Before I would respond to your dumb question you must equally agree that all those wayward pastors and priests who indulge in the following are also Christians practising the doctrines of Christianity:

1. asking their congregations to suck their penis, eat grass, drink kerosene, handle poisonous rattle snakes etc.

Yes, pastors have done those things you have mentioned and even worse and they will probably do more. The difference my brother is that Christians condemn these pastors and even post their atrocities here on nairaland and when u read comments from xtians on these pastor's atrocities you don't see comments like 'these are not Christians', wht u see is total condemnation of the acts.
On the other hand, Muslims are usually quick to say BH are not Muslims, ISIS are not Muslims. And there was a nostalgic attempts by the so called 'true Muslims' to twist the narrative to make Nigerians believe that some BH members caught were Christians especially at the early stages of the insurgency.
Now let's assume BH are not Muslims and are profaning Islam. We have seen hundreds of people lynched and killed in the North just for allegedly saying non complimentary stuff about Islam and/or its Prophet, now why has that passion for Islam up north not seen total destruction of the group by the youth who are quick to behead a Christian who blasphems against Islam.

Many Urhobo clans never fancied monarchies. What was in vogue was gerontocracy or otherwise quipped as ekpako r'Urhobo oyin Ivie r'Urhobo (Urhobo elders are Urhobo Kings). We also had a few cases of plutocracy.

Taking care of a king was expensive and tasking and so the Urhobos of old were not interested in setting up kingdoms. They were satisfied with the wisdom of the elders in arbitration and administration.

It was in the colonial period that many of the so-called kingdoms were created due to the British policy of indirect rule. The British wanted a direct leader that they could use for their own good and so they mandated all the Urhobo polities to set up kingdoms. That is why some of these kingdoms are fairly new.

However, there are exceptions to the foregoing. Some historical monarchies, heriditary even, exist in Urhoboland. The Ughelli Kingdom can trace their heriditary monarchy to the very first king that reigned when they arrived their present location (and they have had more than 10 kings). Same goes for Okpe, Agbarha, Olomu, and others. Historians are yet to publish many works on the history of these kingdoms and that is why they seem not to have a long line of kings. But rest assured that if you look for them, you will find them. Urhobo kingship was never about subjugation or conquest as obtained in many other polities. It was primarily for arbitration, consultation and other ritualistic functions. The Ivie
never sought to increase their territories or wage wars. They were mainly charismatic figures who garnered respect.

Finally, stop making sweeping generalisations on monarchies in an ethnic group. You have to research thoroughly and consult the people before you assume anything. Some groups, probably due to early contacts with the Europeans, have documented kings but others did not have such luck but that is not to say kings did not exist in those polities. Luckily for us, many Urhobo scholars are researching into our past and many more findings will be made.

what u wrote are mostly speculations. Oral traditions are usually strong in Africa and most historical kingdoms in Africa hv rich oral histories. The Urhobos on the other hand are weak in this regard. No rich oral history to be enjoyed by the people and visitors. I am saying this because I grew up among Urhobos and in Urhobo land. Now as a grown up I think to myself, why didn't I ever hear of a great historical Urhobo figure like a great king or warrior. I'm not trying to be anti-urhobo(actually I can't be) but there are a lot of questions begging for answers

I have come to the conclusion that the Urhobo people at the start of colonization were a group of people, not well organized, possibly constantly migrating and primeval, lacking an organized system of govt(this u alluded to) and maybe subject of another group most likely the Benin Kingdom. Correct me where I'm wrong

@Bolded, let me help you out. there is no Urhobo kingdom that Is not at least 600-400years old , agbon Kingdom for example has produced up to 7-10 kings and I can get the names for you if you so wish.

7-10 kings would equal not more than 100yrs. That's a very short period indeed.

He is one of the most important kings in Urhoboland and he controls one of the largest kingdoms. Most of what we know as present day Warri is under his domain. His kingdom is also 100% urbanised, making Uvwie a center of Urhobo civilisation.

He is royalty personified! A true scion and advocate of Urhobo!

I grew up in Uvwie but I'm surprised that the Uvwie and indeed the Urhobo people do not talk about their history to as far back as 200yrs ago. Since u r a proud Urhobo son, my question to u is, do the Urhobo people have a long history, why don't we have an urhobo kingdom(exception is Okpe kingdom) with up to 10 kings in their history

Recently, the polpular televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn confessed that he took the prosperity gospel too far and that what he taught was not in sync with the Bible. He further went on to reveal that as time went on he came to realize that he was wrong.
when I read his thoughts here on nairaland what immediately came to my mind was those that he has influenced by his teachings over the years, people that include big time Pastors like our own Pastor Oyakhilome who has gone on to help spread Mr Hinn's falsehood to millions. As a teenager in the university, I had the opportunity to attend a believer love world's fellowship (the school fellowship of Pastor Chris' Christ Embassy) meeting. What they taught at that fellowship was to me shallow, a prosperity centered version of Christianity, Christianity without the cross. It was Benny Hinn speaking through them.
Now what happens to all those who have modelled their lives according to the teachings of Pastor Hinn. That is where the danger of pentecostal churches based on one man ideology lies. Their belief may change and their followers will realize they have been living a lie.

Mina are the only ones in the house that wants to learn and improve, others are just too puffed up. They feel they know it all and are good the way they are. We all saw T boss grow on last year's show, from a person who didn't know much and couldn't do much to the star of of the show. They were nominating her and Nigerians who loved despite her flaws believed in her and kept voting for her. I wasn't a fan of her's but she made utmost use of those saves and improved herself to much that I became amazed. She actually became a good actor curtsey of the show. Mina might not know much but if given the chance will surely learn a whole lot. They are humble and are learning. Even Ifu yesterday during the rask did acknowledge miracles contributions to their task presentation. No one deserves to be written off.
