The obsession with anything that looks like luxury to the poor can be misleading at times. I support the use of private jets by people like Oyedepo who have tight schedule of commitments.
What OP is saying is more appropriate for public secular system leaders who are technically employed by the poor to serve them. Pastors are called by God and God admonishes us to know them by their fruits.
If Caesar misuses what has been given unto him like tax, excess jamb form levy, abacha loot recovered and foreign aids then that doesn't mean the church should have no meat for the sake of ceasar.

What people like OP don't realize is that the private jet cost of a pastor won't feed his poor followers for a week. So what happen after that? Will foreign mission close down because the poor must be worshiped until they become rich? Never.

The model isn't same as the speed. 1.9GHZ is the frequency and not model. Model can be something like Core i5 2450M.

Go to your computer system properties and check it.

Why are you jist doing it now and complaining?
Govt will still take some blame. Sensitization. They need to do it fairly. Besides people have been complaining since February. May be those centers you talked about are rural areas. Since February some centers are jam-packed as early as 7:00 am

Well am not among. So let him keep building mansions. He will still charge the occupants high for living in it like his covenant Uni. After there contributing for the house, they will still pay high to live in it. In fact, many won't even live there cos they can't pay. He will carry d house and fly to heaven, end time end time. Yet he is busy building mansions.
You need to start making informed decisions with your mind. The houses are technically sold out even before completion and so if you want to hate on BDO please learn to do it constructively.

For your information Covenant University charges one of the cheapest fee when compared to the facilities on offer in their campus. Stop the hate son. pray to God for your own time to come and stop the hate.

Op God bless you

I wish people can use their brain rather than emotions

Individual rights must always surrender to national security because one person cannot be greater than the whole country. Moreso If the country erupts in turmoil both your rights and the entire constitution will be burnt to ashes!
Who is the person interpreting the national interest. This is a vague term that can be interpreted to devastating effect against perceived enemies of the interpreter or group of interpreters' interest. God help us. The situation/conditions that constitute a national interest can then be manipulated through secret service chiefs like Duara to target perceived enemies.

Good. God bless buhari for this . If Buhari had followed rule of law vagabonds like Nnamdi Kanu who is hell bent on destabilising our lovely and prosperous country will still be roaming because of rule of law. People like Dasuki and Elzakyzaky will also keep perpetuating criminality under rule of law. Dictatorship is the best form of government.

In other words the church needs to propel people after the wisdom to produce needs and get important things done, and not just churning out people who provide wants.

I so like that Dora Akuyili example so much, she was attacked so many times and came so close to losing her life but she was a model example for Christians. On one occasion bullet passed through her hair and brushed her scalp. We need more of those character.

No one try to counter her points with reasonable argument. Instead they all jumped on her looks. Simply because they had nothing sensible to say to prove her wrong. Bunch of poor minded folks.

And this exactly why feminism is very very vital to civilization. When people think a woman’s value should be based on how men see her appearance. So because y’all don’t think she’s beautiful, whatever she has to say makes no sense?

Well I’m probably talking to the wall. Can’t expect simple minded plebs to try and reason a conversation out of this.
So God made a mistake by making women as helper to men.

In contrast to the above some schools have lecturers who resigned from high paying jobs to take up appointments in those schools. That tells you one thing.
They are passionate about lecturing in those schools yet we see people here always claiming private church schools have no lecturers.

SternProphet:
You don't know what you are talking about. California is the engine is social welfare. They have been voting democrats for decades. YES there is support for the poor, easy money you call it. So why is it working in California?. I think people like respond to opportunities. If you stupidly allow your people to fall below poverty line like PDP did in Nigeria your internal consumption drops and since demand drives business, you will simply ruin your country GDP aground.
Buhari is giving free school feeding now. If we continue for just five more years, Nigerian agric will develop economies of scale and productivity in eggs, rice, beans, cassava and poultry that makes our products cheaper on the international market apart from helping GDP.

California is the home of US aerospace industries, high tech silicon valley, JPL, Hollywood, solar energy, wind farms et,c.. Everything futuristic and advanced about the US started there and they do social investment so let's think about it carefully. Republican states like Tenessee, Alabama, Louisiana don't do social investment and their poverty rate is almost Nigeria level

The most amateurish statement is to think that social investment programs (not social welfare) always lead to laziness or lack of initiative. Most human beings are built for success not for struggle for survival like animals. Take them above poverty line and watch them fly.

China most European economies and some African countries have social investment programmes and they are working.
I hate it when people try to sell bad argument by adding irrelevant facts to it.
Calofonia is investing in people development and not trying to buy votes with money that isn't available.

India is a country with the highest population in the world. The birthplace of Buddha, it also boasts of being one of the most religious countries in the world. Like most nations ranked below the belt in several poverty indexes, cultural and religious rituals are taken seriously.
One of such is a yearly traditional Kuthiyottam ritual held at Alleppey, a place which is dubbed the “Venice of India”.
In a land where poverty continues to rage her populace, the Chooral Muriyal ritual, a subset of the Kuthiyottam ritual, involves the sacrifice of young boys in hopes of getting wealthy. This particularly affects children who are at theory bottom of the social ladder.
This tradition is famed to have begun when a king appealed to the goddess Bhadrakali for wealth and fame. To grant the request, the Goddard's told him to sacrifice an educated 10-year-old male child with no blemish. Thus began this age-long practice.
Chooral Muriyal Ritual. Photo Youth Ki Awaaz
Male children between the ages of eight and 12 are bought and offered to the god at the
Chettikulangara temple in the month of Kumbham. To perform this ritual, the midribs of the children are pierced with bamboo or gold strings.

The children are made to dance to the temple to the rhythm of instruments being played with their hands raised up. While this is going on, coconut water is poured on the crying children to ease their pain. Some participating adults also use their hands to fan the blood seeping out. These acts are done to prevent contamination of the soon-to-be holy child.
Upon their arrival, the strings are removed and offered to the goddess. The sacrifice entails ostracisation of the chosen child from the society. Once a child is offered as a sacrifice, he is considered evil and must not be associated with the normal children in any social gathering.
