imagine what? Exactly! Your type sha.
So if I give you 10k now that's how you'll open a thread to insult me because I didn't pay everything you owe at once.

Don't worry one day you'll have surplus. It's only a matter of time.
You'll be in the position to help others. And how'll see how it feels if the little you do is unappreciated.

my real mum, just say something else please, Dont jus go there you not in my shoes and have never been, and right now? No mum will do this to her son. She didn't bother paying those bills when they were in bits, I was a fool to think she had somethin worked out now that its all piled up.
Oh shut up please.

Family › Re: when your helper turns her back- advice please by cococandy(f): 11:57pm On Jan 12, 2016
If you want her to treat you like her own child, treat her like your own mom.
You can't expect her to foot 100% of your bills yet you're here complaining about doing dishes for her and working for her.
If your mom was supporting you 100%, would you even question any chores she tells you to do?
BTW you're not a child anymore. If you can find something on the side to support yourself while you're rounding up your schooling, it will be beneficial to you.
I worked while in school even though I had parents that provided for me. The little I made on the side helped me a lot. At 24 you're not a baby anymore.I can't imagine why you need to be told to hustle seeing that in your case, someone who's not your direct parent is the one responsible for you.
Pls don't have that entitlement mentality. She owes you nothing. And I'm sure has her own family responsibilities too.

You don't have to get an 'office' job (good if you find one). If you can't, look for jobs in fast foods around you, gas stations, supermarkets etc. Anything that can give you small income and you can do part time so you have time for your project too. Good thing you're done with classes everyday.

Let's clap for you. undecided

You went with the intention of looking for prostitutes to warm your bed for the night and have the guts to be offended that a pair of ladies found it appalling that you'd assume they would be willing to go home with you just like that. So Because they went to the club to dance, that means they are open to go home with any stranger for the night abi?

Your head needs to be screwed on tighter.

I think the ones in the U.S. behave themselves a bit more (fear of U.S. Customs and Migration). But I'm sure there must be broken bottles flying around Maryland, Atlanta and Houston.
probably right.
sometimes I joke with with my childhood friend who lives in Houston that I'd like to move to there so I can have more Nigerians (her especially) around me and feel more at home.

But she keeps telling me to remain where I am. Because according to her Houston is the jungle-ish.
Like when the drama starts it's usually on another level. Who slept with who's wife/husband and whose asooke+jewelry cost more at the last party. grin

Na NL stories na. Always one-sided. He won't say what he did to contribute to the guy's attitude towards him.

He Probably looks down on the BIL as an 'unbeliever' which could be the reason the dude is rubbing the status of his tenancy in his face.

You know how some 'believers' can be condescending to people of different un/belief.
ronald4lif:
I was surprised to read that part and almost lose interest reading the complete post but somehow I did and had in mind to ask same question. I'm much interested as to how his belief is an issue.

And to further display his religious intolerance attitude and give his spurious claims a lift he said he listens to corrupt songs. Also interested in knowing what he considers corrupt songs.
Family › Re: My Brother In Law (sister's Husby) Is Becoming Too Rude For My Liking... by cococandy(f): 2:02am On Jan 12, 2016
Oga Get your own place. That's the one solution.

There's really nothing you can do about it except ignore the dishes when he uses them.
He can't drag you into the kitchen to wash them.
If it gets to that point where both of you have to verbally or physically enter a scuffle over what chores you should do, you don't need a prophet to tell you to leave the next day.

And why is his religious life your problem? It's his life so leave him to it.

Lol. Trust me I like to read the stories but I really hate witnessing one. The last one I witnessed when I visited London the last time at Dalston market was just awful.
I don't think I'd like to witness one either.

So if these people hate the igbos this much as I can see from the comments on this thread, why are you hurt when they bring up the topic of segregation?
What kind of confusion is this?

This dude sha. Why are you always full of crap? And you say it with so much authority too.

So you need 20yrs before you decide if you love someone. Like you can't love and lose the love within a fraction of that time.
Does it need to last forever before it can be defined as love?

Both of them should never debate on this forum.
You can say later
"I saw your post on so so topic. what do you mean self" grin

But not on here. Before bad belle people taking sides will manage to drive a wedge into something that should have just been an ordinary debate/argument.

And of course never let anyone know what his moniker is. Never ever

Cococandy, let me add lifetime movies too. Work, movies and working out. What ever is missing from lacking outside friends, exercise eases it off grin. Hubby and I are really close too. We moved all the time...so hard to make and keep friends anyway.
It is good to have human connection and then one or two inner friends if possible.

You're kinda like me.
If I have Netflix, I'm very fine grin.
The small outing that I sometimes go on is because my hubby insists.

In fact I've come to realize that mine is a lil bit excessive.
I just need one Nigerian girl( born and bred in naija) in my life right now. And it will be balanced.

I was hung on channel O till I discovered sharwama Republic, you don try ukwu Mango rice?? Their stew dey full with world class kpomo, thick and "munchous'. You can cook ofe akwu with those their bottled content, I doubt if that is 100% from palm fruits. I hate Ukwa and oha soup angry.
Okay I'll try those place too.
At least any taxi driver will know those places.
I don't want to make the ofeakwu here because I can't find Fresh scent leaf. It won't taste the same without that.

I can't believe you hate Ukwa and oha soup? Who does that? cheesy
