, NIGER DELTA REPUBLIC ETC
bro,
You made a lot of valid points, but don't expect Buhari or an average Fulani to accept a just society in Nigeria. They will rather try to maintain injustice trying to use DSS to make sure their enemies aren't arming and then completely Northernize the Nigerian military.

the silliness in their tactics is that they have a false sense of security in coercive force while everyone knows what they are doing while they don't know what others are doing until perhaps its too late.

Some of us appealed to Buhari to release Nnamdi kanu before they make him a legend by unfairly holding him in illegal DSS detentions against court orders. They refused, the result is that nnamdi Kanu is a bigger legend than before they arrested him. if Nnamdi kanu had called for sit at home or a rally in 2015, he will perhaps get 50 or 100 people to attend if he is lucky. Today, Buhari has legitimized him as an authentic leader out of Buhari's mindset that every thing must be solved through coercive force and imprisonment.

Today, people are calling for restructuring, but fulanis block it because they believe they control the army. A time will come that Fulanis will beg for restructuring but it will be too little too late to save Nigeria.

I am appealing to those southerners in northern Nigeria especially the Igbos to save themselves now that there is time and leave the place ASAP.
They should not cry when the day of reckoning comes. I hope they understand they are being told to remain in the north because the northerners see them as a pawn in their game of violence. Their blood will be spilled when it pleases northerners to make a political statement with violence. The choice is theirs to make.

I understand what you say and it is very probable , I liked you post. But then when you think about it a serious govt interested in preventing sectarian violence would have had ample time to prepare and put measures in place to nip any occurence in the bud within hours.
If PMB is still on seat and in the country by the time of 1st Oct then there won't be too much to worry about , but if an imperialist stooge such as Osinbajo or Saraki is in power, then the violence would be allowed to occur , but the question is would there be any safe part of the country to run to especially if the agenda is to break up the country by setting the whole country alight.

Politics › Re: What Will Happen If There Is No Election In Anambra State by Cjrane2: 10:28pm On Jul 20, 2017
OIL is the only thing that makes the Fulani oppress the Biafran.

OIL is the only thing that makes those that makes Fulani to want Biafrans in the same country, but as slaves not fellow citizens.

If you cut OIL flow from Biafra land, people oppressing Biafrans will pay close attention to the complaints of injustices.

All the agitating groups in Biafra land must unite to stop the pumping of OIL from Biafra land. That is the ONLY way to get justice in Nigeria.

Every other measure taken while you allow oil to continue flowing is a mere cosmetic measure that won't change anything.
Politics › Re: Anambra Election: Militants Back Nnamdi Kanu On Boycott by Cjrane2: 8:35pm On Jul 20, 2017
OIL is the reason why the south is in bondage today.

Stop OIL flow and the vultures will learn to leave the southerners alone.

Both IPOB and Militants must come together and drastically do something about the continued pumping out of Biafran oil resources by those who desperately hate Biafrans.

What is Kwankwanso doing in my hometown? He should please leave no before his people think it's okay to go and rape and kill my people.

I have said this and continue to say it, Nigeria will continue making fun of us as long as we allow them free oil from our land.

The only way to for those being cheated in Nigeria to get fairness is to stop the party.
The oil flow must stop until a new Nigeria is negotiated. It is imperative for all the agitating groups to pull forces together and ensure an end to oil output from their areas. Then you will see Nigeria suddenly become a great country flowing with justice and brotherhood.

Therefore, it is imperative for all the freedoms fighters especially in the south to unite and stop the oil flow

A war could start in Nigeria too from the determination of some core Fulanis to forcefully enslave the south.

Ask your self why the oppressors want Nigeria so badly = OIL
How are they able to pay out saboteurs and scuttle any real discussion among Nigerians? = OIL money

The ONLY way to avoid a war in Nigeria is for southerners to unite and begin to gradually reduce oil production until it gets to a level that Nigerians are ready to sit down and talk on how to live together.

Politics › Re: Southern Kaduna Cries Out To Nnamdi Kanu by Cjrane2: 9:57pm On Jul 18, 2017
Nnamdi Kanu already extended a hand of fellowship to middle belt and northern minorities. he made it clear that it was not a matter he alone could decided who is accepted or not. Although he would personally prefer a Biafra with Igala,Idoma and other willing ethnicity. unlike Nigeria, everyone will have a right to join and leave in the future through a referendum if they so desired.

nnamdi Kanu even said if the name "Biafra" was inappropriate for such ne nation, we could select an appropriate name perhaps "Benuegeria" he joked.

He also said it was not something he alone could decide who could be admitted as all the ethnic nationalities already part of Biafra will collectively agree to accept new communities into the new nation.

The leaders of southern kaduna should liaise with leaders in Plateau, Benue, and Kogi to decide how they can join as a block. Biafra is the final home for all the oppressed and dispossessed peoples of Nigeria.

It will be capital intensive but truly it is the best way to attain food sufficiency in SE n SS.
it is not as capital intensive as buying a shop in Alaba market or main market Onitsha. i know because i see what young people go through just to get a shop. I always wonder how they can raise such money just to buy a shop!

My prayer is that our people realize that one can make more money from agriculture than paying 22 million just for a shop at Alaba. Not to mention how much it will cost them to buy the goods to sell in those shops. Which may all be destroyed within one year by the LASG in the name of urban renewal!

Building a fish farm worth N22 million naira or investing that in a poultry and pork farm will earn the investor solid returns. You can smoke the fish or the meat to help you preserve them. Then package them in nice plastic bags and have petty traders come pick up everyday from you. The best part is that you can do it in your own backyard and you are not afraid of customs, Police and all the issues business men deal with. Animal husbandry is the way to go, just that our people simply like to copy. if someone became rich selling slippers, everybody wants to immediately copy and sell it. Nobody tries to innovate or copy rich northerners who are silent billionaires supplying smoked fish across West africa.

Fulanis insisted on that constitution as a condition to be united with southerners in ine country. It guaranteed their right to govern themselves and manage their resources without domination of the FG.

As soon as they now dominated the FG they threw out the constitution and replaced it with a unitary constitution we use today which put every imaginable powers in the hands of the FG. So they can dominate other nationalities in the Nigeria project hiding behind the massive powers allocated to the FG.

This post illustrates everything wrong with Nigeria. A part of Nigeria just dwell on lies and continue to tell lies and try to manipulate people and everyone to keep quiet and let them continue to loot the country.

Some people just cook up fake numbers because we have a system where the resources of the Niger Delta is forcefully taken from them and shared. Thus the need for bogus data for some people to transfer the wealth of Niger Deltans to themselves using all sorts of falsehoods.

We must have true federalism in Nigeria whether Fulani likes it or not. The blatant stealing and lies is just too much.

They are bunch of rented agberos and people from a certain part of the north being sentimental that Burutai is their son, and so...

However, if Burutai has a clear concience, he has nothing to fear. Renting crowds is a waste of time because if they protest or not. No amount of protest will prevent the court from hearing the case.

If he can prove he didn't commit the crimes, no amount of protests against him can convict him. USA is not Nigeria where a criminal is set free because he can buy protesters.

So, Burutai better go and answer for his crimes against humanity and stop playing silly games renting jobless youths.

From: FRED ITUA, Abuja

More than one month after issuing a quit notice to Nigerians of Igbo extraction to leave the North before the October 1, 2017, Arewa youths, have again, called on the United Nations (UN) to pronounce Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as a terrorist organisation.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, on Thursday, the Arewa youths, who converged under the aegis of Coalition of Northern Groups, also called on the UN to intervene, by initiating processes for a peaceful referendum, saying that it was the only option to finally settle the Biafran issue.

In a letter addressed to the UN and dated 12th of July, 2017, the groups said since the end of the Nigerian Civil War, Igbo have intermittently continued to taunt and rebel against other parts of the country, by demanding to secede and form an independent country.

Have you ever considered the traffic volumes of Asaba-Onitsha-Enugu-Abakaliki-Ogoja link roads? or Enugu-Aba-PH link roads?
That imposter has a hidden agenda. Don't be fooled by their Igbo sounding names. They are abooki or Afonjas stock in trade to answer "Ojukwu's son" or O"Obi of Onitsha" or some silly name to thinly disguise their hateful comments and anti-Igbo agenda.

They are so pained by the thought of any viable infrastructure in the SE or SS so that they economic strangulation will be effective. That is why i wholeheartedly support nnamdi Kanu for his clear insight in what they are doing to suffocate us and his determination to speak out against them.

Remember how they fought viciously against any attempt at internationalization of Enugu airport. They have since continued to deny other airlines who wanted to come to Enugu any access to make sure it's only one airline at Enugu. Meanwhile in Kano, they are giving airlines already in Lagos and Abuja landing rights, even if they go there once a week! The same people argued against Onitsha seaport, Asaba airport, against ONNE deep sea port project., Against the Port Harcourt -Maiduguri railway line that it is not viable, Against deep sea port at Ibaka or Calabar that it's not viable. Not to mention other historic things they did such as moving the steel industry originally slated for Onitsha to Ajaokuta and moving the refused to construct Imo airport even when the federal executive council then approved the construction of an airport in Yola and Owerri, then only two 19 state capitals without airports.

So, you should expect them to furiously resist anything that will develop Igboland such as airports privatization, extension of railway lines to our key cities to relieve our dependence on the horrible federal roads in movement of goods and services within the zone and the building of refineries, power plants or modernization of agriculture. They are out to frustrate us and use fake propaganda of "Non-viability" which is not backed by any credible data anywhere. Keep deluding yourself about Nnamdi Kanu. We support him because he has the guts to speak truth. After him, there will be many others that will speak up against Fulani oppression. We won't continue taking the abuse any longer in nigeria.
