CuteRedd: it really baffles me the level of sensitivity even on a faceless forum. I have been going through his posts. BRACELUM speaks nothing but the truth. The only challenge is that people don't like to hear and accept the truth. Bracelum if you are reading this, you are not the problem and do not for one minute beat yourself up. |

Education › Re: University Admission Offer Vs Nigeria Air Force Recruitment Offer by Cocao(f): 9:00pm On Mar 16, 2019 |
MaziOmenuko: I see a lot of peeps advising you to chose being an airman than getting an adequate education. After serving 25yrs as an airforce recruit, a newly commissioned officer with a degree certificate will still rank above you. I don't know why people have this primitive mentality of grabbing anything that comes their way because the cowards are afraid of tomorrow. If you are above 23yrs, you can enroll into the airforce, if not, enroll into the school and get educated. Education is not just about getting work; it sets you up and equips you for the life journey ahead.
Just know that if you enroll into airforce now, their is a limit to what you can achieve in the future. your promotion is capped at a certain limit. With an adequate education, you can soar higher than what you are dreaming of right now. Don't be myopic. Mazi you have spoken well. |

hwfwl: Hello Beautiful people,. After 1 year plus as a pharmacist and I have been trying to apply for admissions in the US for either master's degree or PhD I haven't gotten any. It is always close. GRE 305 TOEFL 102. I APPLIED TO KANSAS UNIVERSITY FOR PHD MOLECULAR BIOSCIENCE and just 2 weeks ago they replied me that I am on their waiting list and that they are waiting for some of those they gave admissions to reply back. They won't tell me how sure is it for me to get the admissions or even when. And so I have decided to come here for my answers.
My questions are 1. How sure am I to get the admissions of the waitlist 2. When could that be? 3. Should I just face the other master's degree admissions because my agents after much pressure from me has started admissions in Arkansas Tech for emergency management. I am starting to think something is wrong somewhere, for close to two years with a PharmD and fair test scores I still can't get admission. Don't you think you are being a little risk averse applying to only one school? It's important to spread your application across different schools of different ranking so as to avoid plenty of stories. You can still seek out schools that are still within deadline and apply there while waiting for your choice. |

BLUEJAYY: Succinctly put.
I call such men weak men, because they've let their emotions override their rationality thereby leaving them vulnerable to manipulation. Those are obviously not the real men. They have let their d^cks decide their destiny. |
Romance › Re: Spending On Girls: My Little Advice To Guys by Cocao(f): 9:54am On Mar 02, 2019 |
Men are the cause of their own misery. I don't know how men are created that all they think about when it comes to girls is beauty and sex. Because they are powerless to these two things you see them doing stupid unthinkable things. How exactly do you think a girl that means well for you will let you spend do much knowing you don't have so much without asking questions.
A girl that truly means well for you will question how much you have now, want to know how you can secure your future and how both of you will smile later. She is willing to forgo several things and practice delayed gratification so that you can both smile later. It doesn't mean that you won't spend but spending have level. If you cannot vacation in Dubia, you can vacation in Ghana or Togo or both, it all depends on what you want. If you cannot go to fancy restaurants there are cheaper ones that you can manage. If you cannot buy 100k hairs, there are 5-10k hairs that you can still look good on. If you cannot shop in fancy boutiques, there are nice affordable clothes all over Instagram. Everything has its level and good things can never ever stop existing.
But men are mostly stupid and blinded by beauty and sex. If you are such, you deserve whatever comes to you until you learn how to not be p^ssy whipped all the time. |

Do u think you can manipulate women without the right tools to do so? This guy lost his job, doesn't provide enough. The wife does more for the home.
Be realistic.
Have u seen the movie 50 shades of Gray?
So u think the Mr. Grey would have been able to have so much control over his woman without being so wealthy and trip her with all the good things of the world? Emm...some of the things he said was a little extreme, but in all, he has a great point. Note that there is no 100% gurantee on anmything but that should work for a lot of cases. If you noticed, his point, a majority of it does not really require lots of money. Its about mannerism and the way one should act. It is VERY necessary for a man to be able to provide for his family but that is not all. The little things matter! |

Please write an EXTENSIVE personal statement addressing:
Why are your reasons for attending graduate school (e.g. why have you selected this path, what major goals do you see graduate school connected to/influencing in your life)?
Why do you feel you should be granted an assistantship?
As part of your experience as a GA, are there any specific skills or abilities that you would like to learn / develop (e.g. statistics, speaking skills)?
What deficits / weaknesses do you feel you currently have that may be related to your position as a GA?

In terms of educational expertise, what areas of interest are you most interested in? What plans do you have to grow in this area? This is pretty much explicit. The school is giving you express expo already. If you cannot write beautifully, employ someone who will. Long story short, tear this up! |

I want to understand with them. Any financial institution will feel reluctant to declare their financial statements when they are consistently declring a loss. Its not easy to lose but rules must be adhered to. You wont see them making noise here o. But if PSquare quarrels they will come and start shouting. |

Honestly, labour laws in this country is deplorable. Everyday someone is complaining about one useless boss or the other. Nigerian employers feel that because they have given you a job they have given you life. Not everyone wants to own a business, some just want to work in an environment that will appreciate their efforts. Ha! |

It is easy to make decisions today and forget that a time will come when all we will need is family.
That's why after every every, it is good for a man/woman to settle down and create strong family ties...
Because after chasing all the money and making it, you will need someone to spend it on or leave it for.
Don't wait too long. |

So much emphasis on how women should or should not behave.
Nobody is telling our men how to behave. That is why we keep seeing men that lack basic decorum and self-respect at the sight of anything remotely attractive.
We need to raise our men again because I have seen men lose basic sense at the mention or sight of a woman This is an error that must be corrected. |

Sex is just the beginning of an actual relationship. I have zero respect for a man that sex can hold down like this. These are the type of men that the poster is talking about and in that case, we are definitely not going to be sharing an ex. Sex is VERY important, but a true relationship transcends more than just sex. |
