Netanyahu1:This government spends average of N1.6m per graduate and is expectated to employ everyone. The mess doesn't stop there. When finally employed they go on to constitute the bottleneck the OP is about. It is sad. People think life owes them everything. They think man is still in garden of eden where needs were met supernaturally. |
These are people deserving of national honour and not some pot bellied men who are ready to covenant their children to dark forces just to gain power with which to loot treasury. Another interesting discussion : https://www.nairaland.com/4692852/nnpc-suppose-building-power-plants#70543803 |
Development cones with a price. Meanwhile join the discussion about the 4600MW power plant by NNPC https://www.nairaland.com/4692852/nnpc-suppose-building-power-plants#70543803 What happened to power ministry? |
He is playing to the tune of APC govt. Join us and become free from anti corruption storm. Who wouldn't take such a subtle offer with looted billions stashed away in Dubai? |
The NNPC's major project for the last 3 years and 3 months has been an alleged PPP power plant for Abuja, Kano, and Kaduna with combined capacity of 4600MW. This project goes along with a pipeline running through the ND to Abuja and then extending from Abuja to Kaduna and Finally Kano. Here is a link NNPC website about this huge power project: http://nnpcgroup.com/PublicRelations/NNPCinthenews/tabid/92/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/915/NNPC-to-Establish-4600MW-Power-Plants-in-FCT-Other-States.aspx With a functional ministry of power headed by Fashola in place, is NNPC suppose to be involved in the construction of power plants ? Why is no one asking questions about this injustice being presented in form development to those close to abundant gas supply? I like to hear from Nairalanders. |
budusky05:Your ignorance is an all-round one. You didn't realize PDP and GEJ didn't rule Lagos state since 1999 and now you are confusing Monday for Thursday. Go and grow up son. |
budusky05:Did Gej and PDP rule Lagos where those slow monorail projects were experienced also? Look at the level of ignorance and bigotry you just exhibited. Alarming!!! |
budusky05:Monday? It is like you are on tramadol and codeine, In five days time read ur community not again and see of it makes sense. |
EwuOjota:NCE?? |
No. APC focuses on sharing. They tell us people are so hungry when they have the money but tell us people are lazy when they need more money. If you keep giving free food to people who are suppose to work and pay tax how will they think of working and paying tax to the system? |
BMC anti corruption post. Sarrki switch to MannaBBQ account and make some creamated delicacies for us now. |
budusky05:They have been working on monorail for a decade now. How far Badagry axis? |
sonsomegrigbo:Even u yourself don't believe this post. Development that takes forever is as good a propaganda. Let then finish monorail before doing sports project. |
amaniro:True words. Lagos is having so much road traffic challenge I wonder if this is really of priority to Lagosians than monorail and roads. This can't wait forever but the monorail project too needs completion ASAP. |
Is this a joke? I know the govt will distance themselves from it and term it Lai Mohameed opinion while on salah holiday. |
sarrki:Is that what Buhari is using that he wants to do 3 rounds with Nigeria. |
BH morphed into cowless herdsmen long ago. Buhari/APC have dispersed them into Nigeria with incompetence. |
Yusfunoble:You can begin to imagine the future of Nigeria. FG ( Northerners ) is supporting Dangote to dominate the oil industry and this will likely mean an opposition to growth of alternative source of energy like solar, wind, biogas. It has happened in cement market and can happen in oil sector as well. |
Rubiesangel:Imagine a smart phone with a rotating camera that can rotate 180° to the front for selfie or back facing position for regular shoot. That will mean reduced number of cameras with better selfies. we need corresponding battery increase to power the increasing RAM, CPU, and peripheral power. Also a hardcoded ID like BlackBerry Pin will go along way in checking theft of most android phones. We need those and not just increase in RAM CPU and Cameras. Get it? |
Same sea where other drown on their way to Europe. |
Lagos will have to annex parts of Ogun state in order to accommodate more people and industries. |
Who is Chioma and Who is Hushpuppi? |
Nice move by that girl. |
Smartphone are becoming boring. Just same configuration pattern. either camera or ram or CPU or screen size is increasing. |
Nigerian factor. |
Every random blogger is now a university ranking body. It only exposes our emphasis on quantity and crowd mentality than quality of work. OP should tell us what are the yardsticks for rating these schools and let's see if the make sense at all. I am sure OP doesn't want that. Is it research work? Academic publication, achievements of alumni, referenced works, revenues, lecturer to student ratio ? |
Buhari can't secure Nigeria neither can El Rufai secure Kaduna. I thought El Rufai once boasted of how he paid the killers of Kaduna locals to stop killing them. The APC clearly aren't securing the country any better than uncle Jo and his fishermen gang did. God help us. |
A recent story in the UK Guardian jumped out at me on account of the headline which read, “Five years ago there was nothing.” It was a story about a town called Duqm in Oman which has been transformed from a fishing village to an industrial town with a port, luxury hotels and housing for more than 100,000 people. But if you say Oman is an oil rich country, how about India? In 2014, only 43% of households in the country had toilets. By this year, the total had more than doubled to 89% after the building of almost 80 million toilets. In August 2015, the same India announced a $2.5bn plan to connect all 597,464 inhabited villages in the country to the electricity grid. In April this year, it announced that the project had been completed. Whatever the quirks of how the statistics are measured, there can be no doubt that the country has achieved something remarkable in 3 years. In the same period, Nigeria has been connecting more and more of its citizens to the poverty grid. Economic growth is almost non-existent while population growth is racing ahead |
Offpoint:The main challenge is our short cut mentality. God wants to gives us wisdom to do things and not give us things to use directly. After kicking man out a the garden of eden He mandated us to work and not to pray to Him for the needs to be provided by Him directly. The whites know this and don't joke with wisdom and education/ knowledge. Ben Carson is a Christian and not a misfit. |
NobodyKnows:Cry yourself to the IGP may be he can help your bigoted @ss. Transmission dude. |
