First of all, Abortions should be legal and stigma free. There shouldn’t be any need for “letting the cat out of the bag” because someone had an abortion. That’s stupid.
That being said, seems that lady was using abortions as a means of birth control which should be a no no. There are risks that she could have avoided with proper birth control. This is a result of lack of necessary education and information. |

Mmm okay. You’re not wrong that each situation is different. However, in most situations spending 65% of your income on rent alone (550 is 65% of 840) and having to be supported by your sibling with additional 100% of your income so that you don’t run into money problems means some financial decision needs to corrected somewhere. In this case, the rent seems like what needs to be corrected. That being said, he doesn’t have to do what I said. It’s just an opinion duchaB: No, Sister Coco..u shouldn't just come up with this without getting all the facts and full details first..
Do you imagine she don't already know about this or the Sister enjoys doleing out monies like that.. Come on now_! |

Ebonijay: My sister in Houston just sent me N550,000 for rent. I work in a tax office where the salary is 70k monthly. She has really tried for me, I also got an iphone 7. She sents 70k monthly to augment my salary so at least money won't be a problem. Move to a cheaper apartment. With 70k income, you need to cut your coat accordingly. All that extra money she’s putting in your landlord’s pocket could have been better spent on investment for you. This is the same advice I’d give any relative of mine in your shoes. Unless she’s ready to keep sending you money forever instead of helping you get on your own two feet. |

Does UK people, dem be akagum eshin national theater Maybe he’s confirming the price of the fake ones for you? Have you ever thought of that? And why are you price-checking what he gives you? This is why I’d rather send money than spend so much on authentic stuff and send it to Nigeria only for someone to value it as a cheap something because of all the fake items that’s flooding the Nigerian markets. And the consumers don’t even know. |

Mmm. Okay. I mean if we also count emotional needs as the type of need you’re talking about, then her staying with him because of love is also another form of her needing him. So she’s really staying because she needs him emotionally. When you love someone, you need them for your emotional life to be balanced. In this case, there’s no differentiating the two. Mariangeles: I don't think men would agree with the bolded. If I were a guy, I'd be thrown off balance. Mariangeles: In my opinion, Need covers everything. Emotional most especially. Financial need is even the least important. |

What if the soup is bad too? I have this not-Nigerian friend (bless her sweet gentle heart) she always makes me egusi when I visit because I’m Nigerian and by default must love egusi (which I do) but not how she makes it. I don’t know how to tell her to stop :She’s soo sweet. pocohantas: Lol, very true. I do that a lot. Just throw them into the stew and fetch them by next eating. Even among Nigerians ehn, cooking spicy stew requires expertise.
I have also had my fair share of this really awful stew. So once I am out, I rather swallow than eat rice- even on “dates”. |
Family › Re: As A Husband, How Would This Statement Make You Feel? by cococandy(f): 9:21pm On Mar 08, 2020 |
It depends on if it’s true or not.
As the husband who’s married to the woman, he should know how their relationship stands. What they benefit from each other and what they stand to loose individually if they are no longer together. So, if the wife makes such a statement and the husband can obviously determine that it’s a lie, then I don’t think he will be pleased with it.
However if she truly doesn’t need him but is with him because she loves him, I’m sure he doesn’t need for her to say it. He will already know it.
In summary it’s a good statement that shouldn’t make anyone feel bad unless they know for a fact that the person saying it is lying. |

Nigerian spicy stew will save any type of bad meat. I emphasize on Nigerian because a Cameroonian lady tried to make stew for me one time. I’m speechless to describe how awfully wrong it tasted. pocohantas: I can’t even explain the taste. I plan to throw it into my stew.

I too like food sha. That’s why all food lovers should know how to cook. Because who will cook different varieties for you to sample all the time? 1) appetizer: crab cake, avocado sauce 2)entree: fillet of Turbot (fish), broccoli, potatoes 3)dessert: chocolate mousse Also, don’t eat everything at the same time. Space it out and practice portion control

Then he needs to be clear that it won’t lead to marriage so she can tell if she want a to continue with him or not. They all lie and pretend so that the ladies will stick with only them while they keep playing around BLEMOSEDU: There is this question that has always been on my mind about relationships between the sexes, why do Nigerian girls think once a man is in relationship with them it must lead to marriage? And once the relationship starts they will start counting years etc. Must it always lead to marriage? Can't they just enjoy the moment? With the way divorce has skyrocketed in recent times, one wonders why these relationships are always all about marriage for most ladies. I'm just asking ni o Before people crucify me. |

Please, I will appreciate if any guy in Abuja will be willing to host me for 3 days
I will also appreciate it if any guy/lady here in Abuja can allow me use their oven/baking utensils for my assignments. This will relieve me of some things and it will mean the world to me.
