They way billions now come out easily from the government reflects the economic state of the nation today compared to decades ago when it was indeef 'heavy' to pronounce 'billion'
As for the feeling of the police vehicles, you don't need to have access to any money. Just assign specific litres of petrol for the vehicles from NNPC Gas stations or affiliated stations, in the case of rural areas. The annual litres spent on the police will be converted to money and deducted from the company's tax.
WOW!!! This is my original idea.
I hope I will get into power someday, so Nigerians can see what true leadership is.

What does it take to grow onions.
Farmers here can enlighten. Because if it continues this way, people will start planting onions in their gardens. Or is it not same onions that grow even without planted in the soil? |
Food › Re: See The N200 Onions I Bought This Evening In Port Harcourt by Cmanforall: 11:01pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
saaphiere: lala I thought they said the reason for onions being expensive was because EndSARS protesters blocked roads preventing drivers from bringing goods from the North? If this is not an artificial scarcity by traders, then I pity any farmer hoarding onions in the North. How do they want to store it (with the epileptic power supply)? The Southern businessmen have not just remembered that line. |

xcellentgraphic: So nobody from south that can lead this organisation.....abi Buhari is opening the eyes of southerners. Goodluck Jonathan was there and appointed Jega, a northerner, and had the intention of going for a 2nd term. I think with what is going on in this administration, INEC chairman will now be coming from same region as the president. The northerners should not complain when it starts happening. Worst they can do will be to create more conflict in their region to tarnish the governmentin power. But they won't reason they will be killing their own people. |

Education › Re: Ogun Institute Students Protest Death Of Schoolmate Rejected By School Clinic by Cmanforall: 12:11am On Nov 05, 2020 |
PhiliptheArab: University clinics are funded from the university's budget.
The problem is, most universities are badly funded to begin with. That's a big part of what ASUU has been fighting for...for increased funding for universities as a whole...not just lecturer salaries.
But with an education budget of less than a trillion naira....when South Africa has seven times that for their education budget..and they charge higher fees for their uiversites into the bargain, what did you expect.? No doubt, the educational system needs more funding. But the question that may linger is - will it be used appropriately? And it might also affect school/university fees. I don't know how much it costs to study in South Africa, as you highlighted, but I hope it's conversion will be bearable for parents to pay in Nigeria. Again, the universities should be well funded and the funds should be judiciously utilized. |

Education › Re: Ogun Institute Students Protest Death Of Schoolmate Rejected By School Clinic by Cmanforall: 9:36pm On Nov 04, 2020 |
PhiliptheArab: At this point, we can only speculate...since we don't have his medical history.
1.Possible injuries include a head injury, fractures to any bones, or even internal bleed from ruptured major boood vessels.
2.School clinics can only render first aid, then refer to a higher hospital.
3.If the gent had a fracture...especially skull fracture....that's an injury that is best treated in a TEACHING HOSPITAL....or similar level hospital. Wiith a consultant orthopedic doctor...and even a consultant neurosurgeon on standby. Not at a school clinic.
Infact, if the guy had multiple fractures.....and I was the school clinic nurse on duty, I won't even touch the patient...not if I want to keep my licensse to practice. Refer, refer.
The fact that the guy was knocked down is enough to assume there would most likely be some major injury. In such a case...refer, refer to the nearest biig tertiary hospital...where investigations can be done [s] 4.As for clinic not having fuel...see why ASUU and ASUP go on strike. See why some of us can't stand corruption[/s].? University clinic has nothing to do with ASUU strike actions. ASUU= Academic Staff Union of Universities. It is for academic staff, while Clinic staff are non-academic. |

Freestainworld: Why they rejected him is what we should try and find out, but our hospitals are not trying shaa Good question. Inadequate facilities ? No doctors ? (Since the minister asked them to go into farming) Critical case and was referred? (And it's called rejection ) I just hope it has not got to this stage where hospitals blantly REJECT patients. Nigerians abroad will live in such an apartment and pay their bills peacefully. The Nigerian government renting a place and possible using the place as residence, yet can't foot the bills is a DISGRACE ! Are the staff not paid? If the building is also used as residence to any of the staff or the ambassador, let him also pay some of the rents. Onyema should bring forth the rent charges. Let Nigerians see the figure. |
