3.5 over what? you have 3.4 over what? There are two grade systems, the one we use in Nigeria and the one the US uses. You can use WES conversion to convert to the 4.0 scale

With Access Bank, request that the statement be printed specifically in a portal meant for printing bank statements. It helps to reduce the time spent on confirming the authenticity of the statement. Dunno about other banks. That's probably what the account officer meant.

The reason why a lot of people find it difficult to truly settle abroad is that they came with the wrong intentions. You get a tourist visa, then purposefully fall out of status and start running helter-skelter because you can't rest. Why would you want to do that to yourself?

Alternatively, you can get a study visa if you put your mind to it, become a professional and the country will be willing to offer you a place to stay. There are various options available for that. You can go through plenty of scholarships available and from there sort yourself. You just need to be ready for the opportunity. Let your sponsor give you the funds or hustle it, write standardized tests, make Google your friend and you will surely see something that fits.

Take all the documents that will establish you as a genuine candidate. And your intention to return.

While I'd advise you to say no when you can, those kids though, they did nothing to deserve the wrong decisions made by their parents.

Wow... They need to outsource the department to the same people that handle UNN transcript requests. So prompt and easy to use. Now they also offer softcopy transcripts emailed from the school's official email at a very much subsidized price.

UNN may not have gotten everything right but they sure try for this one

Collecting collaterals will not work for all classes of loans. Collaterals in this case is also very dicey.

Moreover, CBN also debited banks for not giving out enough loans recently. I think in this light CBN should protect the banks' position by giving them this right.

Forget about reasons, reasons are as cheap as water for these corporate organizations. If he is one important personality, they would have opened the account immediately after the Letter Of Administration. Do you know what the LOA means concerning the estate of a deceased person? Whoever has the LOA in possession has the exclusive authority to administer such estate, unless someone else is challenging the LOA by filing for a Caveat.

I know what LOA means very well. There are other process related issues why an estate account may not be opened. That is why I want tot know why, so we can know the advise to give her.

Yes I submitted the LOA and Death Certificate to the bank, filled the form for the said account. They even said that they have done the search to confirm the authenticity of those documents and found them to be true copies. But the reason they have refused to open that account is what I don't know.

You cannot come out and say you do not know the reasons they gave you. That is the only way you can get help. Go back and listen to the reasons why the account has not been opened. Update your post here and we can advise accordingly. Your post is very vague and misleading.
