Killerbag36: Okowa it's very wicked been in government for 8 years refused to give employment to the youth in delta state all he does was to sit in govt house nd write name of children of his clans men nd giving them employment secretly imagine ooo na governor be e think say we no de see na so so agbor people e de employ nd give promotion since for 8 years in civil servant ministry no worry come win mk we see.
Nigerian youths should know that the government cannot employ everybody. Even if they do, most of the employees will be dormant at their place of employment/) or underemployed. Government have the responsibility to create an enabling environment where private sectors can thrive to employ the unemployed.
The kind security in Anambra now is shocking. Well-done Soludo
Ugwuanyi over to you.
I still maintain...... collective effort by government officials in the south east is the last solution
If Soludo succeeded then Enugu governor should consult him Those unknown gunmen are criminals and should be dealt with like criminals. What crime has the policeman committed. He has loved ones and his life was just cut short like that
DrChukki: That's is what happens in a state when people make their choice of governor but Supreme Court and INEC imposed another man to them.
That's same way Nigeria will be swept if after we're done making Peter Obi our choice, INEC or Supreme Court will impose one dullard to us. God Forbid...
I pray she's found alive... Amen
Was Ihedioha even their choice? Or did Ihedioha not rig during the last election? I've heard from people that his emergence is due to Rochas plan to impose his son-in-law as the next governor, not that Ihedioha is any different from other old corrupt politicians. They said Ihedioha has also been in the National Assembly since 1999 , and was even at a time the deputy speaker (Number 4 citizen of the country), but can he show any relevant structure or development he attracted to the people he represented? Imo State should not be deceived by allowing those politicians that have not performed in their previous office to clinch the State power. Let them vote for an honest and visionary leader
Assetinvestor: Arkwrite replied him diplomatically but within him, he knows that Sowore is a dunce for asking such stupid and irrelevant question. Dude has been frustrated that Nigerians didn't join him but has joined Obi in rallying for revolution.
sulaak: What is stopping the South-South from developing their ports? Lagos is building a second port in Lekki. The SS have four ports that are under-utilised (Onne, Calabar, Warri and PH) and the potential
The issue of Lagos overpopulation has nothing to do with ports but safety and opportunities.
Lagos is a safe city, there is security in numbers, Large population mean more business opportunities. Insecurity and underdevelopment is driving Nigerians to Lagos, the is an unsustainable development model.
Federal government project you mean?
You need the license and authority for port operation. Customs, NPA, etc. will be moved to ports. It is not just a state government task.
ThinkSmarter: Lagos is overpopulated. Nigeria have to intensify on Urban renewal. Implement Urban and regional planning in every town/city in order to phase out existing shanties, ghettos and slumps and prevent the spring up of new ones in the future. The government should encourage low-cost housing estates for the low income earners. And provide the necessary facilities like market, school, hospitals, recreational facilities for them Government may not build all the houses. But should do the planning for uniformity, organisation and cleanliness.
There are somethings that should be decentralised and not only in Lagos. E.g., the ports. South South should be able to receive as much vessels as in Lagos. And not only limited to very few goods.
What a way to pass a message . . For thise who may not understand it... Other Nigerian tribes are tired to exist together, but the Northerners still want one Nigeria and will only gibe them branches of the tree, but not grant them access to the tree.
treesun: Thanks to Mama Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello! Thank God Sanwoolu is back to his saet after following Ojuyobo up and down like SSA!
Ok I noticed where they said the accreditation is only for 2 years, thereafter they will be back for re-accreditation
It may not be an issue with reaccrediting even with a duration less than the duration of most courses (4 years) But if these professors etc. from NUC are paid (aside their salaries and travel allowances) for each of the accreditation visits by the University and brown envelopes are exchanged, then they are as bad as the present incompetent government in the country.
APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu visits Rochas Okorocha at his Abuja house in company of Ganduje and others without an Igbo man in the team seeking his support for 2023 Poll
The former Presidential Aspirant who scored zero vote at the convention said so much on why APC Flag bearer Tinubu should carry Igbos along ahead of his campaign and his administration if he emerges.

AlexReports: Beauty Queen, Sarah Akaazua Distributes 12,000 Sanitary Pads In Benue, Abuja Schools
To enhance menstrual hygiene of the girl child, a beauty queen and winner of Face of Tiv international has distributed no fewer than 12,000 sanitary pads to girls in selected secondary schools in Benue and Abuja.
The outreach tagged, 'Pad Up The Girl Child' is part of her pet projects as a reigning beauty queen.
Akaazua also at the outreach educated the young girls on steps to take in maintaining menstrual hygiene while observing their flow.
She observed that the inability to maintain hygiene during menstruation among the women has exposed them to chronic diseases which has affected their ability to give birth.
According to her, the health of the girl child is significant to wealth and growth of the nation's economy, calling on government, individuals and organisations to lend support to enhance the health of the girl child.
She also decried the high cost of sanitary pads which has left so many girls with no choice but using unhygienic means to manage their menstrual flow.
At the outreach supported by Molped, the benefitting students could not hide their joy as they showered praises on the beauty queen and her team.
If Tinubu had lost the primaries you would have pushed ahead with your false narrative.
Buhari may have... But he's not a smart person. Tinubu played a vital role for him to become president
This is like an exam malpracticein Nigeria... some will use 'expo' enter exam hall without studying, yet fail or manage to get the 50%. Another will prepare an 'extensive expo', and also study by himself... when result comes out, he will top the class
PS: This is in no way supporting exam malpractice which has rendered some Nigerian students redundant and lazy towards their academic pursuits
noble71: Good people produce good leaders while corrupt people produce corrupt leaders. Poverty of the mind is the greatest poverty ever!
There's a point in what he said
I mean those collecting 5k or 25k dollar or bribes are not 'poor' in the Nigerian context. They can feed themselves 3 times a day, and probably have good shelter. The mindset of Nigerians need to change fir a better country.
ManOfSon: He wouldn't be playing at Watford that's often flirting with relegation if he was good enough. I've never rated him. But that seems to be where we are at the moment. There's not enough quality in the team.
But in a country with a population of over 200million where football is their no. 1 sport, quality and talented players shouldn't be a problem. Unless the system to get into the team is very corrupt or require serious lobbying (bribing)
I once argued there's nothing stopping Nigeria from getting many Olympic gold medals if the sport's leadership want
ManOfSon: Nigeria trying to win a football game with William Troost Ekong & Francis Uzoho is more like Arsenal trying to win the premiership with Granit Xhaka!
It seems he's overrated for Super Eagles. I think the defence is an area that can easily be filled by home-based players ( best without falsified ages)
