But before I buy fuel to my car I always wait for reserve light to show and when it does that, I will enter filling station I buy 5k fuel at 160 per litre. So I just want to use it to calculate the fuel consumption

You're doing about 2.6 miles per liter, roughly 10 mpg.

It's very poor, I do more than double the miles on same fuel.

No you fill the tank, drive for maybe a week and ask them to fill the tank again.

Check the mileage difference and how many litres they put in.

I usually prefer doing full tank (when the dispenser clicks once) to full tank.

It's more accurate the reserve light can have a mind of its own.

Do some research on cars like the Bugatti Veyron/Chiron. For the Continental GT, you need to take the engine out for most repairs. For some Ferraris, you need to take the engine out just for an oil change.

For me, mechanical issues are not the problem.

Electrical issues are the major reason some persons do not own some Volkswagen models.

But does it start when you turn on ignition?

Car paint fades and oxidises over time so if you paint only a few panels (doesn't matter if you mix with computer or stick) there would definitely be a difference between the new and old (a decade or more) paint.

& that's why I mentioned the paint code because that's a constant.

Well, paint code is not the issue. It is the current colour of my vehicle which I want to repaint. It is 6R6 as pointed out. I just need a good paint mixing system to mix it right. So any recommendations? I have painted the bumpers and one door in the past but the colours did not blend properly making my car look odd. Now I want to repaint the entire car

To and from work for me is about 13 miles a day,

An hour of charge adds 32 miles meaning I can use it for 2 days after charging for an hour.

You should include your average speed. So someone who drives at 8mph due to traffic and does 12mpg will not start thinking his vehicle consumes fuel when he sees his type of vehicle doing 15mpg not knowing that
vehicle covers 12mph.

Any comparison without average speed in my opinion is dead on arrival.

The gears keep the engine at an almost constant rpm when driving so except you accelerate hard all the time I feel fuel supply would be almost constant.


I'd start keeping records (hardly have the time or remember to ) and compare over time.

Get something more recent or even brand new you can afford it.

And old car would always have wear and tear.

Used mine for 12 years from brand new before I gave it out (reluctantly) some months back

No check Engine light, spent far less on the car (fuel & maintenance) than my corolla counterparts
