The town where they slaughter people freely for rituals or another Iwo? Rubbish. Only God knows how Bowen found its way there. Just ask any Yoruba person about Iwo? No good reputation.

Blue3k: Lol first time you said something close to sensible regarding economics. Anyway this remains the USA beef market. They one of biggest consumers exporters and importers. Even if Nigeria becomes an exporter tomorrow it doesn't necessarily mean we will stop imports. From what I read Nigeria doesn't export because the country lacks storage and transport options.
If you're worried about the issue go Invest your money into solving it. You'll be compensated handsomely. Take a trip to Ghana or some other country and see what they're doing right. Write it off as business expense on your taxes. beaf and USA is not an appropriate example. I know you don't understand the fact you are hurriedly churning out here. Import of beaf can be for onward processing and re-exporting. That puts a whole new meaning to the data and makes it inappropriate for your argument. |

ednut1: Some people will still defend APC and tinubu . The MOU will be used to obtain huge loans and the project will never get done. they end up sub-contracting such jobs to companies with expertise in the field. But insert huge profit for themselves. That leaves the job uncompleted or substandard. No reputable company will accept below BOQ as contract sum. |
Politics › Re: Ikuforiji's Company gets MultiBillion Naira Rail Contract without prior history by CodeTemplar: 4:22pm On Mar 17, 2024 |
The harsh reality of Nigerian politics. Turn by turn chopping. For eight years Buhari and co ate, now Tinubu and co are eating.
What this means is that a competent company will be sub-contracted to do a cheap work(usually a poor one) while the suite case company featured in this news inserts a hefty profit for themselves. The result is either delayed or extremely poor job. |

Where is blue3k and his clique of statistics churners? We are top consumer and top producer, but deficit in supply doesn't mean we should all start celebrating our top producer status as consolation. It all means our status as top producer doesn't automatically position us for export or as the best cultivators around.

ArewaNorth: Jigawa State pioneered Internet penetration into Nigeria early 2000 thereby later establishing Informatics Institute Kazaure in 2001. Saminu Turkish established the Jigawa Informatics Institute (JII) in 2001 and in less than eight years of its establishment, the Institute proved that its introduction in the heyday of the ICT dream is the wisest and critical aspect of the much touted ICT revolution initiated at Jigawa. Nigerians from the nooks and crannies of this Nation used to trooped to Jigawa to learn ICT. Saminu Turaki pursued ICT with unique commitment by investing billions of Naira on his pronounced dream to convert Jigawa State into the number one ICT state in Nigeria. As far back as those years, Saminu Turaki established Galaxy ITT now co-owned by Jigawa State Govt, FG & private sector a.k.a Galaxy Backbone in 2000 which forced FG to create NITDA to regulate ICT Sector in Nigeria. Turaki founded the Galaxy Information Technology and Telecommunication (GITT) in the year 2000, barely a year into his first term as governor. Galaxy ITT became the first broadband satellite network in Nigeria. As far back as those years, Jigawa used to have hundreds students sent to Singapore for first degree programs in ICT between 2001-2004. Jigawa state used to give more than 20 States in Nigeria internet services between 2003-2007. You are very ignorant and empty. Next please! |

There is a religious divide there. The Catholic don't align with Voodooism.
The prize there is to be the govt. Once that's achieved the assumption is that power will create money one way or another. They can tax the law-abiding citizens. Extort them. Enslave them. |
