Let me humour you a bit, let assumes 87M are poor out of 180M translates to 48% of the population which means the proportion of poor people went down from 61% to the 48% but you are not out for the truth just for a meal What was it as at Q1 2015? I know a lot of changes took place between 2012 and 2015. The Adeshina effect and things like youwin came alive. |

Hmmm... This is great. They are teaching future agro-businessmen how to code so they can think computationally and logically. The main thing here is the purpose-driven zeal they will be putting into such courses.
They are following industry trend bumper to bumper in order to stay competitive globally. I am so sure when some of the guys graduate they will make good stuffs and sell some of their products to Africa. Those goods will sit side by side with our analog produces and probably outsell them then we will say white men have conspired against third world nations again. |

asuustrike1: Thank God you said crash but you forgot accounting standards are changing on daily basis. An accountant can be an auditor, tax practitioners, financial adviser, account officer, e.t.c. there is no limit to be a consultant as opined by you it is just money. The crash program will do them no good at all. An accountant will draw knowledge from Economics, Sociology, business, marketing, law to understand accounting principles and practice My submissions stand though. If accounting branches into 5 or 6 advanced fields there are probably 20 or more in computer science or engineering. |

asuustrike1: Yes they can stand alone. Once an accounting graduate passes his or her professional exams, he or she can set up a firm. Faculty of law in that school isn't bigger than engineering or faculty After passing exams . . . I get you now, but even at that u and I know there is a limit to that. one firm cant be consulting more than one external accounting entity on average but one firm will more likely need many scientist, technologist etc. In advance countries accounting is something u can go for a crash course and start practicing soonest. |

asuustrike1: Same thing with accounting. Accounting if am not mistake is govern by principles. You may be technological incline but may lack knowledge on accounting principles. Have you for once wonder why businesses are recruiting accounting graduate with computer knowledge?. Why didn't they use ICT to resolve their problem Can an accountant stand alone after grad and immediately be self-employed? Accountant must for wait for wealth to be created before keeping the books. Look at law also. law faculty in uniben and OSU alone is like a whole technology university. Are we all criminals in Nigeria? |

anyaekekehinde: I have being lucky to meet some intelligent dudes in life, but you rank among the top I have ever met. Baba I salute your wisdom.
May God continue to bless you and bless Nigeria with great thinkers. One of the problems with Nigeria is majority of Nigerians have low IQ, I am talking about close to 85% of Nigeria's population are mentally challenged.
They lack mental capacity to makegood decisions for themselves.
Their self esteem has being battered repeatedly by this criminals and self serving politicians, that's why you see them worshipping these guys daily.
That's why you see religion, tribe and politics so powerful in Nigeria.
I have said this repeatedly, not every Nigerian should vote, because I repeat majority can't make good decisions.
For example Just look at that one on top mentioning PDP, while we are debating national development, and funny enough in real life that's how you have many people on top in Nigeria without brains Leave them alone. People who are prone to derailing sensitive topics into party supremacy are just senseless. Even Adolf Hitler the mass murderer had supporters and still has. |

By the way, there are no government owned companies in California. The economy of California is purely private sector driven, dominated by tech firms. Refineries around the world are largely public sector owed. |
