Well the OP is obviously looking for who to annoy so don't let it be you. though there are still foolish people everywhere, I don't think there are those who are still foolish enough demand to be served food while being knelt down to. Not even from their housemaids let alone wives. Nor do we have wives who have nothing better better to do than kneel down to serve food breakfast lunch and dinner. Odiegwu. What you see here is his imagination waking up from sleep after a long while being dormant. Read the bolded. I can tell you he doesn't even have a girlfriend much less one that kneels down to serve him food and apologizes immediately if she forgets. donpata: I knw i will be bashed. Still yet, i no sen. Someone reminded me that this is 21st century; of coz, it is. Thats y marriages struggle to last this days. These are little spices that add beauty to marriages.. My girl does it and the day she 4gets, d kind eye i go look her go make her apologize sharply. Trust me, it's fun. I never meant she shld hit her knee on d ground but just bend am low a bit. many bashing me grew to c their mums doing it. Guys bashing me, una miss Road Askseek: The thing can be annoying, someone will be living in peace with her husband and an agent of the devil will come from nowhere to pour sand in the garri the person is enjoying because the way they live their lives does not meet this imaginary standard they have created. I truly don't blame them. I wonder where they find women with zero self esteem that pander to all their needs without getting anything back beyond "I paid your bride price". |

But why is it that people who are holding cap in their hands for favour always want to lord it over others? It's like the more humble your station in life is, the more you feel the need to stand on top of someone's head so you can feel better about yourself. Truly King of the Lions in Ajegunle mentality.
I have a feeling this OP was fuming inwardly that the piece of meat in the meal his uncle's wife gave him was not "befitting", so he also noticed her "disrespect" as well. Hey I have copyright to that line @ bold Pay me |

40k job all the way in the east? They didn't tell her the salary before she moved or what? Honestly she could have found a 40k job in Lagos if she wanted to (I think). Which makes me believe she's more interested in the adventure of living away from you. When she comes back, pls try to get to the root of the matter. Why is the woman who was willing to leave a better job with perks to be with her family now suddenly running from that family for another job with almost no compensation?
Like someone said, you need to be more involved in your wife's life. It's almost as if you guys don't communicate. |

Are you also jealous of your sister-in-law? He cooks, he washes her clothes and that makes you angry. You're waiting for an opportunity to vibrate. SMH Now I can confidently say gender discrimination is fully enforced by women on other women. Why not Carry your goody-two-shoes self and go find your man. Also make sure you divorce him if he attempts to cook, clean or shop for your household. glossy6: I noticed similar thing in my brother's house. Cooks after coming from market, washes beans for moi moi, washes clottfor a non working wife (house wife). I decided to have my peace since he has not complained to me.
At times they do it for the sake of peace in their home. Watch them & don't interfere yet until you have a genuine reason to vibrate like the day the opportunity came for me.
The worst be say once these women call their husband "honey" they start behaving abnormally. Papa Emeka no fit try am now. Nna na there you go see African man level. |

Okechukwu speak for yourself please. Poseidon000: [size=13pt][b] He can do it when she is not chanced or fit to take care of the home.
There was a time my mama fell sick and was rushed to the hospital. My dad took charge of our home. He cooked bathed us and did everything my mama did for us. That's why he is a helper. but has soon has my mama came back, he assumed his initial responsibility.
all males in my home are barred from entering kitchen, just lyk it is our responsibility to take on the hard work. We only visit kitchen on the day of our cooking class.
This is africa. It is totally out of place for a man to go to the kitchen when there is woman in the house, especially when he didn't prepare the food.
It is also totally out of place for a wife to send her husband on arrand lyk house boy. infact, It is a taboo and only "sissy dolts" tolerate that.
It is understandable when she is a nursing mother or sick. So by deduction from Op's post. She has all reason to be worried. This is an african setting, not western. Anybody who expect western ways from africans, should port to the west.
We don't digest bullshitt over here!

I can't speak for guys. But I believe in not generalizing. Some men can forgive such but may not be vocal about it because they don't want to be called weak. While some women who can't forgive will be the first to push others to forgive. Mostly it's all about preconceived notions of what should or shouldn't be for no tangible reason other than that's how it used to be in the past. |

Animals that suffer very painful death release a lot of stress hormones into their blood and surrounding tissues which isn't good for us to consume. |

Oh please shut up. Do you support the death penalty for buhari too since his utterances has lead to the death of people in the past especially innocent youth Corp members. I can't believe you're stylishly supporting this evil. Tufiakwa. A7: By extension opinion of his wife/wives, children, students[if there's any], an inclination he hopefully strive to see metamorphosize.
This "ridiculous mindset" you called opinion coupled with other vile vituperations happen to be the root cause of the insurgency that snatched lives, properties and peace of many unfortunate countrymen.
How certain are you and how could you convince any right thinking person that breeding docile idle minded individuals will not lead to hoodlum spring?
He opted to view another person[inyass] as God and also considered himself a God, that is not a concern to Muslims, he might as well worship a cow or tree WE muslims will just assume there are afflictions ravaging his being.
But the moment he claims he is still a Muslim and that's Islam he's practicing, Muslims have every right to step in, ascertain and give a verdict viz a viz the gravity of his action/inaction.
Well, an objective person if asked to commend or condemn the Muslims in Kano regarding this incident will undoubtedly praise their action unequivocably, if indeed what you allege about emotional outburst is true, the man in question and anyone he have a cordial relation with will be dead by now, consumed by jungle justice.
This country is not a joke, I agree there are tons of nut jobs e.g abdul inyass who use to profess he's a deity of some sort and could fulfill every humanoid dream including dashing every form/kind of knowledge at will to people after ridiculing seekers of education, who consciously try to steal people's peace swapping it with tension, hardship, grief and death.
Even more nitwittedly bound are the pathetic primitive lunatics aiding and abetting his evil facade masking it with tales about "opinions and freedom of speech".
This duo of inconsistent and senseless bunch represents everything against amiable peaceful coexistence and common good... One of those days I wish they are fed to the guillotine. |

Awww. Thanks a lot. This made my morning. God bless you too Gracious10: @cococandy Thank you so much. I have silently followed all your mouth watering dishes and it helped me through out my pregnancy. Since I don't have energy to cook neither did I have much appetite, I found a way to slay cravings. I would wake up 2,3 am just to check out the latest food u made. I would look at it and the cravings would stop. Since my husband can't cook, he would equally salivate with me. Getting african food where I am is just difficult since we live hours away from the city so I make do with what I have.
This is to appreciate you for the sumptuous meals u prepared and was kind enough to share the pictures. The presentation of those meals had me on food presentation 101. Had my baby a week a go and the cravings stopped but I have come to say thank you cos you saved a life, we'll 2 lives.....lol. Dalu. Chukwu gozie gi.
