The statement there says it is for the regulation income tax. How do they determine what constitutes income in my account? The govt is clearly bereft of ideas and I hope this isn't a ploy to target top ministers of God who receive huge gifts.

Do we really have people that think in this government? What will having that data do ?

This is not just sickening but embarrassing.

What was the purpose of BVN ?
My understanding of BVN is it being a unique financial identity number tied to your fingerprints. It was done to track who owns what account primarily.

Tàx things.

But this government is truly bereft of ideas. Revenue are raised by expanding the tax base/net and not stifling businesses. How many businesses would have sprung up should government has generated and distributed steady power, expand road infrastructure, encourage local production, enhance education, etc.

But all they are after is who drives Benz.
That where-the-money-at attitude of a street hustler.

I'm not surprised... Most southern leaders stink of corruption due to over civilization... They never put the country and it's people first in what they do... They are always after their own illegal gains once they occupy public office... And once they are caught, the foolish southern people and it's media arm start playing ethnicity card and organising paid protests. Funny enough, you hardly hear of northerns coming to defend any northerner accused and being tried for corruption..

Look at the roads in the south and compare to the north... Just compare the infrastructural development in the north to the south... We are acting intelligent in the south while our political leaders rob us blind and turn us against the north... We produced presidents for 16 years out of the last 21 years... But go and look at Ore Abeokuta road where Obasanjo is from...the one who likes to write letters...

Go and look at Benin Warri road with all the oil revenue being received there and countless billions approved for them and siphoned by southern politicians while our people keep dying like flies in road accidents, while looking to the north as their source of problem.

Only Yar Adua, a Northerner pursued Nigeria's interest with zeal... But death cut him short... Buhari would have done greater things for Nigeria if not for the fall in revenue arising from crude oil price crash, together with the crowd of thieves surrounding him.

Sanusi too, a northerner occupied that CBN seat and made life easier for Nigerians with different monetary policies... He eliminated nonsensical ATM charges and many other fraudulent bank charges used by banks to legally steal from customers...

But our southern man Emiefele has climbed that seat now and he reintroduced bank charges, atm charges and so many others... because he's a capitalist and capitalism is fueled by greed and corruption in underdeveloped country like Nigeria where institutions are weak and checkmates can be easily maneuvered....

We will be ready to move forward when we start hanging looters in this country.

Thank you.
The northerners have the defence structure in their palms and need minimal media support for theirs. They simply go to the police station and release theirs. Maina's case is still fresh in memory. El Rufai paid killers. A former CBN top man says governors were pointed out as BH sponsors and we know it will end with phone calls.

Shithole universities in a shithole country. How much research has come out of covenant university lately? Aren't all the students just interested in partying lol
Oga Nigeria has more doctors than Austria but Austria has a better Doctor to population ratio.
Success when wholly funded with trillions of Naira over six decades is different from one done with lesser number of brains, funds and time.

The problem with our people is we like to call rules rules. So much rules for a lawless society. Sometimes I wonder if you know why rules are there in the first place. Rules are meant to guide not as tools of oppression as you mfers have made it become in that shithole. Upon all una rules y'all are still backward in every aspect globally
What shithóle are you ranting about?
Well rules in this case are not tools of oppression. They are there for sake of dignity and to mould the student. if you think a school must adopt the norms in a society it is seeking to change and impact positively, then you obviously have personal issues with that school and I wouldn't know why.

Very hilarious. Meanwhile during my postgraduate degree in a UK Uni, there was no appearance nor dress code. Loads of persons wore shorts, winter jackets, even leggings. Some white dudes had earrings on. And this was in a very professional medical programme. The African society is just a different one.
Rules are rules oga. That school you went to may not have a rule against such but CU has one against it. I doubt that dude can appear in front of Adenuga for an interview like that. he looks like sango shrine errand boy in those beards.
