if after watching that video, You still claim to be an Atheist or an Evolutionist, then the problem is no longer your mind but your heart. because you have decided in your heart to be your own god & not because you are confused genuinely, therefore seeking the truth.
Happy Sunday...
The greatest misconception about religion is that of confusing physical world analogies for the message of religion. Man is basically a spirit and has a body then a soul to bridge the spirit-body gap. A lot of stories from religious books are there to teach is about the order of the spirit man's world and how it relates to the physical. Virtues of the spirit world like strength, power, faith, anointing, grace, and wealth operate differently from the physical sense and thus need analogies for us to comprehend them in full. As long as any man accepts the existence of spirits being or the spirit of humans, to me he has accepted God. It is just a matter of confusion.
HigherEd: I really do envy Ota. In the next few years Ota would be an intensive hotspot in real estate.
I hope the government steps up and provide some basic amenities to support this new cluster of residential buildings. It will be funny to leave this city alone to cater for road linking it with Lagos.
while some are planting themselves into government's pocket to fund their religious beliefs others are assisting this same govt with their religious beliefs. What a huge difference in impact there!
absool: federal universities of technology are the most stressful schools in Nigeria yes or know Schools like FUTO, if you can get a first class there you can get a first class in other university in the world
baby124: It’s that employee who has something to hide and not the organization. I am sure if the owners of the company find out what he said, he will be sacked.
True words but some employers have a lot to hide also. Imagine the MD of a commercial bank who knows his major clients are corrupt individual. Such a MD will never like a whistle blowing employee.
The last job interview I went for about three weeks ago, the guy asked if I was “ the Monica Osagie” and I said yes and the next thing he said was sorry ma, we don’t need a whistle-blower!
This says a lot about the society we find ourselves in. So most organisation out there favours secrecy over mouths willing to say things the way they are. What are they hiding?
HigherEd: Oh my! You just cost yourself your job... It's unfortunate some people harbour this kind of hatred. Was in a tricycle recently here in lagos having the Igbo driver pour out his deep founded hatred for yorubas. The man couldn't even care less that his passengers were mostly yourubas. We all couldn't wait to get off his vehicle.
Babcock is a school with many Igbos i believe. And i hope the administration addresses this before they have a calamity in their hands..
This is why we need to restructure this country. You got amagamated to southern Nigeria because you are backward economically and educationally. You even fought a war to maintain this amalgamation and go to Abuja every 30 days or thereabout to get money for development but you end up buying meats for parasites who are suppose to be working and paying tax to help stop your dependence on oil.
pocohantas: LOL! Actually, that post is the truth. Why some NL guys get very emotional about this topic, is because they have chosen to deceive themselves and not face reality.
Romance is a thing of the heart, but the heart doesn't see. It is what you 'see' that forms the [initial] attraction. We all have what forms attraction for us, religion, physical looks, intellect, academic qualifications...etc.
It actually goes both ways. A very intelligent career driven man, would be frustrated with a beautiful dumb lady. It doesn't mean he doesn't love her, but she isn't just the perfect fit. That's why you see men of old, including some of our Nigerian leaders, had that first wife who looks all motherly, but they proceeded to marry a younger educated wife, who can speak in public.
For women, it isn't always money as men love to think. It could be anything she can look up to you for ,e.g knowledge.
The post is right but a lot of us use it to manipulate our way into peoples pocket. Prostitution.
You better don't allow NL alpha males meet you here
I tell ya.What is the definition of this league self. People tend to use slangs when they want to play ojoro. What is league in romance? Is it money? Clothes? Background? Looks? Romance is suppose to be a thing of the heart and not a league thing.
See them faces. Nigerians and scam are like 5 and 6. That is partly due to a failed educational system where graduates only care about claiming the best and not striving to be it. They have no real survival skills and are mere criminals.
LastDays777: The Bible contain a lot of secrets and code of this world. You can't understand it using the worldly way of thinking. E.g. when Jesus(Yeshua) said he was going to bring down this building and rebuild it in three days, they thought it was the physical building we see but NO. He meant the spiritual body of Christ.
There are things that goes against logic in the spiritual world. Because you don't understand something doesn't make it a 'child story book'
Thank you. Man is essentially a spirit, has has a body and then a soul to bridge the gap of spirit-body. Once you miss this simple fact, you miss a lot of things about the man to God relationship.
The unseen world needs to be described with analogy of things we can see and appreciate more easily but people have taken these analogy and make them seem like bedtime stories.
Look at the analogy of death, When Adam fell or died according to God's word he was still walking around physically but with degraded physical features and mind. If when God was creating man He breathes life into the clay of the ground to give consciousness then death connotes lose of consciousness among others. In Genesis 20. Abimelech died briefly but was still physically alive. People take it to mean Abimelech died physically. Lots of wrong interpretation have been given to the bible.
kaypompee: While at it also remember to implement error handling for users who enter wrong information. E.g they enter a string instead of an integer or float. That would be in your method main. In c# it would be something like:
Write("Please enter deposit amount: " If( int.tryParse(ReadLine(), out int deposit){ depositMethod(deposit); }else{ Write(" Invalid entry. Please enter a numerical amount: " }
So write the Java equivalent of that etc...
Hope it's helpful
That is validation. Java has good validation and exception support.
