I had a meeting sometime ago, he dropped me at the meeting then parked the car there and went to hang around somewhere till I was done before he came and drove me home and that wasn't the first time he was doing it. When a woman is loyal to you, you learn to appreciate her.

If you intend to have a family one day, you would do well to be on the look out for the kind of man that you want rather than put them on hold for a career. As you age, it will get harder, not impossible, to find that dream man. As you age your value in the sexxual marketplace wanes because you won't look as 'angelic' and you would have 'history'. Every right-thinking man should be concerned about the 'history' of his bride. Etc etc.

I know you are right but its not like I'm too career oriented. I'm just focused on my career for now until the right person pops the question. I know my mum is only worried because when my sister was at my stage, her boyfriend now husband was already familiar with everyone. She just feels I'm in an unserious relationship because anyone who is serious about me should not be afraid of coming home. I just look at the whole situation and SMH. God forbid! I serve a living God who always has my best interests at heart. He won't allow it. I will prefer if we are at par than if he has one that's higher than mine though.

I can just imagine the pressure at 30. I'm still far from 30 but I'm already feeling a bit of pressure. Suddenly my mum, aunties and sisters want to know who I'm in a relationship with, why I dont invite my boyfriend over. I have had only one bad friend since childhood. This girl was so close to me that I knew her family and they knew mine. I usually go to her house after school and when her mum travels abroad she brings stuff back for me. People called us twins because we did everything together.

All that changed when our semester results were released and I did well while she didn't. She started acting funny. She came back one day and told me something about what her family was saying about me because I was from Calabar. I told someone else about it and the person told me something I will never forget. The person said "its not about what her family said about you but about what she said in your defence". I asked her what she said in my defence and she had nothing to say.

I guess what made me give her distance was when my bunkmate warned me to be careful with that girl that if I hear the things she says about me I will cry. I just cut her off after that. Now there's nobody that knows everything about me except God. I will only tell you what I feel you should know.
