I would marry a 40 year old man if I liked him enough. And I'm not even 28 yet. It's a matter of personal preference. I can't deal with immature guys. It's draining. Petty games. And the whining. Argh. I'm sure you know no one can specifically tell you who to choose. Think about which of them will make a better husband and father. If they both make the cut, You could roll a dice or flip a coin or something #kidding. But choose wisely. |

Shut your trap LoveDecay: Women are becoming duller everyday... so if I kill a person you'd do the same.
Because, he cheated. You feel the responsible thing to do is to cheat as well knowing fully well this will cast doubt on the legitimacy of all your offsprings - as is happening at the moment to this women in this case. |

I can understand frustration and the need to vent. But to the extent of burning another human being alive is something I will never be able to wrap my head around. Onegai: I don't agree in theory with Jungle Justice nothing works in Nigeria, especially when you are dealing with someone uncivilised. Someone taken to the Police station will be bailed by the leader of his gang and come back to mess you up. Bariga, Somolu side is a mess and yet the Police cannot fish out the cult members killing themselves (even though they live in their midst). A lady hit my car at night, instead of her to settle amicably, drove me to the Police station and started speaking Hausa to them (she is not a Northerner) to sway them into charging me with something and scaring me off. They started insisting only I write a statement and were ready for trouble. Until I showed them my madness and I knew what was right legally. Then the police insisted on seeing the owner of the car that night and told my mum "your daughter has a bad mouth", meanwhile the lady had gone from accusing me of attempted kidnapping (I shi.t you not) to sitting down mutely. When my mum came around, she started deploying "Christian Mother" technique and my mum and sibling were forced to drop the matter. If I had a big stick covered with nails and a chain in my car (like I used to plan on having ), I would have broken her windscreen in retaliation. Because the NPF that was supposed to be objective took a side before I had opened my mouth. Same with a friend who came to see me: an okada guy ran into his car (checking out some girl in tights crossing the street, all the men were). He started laughing but to his amazement, the okadaman picked himself and accused my friend of hitting him (how can a stationary car at a traffic light hit you??). Other okada men surrounded him and started beating him up, he had to run inside a nearby building to hide. The NPF did absolutely nothing and only started showing concern when his dad and military boys showed up. His father told him "next time, have a gun or a whip in the car" (man was a military man). Had he been taken to the Police station, he would have had to pay bail for a crime he didn't commit, right under the sign that says "bail is free". We live in a jungle, sometimes you do not have the luxury of being civilised all the time. No matter how much you want it. |

People have been fighting me on nairaland since yesterday for talking against jungle justice. I can't even say how scary it is that some one who interacts with me here is capable of such or would support it. Who's safe then? tearoses: Hi Coco The whole system is fkudup excuse my french people take law into their own hands because the police don't do anything Ive heard of victims reporting to the police and they get locked up instead
Something needs to be done about this jungle justice because one day it could come to our doorsteps and God forbid an innocent person gets killed or injured people will also begin to settle scores by shouting thief at their "enemies" and straight away a tyre gets put on that person and that's the end of that persons life....... no questions asked & no one held responsible.
I've read conflicting stories about this case some say be is a boy who stole gari some say he is a phone thief who multiple stabbed a woman with a dagger and who is currently fighting for her life in Hospital regardless of what he is, he should have been handed over to the police
The value of a human life in Nigeria is very low |

Kimoni: Don't even look too far...she asked him in one of those chats up there, "you have had your own extramarital affairs, did I question you about their families? I forgave you and moved on, why are you not doing same". And of course, he was silent when she brought that up.
@topic: No justification for what she has done, but he has no moral right to question her loyalty. And who knows how many babies he has also aborted during his numerous affairs?
My only question for the wife and all those who do revenge relationship is - Why another married man? Must you also destroy another woman's home? And why make babies only to murder them? Even school children cannot claim not to know about protection.
This couple deserve themselves IMO. They should both spend eternity in the same cell. God help their kids. Yes their kids. It's sad. That's how they will end up living with relatives who may or may not treat them right. |

While legally married to someone is there a term called trespassing in such case? Whether one lives at sokoto, and d other at jalingo, i dont see one going to d other's house irrespective of d time as trespass. My 2 cents. If you're separated even though the marriage has not been dissolved, it is trespassing to go to the other person's house without invite. And I read someone say it was at 1:00am. I didn't even know that before. What might the man be looking for in her home at 1:00am (if it's true) My conclusion is that they are both telling their own sides of the story. We need the complete truth |

Thanks you guys. As much as I hate domestic violence, I think false accusations are worse. Does she have witnesses to the assault? Or is it a he said/ she said thing. If she lied about him not supporting the kids, even if he broke her leg, without witnesses, it will be hard for people to believe her. Onegai: He broke her leg. She's currently on crutches. The case got charged to court. His place of work was pressured to sack him. She took his gist to the bloggers as a deadbeat dad. He's defending.
Very boring Assault case. I've heard of much more interesting cases, nothing like a man dying and multiple kids and multiple wives. They can bring their babalawo to court 5minsmadness: They broke up following irreconcilable differences i.e she had an affair and got pregnant. He works in zenith. She works as a businesswoman. She lives in a posh area of lagos state. Rent is through the roof. Xomplained that the man abandoned her and the kids i.e child support and stuff. However she is making good money from her buisness. Man ignored her complaints. Sge claims that one day sge was coming out of her gate when the man attacked her and broke both her legs with a hammer and walked off. Has been demanding compensation. He has been quiet She approached a well respected lawyer who is very passionate about domestic violence. He was outraged by her story and took the case as one of senseless domestic violence. He put pressure on his workplace(zenith bank) He got sacked. Now he is responding. Says he never broke her legs. Her lover did it by mistake while trying to hit him. Says she had affairs and has veen bringing out proof. Says he has been paying for the kids(which she refuted) and has brought out proof. You can read the rest. You're up to speed. |

emperorchedda: Now put yourself in this scenario: You are from a poor and wretched home, your mum is a widow and barely has enough to feed you and your four siblings twice a day. One day you and your sibling fall ill and your mum needs to raise about 2k for treatment, considering the fact she's extremely poor 2k is a very large sum for her, so she begs a very strict friend for money to start up a petty trade of garri, he gives her a very strict time frame to pay back, she starts the busineess and only makes about 1k profit in a week, she plans to do the business for two weeks in order to get enough money to treat your sibling and yourself, one day a young man zooms into the market and makes way with her tray of garri (this is where the money for your health and even the capital is) claiming he was hungry, the next day your sibling dies because your mum couldn't raise money to take her to the hospital, now it's your turn get treated or you die. Fortunately your mum sees the thief in the market few days later (this is the thief indirectly responsible for the murder of your sibling and might even rob again and indirectly murders you this time), what will you do to him? Don't lie that you will hand him over to the incompetent Nigeria Police because he will just get a bail of 5k and carry on with his theft after few weeks. If you remember the implications of his actions in your life and that of other who he may indirectly kill again you will be VERY HAPPY to watch him burn to death. Don't blame jungle justice, blame the security system of Nigeria that can't punish a criminal in a way he won't ever go back to crime, if this keeps happening people will RIGHTLY keep taking laws into their own hands, no one here is barbaric until you step into their shoes you only know yourself. Not others. Don't freaking lump me in with barbarians. I am not one. And I'll never be happy to see my feeling human being burned alive. You don't know me. You don't know if I have been in a similar scenario like you just painted. Stop it. |

The person who stabbed your brother was evil. So are the ordinary citizens who might have helped save him but decided no to. You are all cut from the same cloth. That's why you're able to kill people like this, justify the killing and refuse to help the dying soul in an emergency. Wicked humans. |

Kind and Godly Nigerians.
7 year old. You people have murdered sleep. Rancor will never depart from your lives. All of you will die miserable deaths. There will be no peace for you even in the afterlife.
The person that he stole the garri from, now that he's dead, your garri has come back hasn't it? That little quantity he stole was going to stop you from becoming rich. Well now he's dead your wealth is on the way right?.
The people watching and making a movie out of it. You're just as culpable, I'd rather die than stand by and what a child a go through this. How desensitized have you all become?
You go to church every Sunday and mosques every Friday but your hearts are full of wickedness and cruelty. You sit on your holy moral high horses and pass judgment on others for their 'sins'. You're disgusting.
How will we progress as a country? Tell me how. I know that there are bad people all over the world so it's not strange to see a quirky character kill someone else, abuse a child or do some other horrible thing to his fellow human being.
But we are among the few nations where everyday citizens who see themselves as normal people will gather in the streets in road daylight, kill another citizen in the name of justice and then proceed with our daily activities like nothing just happened. It's a curse if you people don't know. You're cursed
The blood of this boy will never depart from your lives. |

Lennycool: The fear of witchcraft is directly linked to the general education of the populous. The more educated the population of an area is the less witches they perceive and vice versa. Africans think they are the ones that started witch hunting. But the truth is compared to the Europeans we were all learners, yes the white people once believed strongly in witchcraft. The Malleus Maleficarum translated as The hammer of witches is arguably the most damning text in all of literature. Written in 1486 by Catholic Inquisitors, it prescribed how to kill, torture and identify witches. And for almost 200 years it was the best selling book second only to the Bible. The book with sponsorship from the Pope killed tens of thousands of women accused of witchcraft. But today people in Europe are smarter and no one talks of witches again. Why? Education my friends is a mind opener. |

he has reasons for shouting at u, if u can't detect the actual reason, play round it... That's why am giving u tips.
Possible reasons why he shouts at you... I used myself as an example.
Again... Some men don't like to be slowed down., They like it wen dey say ABCDE and u continued ..FGHI..
Only smart ladies can cope..
Another way is to always assist him not to be late. Wake him, help him pick what he may forget, .
Help him to be faster at anything
... Am not saying you shud not do your own, but be involved in his own , at least for this time, please
...... Dont see it as selfishness on his own side... Or slavery on ur side. JUST DO IT , u will get amazing result.. You will ask for A, he will give you AAAAAAAA, he will notice it easily wen u re not happy, he ll listen to you and change completely.
