So her elders ones let her carry such responsibilities. Not nice.

Trust nairalanders with their views and ''yabbings. There are some assumptions you guys are making that are not correct. It takes courage to post a topic like this and want people to learn from your own mistake,if people will do anyway. I am sure some of you shouting ungrateful will say I am bragging if I said I have done this or that for her, but does that one change her status no. A poster claim the topic is gender bias well sorry for that but from experience women are more emotional and being tempt to take up such responsibilities, for instance my sister is the fourth born. Note the only reason while I post this topic is just for people to learn and that is all

Family › Re: Should Wayward Wives Be Prosecuted By Law? by cococandy(f): 8:48am On Nov 13, 2016
The same law that prosecutes a man for marrying another wife will still married is also applied to women who marries another man while still married.

You're proposing a law for people who cheat? That will be fun. How many men will be untouched by such laws? Or you're proposing that such laws be applied only to women? On a long thing. You are.

I don't think I had to explain that.

Thanks for saving me the trouble kiss
EfemenaXY:
True.

But Cococandy is also pointing out that @op's biased judgement of his sister's past actions are based on her HIV status.

Sex is not the only way to get HIV. She could have led a "clean" life and done things morally right and above board and still gotten it. One the other hand she could have lived her life the opposite way (prostitution, drugs, etc) and not gotten it. Afterall, does every Olosho out there have HIV?

@op's misplaced grouse is with her HIV status. People like him deserve to be held upside down and dunked into a bucket of shyte for his utterances.

Family › Re: Can Marrying Someone With Divorced Parents Be An Issue? by cococandy(f): 6:34am On Nov 12, 2016
Couldn't have said it better.

Some kids from 'undivorced' homes have the temerity to look down on those whose parents are divorced whereas their 'been-together-for-30-years' family is the true definition of a broken home. Full of rancor, disrespect, violence and what have you.

OP if she's a good person, look no further.

Eketem:
My husbands parents are divorced but he is the best man I could ever wish for. An amazing hands on father even makes me jealous of his relationship with kids.

My own parents are " together" but their marriage is a war zone, sometimes I wish they would get divorced. My mother being the drama filled aggressive, sometimes violent party.

The same mother wanted to discriminate against my husband, I reminded her of her crisis filled marriage and she held her peace.

I luckily left the toxic environment she built as a home early enough to learn how functional and sane homes can be that is my saving grace. Else I would have been looking down on a sane adult from divorced parents boasting I have together parents when I would have simply been an unstable adult who would have zero conflict resolution skills because I would have learned how to be aggressive and fight from my " undivorced" mother
Family › Re: Ladies Know Your Limit by cococandy(f): 4:11am On Nov 12, 2016
She might have still gotten HIV from another source. You all here commenting on this thread aren't exempt either. You can be all good and still get it from a partner who you thought was faithful or at least was careful while cheating.

Just saying. cool

I wish your sister a fulfilled life and more happiness than she thought was possible. kiss

Lol, the "so you were a male prostitute "really got me grin.
Don't mind him.

Typical hypocrite dude. Sleeping around but wants to marry a virgin.

And then expect her to become a pro overnight for his personal satisfaction. Where was she supposed to learn it? And who will marry those ones he's been gallivanting around with?

Lol! For a woman to cum is no small feat o. It's not the same for a man . And the man has to learn what pleases her for her to even enjoy it. Sex has a lot to do with communication and trying out several things. To really enjoy sex one has to be open minded. I agree with you.
It doesn't have to be that hard.
She just needs to let go of herself enough to achieve it the first few times and afterwards, it's a smooth road from there. That initial 'holy-woman-I-don't-want-him-to-see-my-cum-face' attitude needs to go before she can get it.
Family › Re: Please Help I Am Tempted To Cheat On Her. by cococandy(f): 4:31pm On Nov 11, 2016
So you were/are a male prostitute and you want to turn her into sex pro.
I have a feeling that even if she becomes the expert you want her to be, she will never be enough for you. Old habits die hard. You're used to exploring that's why.

Any black man celebrating Trump's victory because of his own hate for women is just a pathetic creature.

I've seen some of them on facebook. Out of touch bruvs. Trump really loves your black arse.
That's why he spent all his political campaign blasting obama.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Lessons I Learnt From 2016 US Presidental Elections: Donald Trump's Victory by cococandy(f): 9:58pm On Nov 10, 2016
What do you have against Hillary?
Mindfulness:
Trump has made racist, islamophobic and sexist remarks but that does not mean that his voters or most of them are racist, sexist or islamophobic.
I would have never voted for him but voting for Hillary would make me lose sleep as well. Americans had the choice between pest and cholera and Trump seemed like the lesser of the two evils to many and for reasons I can understand. Hillary fvcked it all up. She did not have what it takes and her campaign was ineffective. I saw this coming.

Most people are simple. They want simple solutions to complex problems and The Donald had them whereas Hillary was representing the elites that simple people do not understand and do not trust. The same elites that they feel betrayed them.

These elections pretty much remind me of the Brexit disaster. Take back control was the slogan that made people feel strong and powerful again when in fact Brexit means the opposite but looking back at how the Brexiters campaigned, it was much more effective as it appealed to people in simple terms. Make America great again is a better slogan than Stronger Together.

It is all about how you sell yourself but I am pretty happy Brexiters won and Trump did so too. They must deliver now. The NHS has not seen all the millions they were promised yet and will not see them ever. grin

I want to see the wall Trump promised to build and have Mexicans pay for it. And I want to see how he will successfully isolate the USA in times of globalization, boost the economy and create the jobs. I am also waiting for more populists to govern Europe. People will be hungry soon. History repeats itself. I wish we could avoid it but since every Dick and Harry acts like an expert on politics and economics nowadays, let them deliver.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Lessons I Learnt From 2016 US Presidental Elections: Donald Trump's Victory by cococandy(f): 7:15pm On Nov 10, 2016
Electoral votes. The ones that really matter. I should have made that clearer.

Mindfulness:

Most of them? Trump did not even get the majority of popular vote
, which means that more voters than not voted for Hillary. We should be careful.
Moreover, many voters did not vote for Trump because he made racist remarks but despite them.

Apart from this, I know many Nigerians who support Trump. I was talking to someone yesterday who wanted Trump to win because Obama was 'forcing homosexuality down his throat' and Hillary was the same. In a nutshell, he would rather vote for someone who makes racist remarks than someone who supports homosexuality.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Lessons I Learnt From 2016 US Presidental Elections: Donald Trump's Victory by cococandy(f): 7:07pm On Nov 10, 2016
On the other hand I hope he surprises us all to become the exact opposite of what people expect.

Until then he doesn't have my respect. He's never respected Obama so he should not expect others to hand it to him. He has to earn it.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Lessons I Learnt From 2016 US Presidental Elections: Donald Trump's Victory by cococandy(f): 7:01pm On Nov 10, 2016
The main lesson to learn is that most of them are still in their hearts racist, misogynist, homophobic and whatever else Trump represents.

It means never relax in the fight against segregation and discrimination because it's only the laws that keep people 'good'. When they have the chance to be themselves without repercussions, their anti-other-humans-who-are-not-like-us sides will come glaring.

Family › Re: Help!!! My Husband Lost His Job And Our Family's Luxury Life Is About To Crumble by cococandy(f): 8:54pm On Nov 09, 2016
Life happens.

Even if you had a healthy sized piggy bank, you wouldn't still be able to afford same lifestyle as long as the same income doesn't keep coming.

At most if might have paid that year's fees, rent, start a business if you're so inclined or whatever else needs to be done immediately after which you'll still need to downgrade.

Accept your new normal and try to make it work. Contentment is key to happiness.

It doesn't mean you shouldn't continue to strive for better. It just means that while you're below, try to make it work for you.

Yes I've heard it severally and when no one is accusing them of sleeping around, they are mocking them for being single.
You can't deny that you don't see them being mocked for their single status. Be in denial all you want, it doesn't change the fact that most Nigerians including you (why else would be acting ignorant of this) are uncomfortable with feminine success hence they say whatever they can to diminish the woman's achievements whenever possible.

If you can't stick your neck out for a stranger because you don't know them, it also makes sense to not accuse them of something you're not sure of since you obviously don't know them.

Makes sense?

Rita Dominic

Genevieve Nnaji

Bimbo Akintola

Linda Ikeji

These are unmarried celebs, living rich, and nobody is accusing them of sleeping around for it. Have you ever heard Rita has a sugar daddy? People that know know, and people writing epistles don't know. Don't stretch your neck out for a stranger simply because she shares your gender.

You can only vouch foe yourself.

Nigerians are really hateful and antagonistic of female success. If you don't have proof that she's into anything unwholesome to make her money, just shut your putrid mouth and leave the girl alone.

You guys are are so stinking evil. Gosh. Even when you have proof that the lady is making money legally, you resort to mocking her single status. The only way a woman can be respected with money is when she's married, so that your sexist selves can justify the money by attributing it to the man. Ignorant things. None of you thought that maybe she has a side business or endorsements that she doesn't make noise about? Why must the first thing that comes to your minds be prostitution?

Disgusting angry
