Printing more money has no real advantage other than for replacement of worn out notes and currencies. Printing new money is like trying to print everyday needs like foods, clothes, roads and services. Borrowing is synonymous to getting those things listed above on credit and paying later. Money printing is imaginary growth and unreal unlike borrowing which isn't a growth per se but but connotes transfer of real value.

Then, you all need to understand that bad currencies are removed from circulation from time to time and they're needed to be replaced so that there wouldn't be shortage of money in circulation. How exactly do you think government achieve that?

Then, all of just became expert on economy and monetary issue like you knew more than the CBN officials. Do you guys even know the process the government has to go through to print certain amount of money and release it into the circulation?

How much are we even talking about here? 60 billion naira! What is the Nigeria GDP again? You all can only go haywire like this if it is proven that this has become normal and frequent recurrent practice with the administration.

Do you all want the government to wait until there is no enough money in circulation when we all know bunch of bad currencies are being removed from the circulation from time to time?

Many Nigerians youth and common sense are like word and opposite, they give in too easily to their emotions. And of course, most of you can't comment without being influenced by politics though you will never admit it.

The money was printed for states to share supposedly. If it was for replacement of old notes, no problem,, but for states to share, that's so funny. They could have passes it unto banks who are the channel through which old notes get pulled out of circulation. I see no need to pass it to States if it was for routine currency reimbursement.

Most Nigerians don't know what's going on...THIS COUNTRY HAS NO MORE MONEY. They have borrowed last 4yrs to fund the budget mostly recurrent expenditures and now, realizing that they can no longer borrow and no global bank will lend them since the country is heavily collateralized that they have now resulted to illegal money printing to survive.

I can't wait for the money to dry up, that's when Nigerians will know truly what regions can survive without federal allocations.

In the biblical Egypt when money failed, it was due to draught. Ours is due to greed inspired mismanagement. We have water, rain, fertile land, good whether, crude for energy and many thing going but our money is failing or rather faileth like biblical Egypt. What an error.

If you print more money against a stagnant or recessing GDP, it only gives people a false sense of wealth thereby causing inflation. Govt of witchcraft economics. Their own idea of delivering good governance is that of making some people suffer more to make others greatful and happier. Sort of like a lecturer denying some people their grades to make other look super intelligent.
