read 'your' own topic again, you will know who the 'you people' are.

yes Jesus did not condemn tithe neither did he say its do or hell fire is yours.
tithe is not the primary reason you call yourself a Christian.
The problem I have observed with you is this your habit of replying to nonexistent things.
Where did I ever say tithe is my primary goal as a christian?

Just like the other fóol chatting up his alternate account on the thread in a bid to derail, you are in the habit of delusion. Replying and treating imaginative things as though they are real.
Did I also tell you tithe is do or die or can you trace such statement to me anywhere? No but you work with such assumption.

If you have nothing against the scriptures why jump into the thread to attack me blindly if not that you same as the other fóol who goes around saying apostle Paul's teachings have errors?

shocked

I learnt that in every man/woman is a gift to use in helping humanity in a way.

Why have a house with 9 rooms when a brother is homeless and you could make his life better by taking him in.

Why allow your unique body odour waste when you could tap it, add some garlic to it and patent a lifesaving remedial epileptic drug for kids?

What's the use of your oratory prowess if all you use it for is to get Rafatu to take off her pants and hop into your bed when you could use it to inspire Rafatu to look into that pant and realize that she's got all it takes to be a self-made Nubian queen.

Why will a healthy woman with an uterus say she is jobless when she could meet the needs of a childless couple by being their surrogate and still earn good money from it?

You can't have a huge preek and be fabulous in bed and keep yourself for one woman when there's a neighborhood of sexstarved women plus a multitude of widows around.
Share that happiness.
Sprinkle the love all over like a broken cube of Royco.

Inspire someone.
Motivate someone,
Reach out and grab a sinking hand.
Put a smile on someone's face.

At the end of it all, you'd be happy you did.
Look inwards, it's in you!
Did you spit this from your brain or your kidney? damn! people dey o.

I see you have added another verse to what u posted earlier.

now to the new verse. what Jesus rebooked then is what you are still doing today. you people ignore the good virtues of the law and focus only on collecting money from people tru tithe, seed sowing, etc.
you people think that you can bribe God with money. that is what Jesus was condemning. woe unto you OP.
You people?
You don't know me in real life so stop accusing me blindly and then building your arguments on imaginations.
Yes there are coveteous ministers out there but don't throw out the baby with the bath water.

Jesus was also endorsing tithes when after pointing out the Scribes and Pharisee's error to them said:

"these ougth ye to have done and not to leave the other undone."
Deal with messages and stop attacking messengers.

Greatest challenge to islam is its hate for Education

And trust me its only takes a person that's not smart to believe in virgins are reward and unaging

Living forever is the worst punishment a man can receive ,its same as a prison

Islam is at a cross road , allow education and see islam die on 100 years ....hate education and see terrorism

We know most prefer the later

Most educated muslim practice it as more of a family tradition than religion even
Hatred and illiteracy it is for me.

You have people who read a book about spiritual realm with carnal meaning around. I as a christian for example, i have seen several places where Israelites killed with the sword as commanded by God in the bible, but with some basic understanding like the saints or born again soul being the real Israelites, irrespective of race or country, and the sword representing the word of God or relevant words of the bible to situations, I don't need to be mislead into giving these scriptural verses physical meaning or going to slaughter humans.

When I pray and say something like: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; Father torment all my tormentors according to 2 Thessalonians 1:6 That's the sword at work and not the way islamists interpret things carnally.

Illiteracy and hate can trigger such interpretation.
Politics › Re: Greatest Challenge Of Islam Is Violent Extremism- Buhari Says by CodeTemplar:
Buhari is only leaving the fire and going after the smoke by such utterances.

What birthed violent extremism in the first place?

Muslims have proven incapable of telling themselves the truth. The Religion has been hijacked by politicians and their urge to present one unified doctrine has meant the bigger sect wins the battle of ideology or is bound to swallow up smaller ones.

Educate the illiterate among your followers why it is wrong to use public money contributed by both muslims and nonmuslims to buy salah ram or build mosques for them.

Also tell them God is a spirit and his messages are not literal but figurative and meant to communicate dynamics of the spirit realm to us.
Teach them that all the matter in their body was once in the dust or soil and will soon return to the soil but their soul(intellect, emotion, mind) and spirit goes back for judgement..

Tell them that certain medical equipment hardly fails where only muslims reside and patronise but they fail randomly where Christians are, and that is a pointer that those that deligently seek Christ will find him.

Teach them the truth that can help them be independent of Jazz and have peace. Teach them the truth Buhari.

Lol...
This is what a carnal interpretation of a distorted book can cause. Using the bible as an example, Illustrations are symbolic as much as they carry physical meaning.

The water or waters for example is used to symbolize both the spirit or the word (bible) all over the bible. Now imagine islamist taking a distorted bible in form of quran and reading physical meaning into it all.

Mathew 23:23.

It says;

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Explanation.
We have three values or instructions or commandments here. The scribes ignored them namely: judgement, mercy and faith but paid tithes and Jesus told them
these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

I thought it good to hear the opinion of those who hitherto opposed prosperity of churches as entities and tithing.

Zechariah 1:17
Cry yet, saying, Thus said the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; And the LORD shall yet comfort Zi'on, and shall yet chose Jerusalem.

As for tithe, Jesus Himself says in Mathew 23:23;

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Vine is the plant, grapevine(grape) is the fruit. Grapes are used to make wine. You can look it up.
Please try to show some respect.
You don't apply for respect but earn it.
So Jesus should have said "fruit of the grapevine" instead of "fruit of the vine" right?

Or are you subtly accepting your error and at same time shifting it into a debate about English?

Throwing insults won't get you far my friend. It is clearly stated in the scriptures that the wine they took right from the time of Noah made men drunk. Only alcoholic wines produce such effects. Why are some(you) christians against alcoholic drinks?
You shouldn't have come at me with another account and indirectly by replying me that "He gave them WINE."

To further prove your low level of reasoning, you are now shifting focus entirely by asking me about why some(me) Christians are against alcoholic drinks?

I won't answer you for you are not straightforward.

But for the sake of onlookers looking to learn. Mathews 26:29 clearly refers to vine and not wine, and from English we know that vine is about fruits and not alcohol.

Matthew 26:29
But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Please don't use harsh words on a brother.
It was indeed wine that the LORD Jesus drank with his deciples. Wine and food are not abominations but drunkenness and gluttony are, Speaking is not evil but cursing is, jokes are not bad but foolish jesting is.....

Bless you.
You appear even more unstable than the other moniker.
If you find nothing out of place in someone coming in here and concluding it is alcoholic wine just because 'people' keep saying it is fruit juice, then you are more unstable.

I have been trying to avoid trolls on multiple handles for some time now.
