Since he can cook and cooks better, plus he has a more flexible job, why is he making his life more difficult by insisting she cooks because he's the man? See as people make their lives difficult because they want to live by the dictates of the society.

He should cook when he can and when he can't let her know he can't.

I won't totally blame the wife. If she been the type that used to do all that before marriage and the changed after marriage, then I'd blame her. Everyone should endeavor to marry those who share their views on marriage. Not marry them and try to bend them into what you feel they should be. Recipe for friction.

For all the guy knows, she may have married him because of his skills in the kitchen.
That's why you don't marry someone and hope they change overnight.

What they need is compromise.
Both of them should meet each other half way.

Since the wife is here as you said, I suggest she stops dragging her feet because he's always doing it. She should sit up and try too. Nobody appreciates being left to do it all. She should stop taking it for granted.

Same thing is happening in IMO state now.
Their saint Rochas is now the lucifer.

Well we can see what kind of change it is.

I remrmberd being abused and vilified in Osogbo then for saying Aregbesola is the biggest scam of the decade and runs a propagandist govt..
dad has not collect pension since last year October..
I'm from osun state, but I don't care right now,let them suffer from their mistake, let them cry, osun state people deserve no pity for putting the state in this mess ,atleast this is d change they want.
I remember a close old man telling me he prefers the worst of Aregbe to the best of omisore...i was shocked.
last time I saw him,he was crying like a kid in the kindagarteen,he is very sick and can't buy drugs and his children can not help much because they are also osun civil servants..
hopefully the people of osun are wiser now than b4 when they allow propaganda emotions to overcome them.

If buhari is serious about corruption, this should be the angle he tackles fervently not going witch-hunting GEJ and his cabinet.

Imagine Rochas. APC governor who supported buhari's campaign all through the way owing health workers over 7 months of salary and threatening to sack them if they don't continue working.

What impunity and wickedness is that?

It will never be well with him, his lineage and anyone who under party loyalties can't see the lopsidedness and evil being given a free hand because they believe the president is from their party.

How many of them are owing workers and even with the bailout money (free money they didn't earn) they still refuse to pay. Yet they are walking around freely and chanting change.

Romance › Re: Is It A Man's World ? by cococandy(f): 5:30am On Sep 12, 2015
In summary, all the corners of the world need a feminist revolution.
coldHeat:
It truly is a man's world. I say this as an answer to the OP. Structures have been put in place to consciously elevate the male gender above the female, and this has been on for thousands of years. Several reasons have been given, but most of them tend to see the women folk as either helpless, stupid, senseless and weak beings or as prized possessions to be given away via marriage, conquest or sport. It is even worse in some cultures and countries as some women are less important than actual personal belongings to some men. To say it is mentally insulting is to say the least.

But this structure was not placed overnight or over-century; women have somehow been brainwashed to believe they are inferior to their male counterparts. They are told most times they have nothing much to offer the world save their beauty and their body.

The sad thing about a lie is if you keep hearing it again and again and again (in a packaged way, handed down to you by your ancestors and society) you will find yourself believing it. The minds of women have been corrupted with this false mindset; that they are irrelevant in the grander scheme of ruling and controlling this world.

Even in cinema you see a guy who saves the world and gets a beautiful babe handed to him at the end of the film (almost like she's a gift for his troubles), they kiss and the movie ends. We grow up watching such, believing every man is a hero of importance and every woman is helpless, unable to save herself and even the world from the fangs of corruption. Lets not even talk about adverts where women are used to advertise cars like if a man buys a car he will get a lady free, like seriously?!?

But what can be done to stop this trend?

Firstly women need to be more self-aware. They need to understand themselves, know themselves and come to terms with their bodies, their emotions, their self-esteem and their existence.

They need to believe in themselves and not allow themselves or their purpose be dictated by society (which may just be a bunch of ignoramus over-aged children clinging desperately to their supposed 'way of life'). Women need to stop objectifying themselves and selling themselves cheap. A lady shaking her bum to a whizkid's video for 10k can never expect to be respected by the same guys that she shamelessly sells her dignity to (in a bid to make ends meet).

Women also need to invest more in their brains, they need to task their minds more and invest less on their bodies (which can never ever truly win the war they hopelessly wage against the phenomenon we call "aging (which is a woman's greatest enemy)". They should study more, reason more and gossip less, also spend less time in things that stimulate an epileptic state of emotional excitation.

A woman who can only spend all she has to have a beautiful face to match her empty head can never be taken seriously.

It is only when women show men they can academically do everything their male counterparts can and be on par with them as per intelligence, self-control and maturity, that the men can then decide to be less of the children they are and share the reins of global and societal control and governing.

But this may not happen overnight, it may take time, perhaps decades, but if women sell themselves well (beauty fused with intelligence, like a good product needs no hard sell) the men will have no choice but to acknowledge their power and give them a chance.

This is already happening in countries like England, Germany and Liberia (to say it is already happening here in naija goes without saying)

ahnie:
because most men are born to cheat.its in dia Dna.i'ope i am not soundin like a feminist?
No you're not.

Men being born to cheat and their wives putting up with bullshyt, grinding n bearing and following the steps in all these orisirisi lists to win back someone who has no respect for them is more non-feminist ideology than feminist.

It is more feminist to believe that not all men are bad hence no need to die in a relationship where your respect as a person is non existent whereas you can get such from some other good man elsewhere.

But do you know the funny part of it her ego and pride with her low brain caused it all. I warned her that this man is fake, she did not hear. But the latest twist is that she sent me an sms an hour ago denying being the one behind the post with her pic and no as she said she is being impersonated. You can call her to confirm this if you wish. What wonders me is that she will not pick her phone and sms and apology because she offended me and is due to lack of apology from her that we are here and it makes me not to play along and her ego is not match able.

WTF? You share that ideology?
@bold. Yes.

Although it doesn't mean that anyone should support bad behavior.

But saying to snub or not greet someone because of something and they did, gives the impression that one thinks they are morally better.

If you have a personal stake in the matter and your feelings are hurt, then it's a different thing.

But if not, don't carry their sin on your head.

What?
What?

If people stopped talking to you and stopped greeting because of your own perceived horrible attitude, how would you feel? Abi you think you don't have any habits that anyone can complain about?

You're basically saying to snub anyone you heard did one bad thing or the other. BTW it will always be hearsay as you weren't there when they did it. And even if you were, won't make a difference.

Or worse still confront someone about something that's none of your business.
Like a neighbor whom you heard cheats on his wife. And wifey didn't come complaining to you.
You want to confront the man and tell him you heard through the gossip mills that he's been cheating?
Someone that's not your brother or friend.

Hian. People have died for less reasons o.
