Politics › Re: The Politics Of Majority And Minority Cultures In Nigeria by CodeTemplar: 1:39pm On Jun 02, 2018 |
The politics of majority and minority does start n end with hausas, yorubas n igbos as majority groups. A man with a arabic or islamic name goes through same discrimination among the urhobos just like a christian in zamfara goes through rough handling from muslims there. The urge to identify with and regroup into stronger clique in Africa goes beyond politics. It is a complex thing. |

delpee: Hmm! The state should have a law banning the receipts of funds derived from Haram items like beer then.
What is the point of destroying beer bottles and arresting bar owners when the economy of the state partially depends on Federal allocation which includes VAT from the "illegal" items? You guys are only seeing the financial immorality of this, but it goes beyond that. Who is a muslim? If I claim to be a christian in the morning and do a crime then start professing Islam after the crime and get caught, will I be under the sharia law jurisdiction? |

saaron: It's ironic that terrorist who opposed Otom's "Anti Open Grazing Law" see nothing wrong with setting up Sharia police to destroy non Muslim's hard earned businesses. God bless you. The double contradicting standard is obvious. |
Politics › Re: Zamfara Governor, Yari, Gives Hisbah Commission Power To Arrest, Interrogate by CodeTemplar(op): 12:49pm On Jun 02, 2018 |
saaron: The notion that Sharia only applies to Muslims is a LIE. Christians in the north are being harassed daily by these sharia fanatics. Thank you. |
Politics › Re: Zamfara Governor, Yari, Gives Hisbah Commission Power To Arrest, Interrogate by CodeTemplar(op): 12:47pm On Jun 02, 2018 |
saaron: Southern Nigeria will remain eternal idiots if they do not set up their own state police outfits and deal with issues peculiar to states. Northern hisbah boards is nothing but "State Police" in disguise and they get federal allocation to maintain them. For how long will other parts of the country remain blind to this double standard? Thank you? This sharia thing is injustice as anybody can claim not be a muslim after committing offense and wouldn't be breaking the law. |

Politics › Zamfara Governor, Yari, Gives Hisbah Commission Power To Arrest, Interrogate by CodeTemplar(op): 1:25am On Jun 02, 2018 |
Governor Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari of Zamfara State has signed a bill conferring more powers to the state Hizbah commission to arrest, interrogate and search residences or items where they suspect anti-Sharia activities or substances banned by Sharia are being kept. Yari, who signed the bill yesterday at the Government House Chamber, Gusau, Zamfara State, shortly after addressing thousands of the citizens who converged at the state trade fair, Gusau, to celebrate this year’s Democracy Day, said: ‘’In our determination to strengthen Sharia implementation across the state, I would like to use this opportunity to announce that immediately after this address, I will sign a bill that will give Hisbah Commission the power to arrest, interrogate and search residences or items where they suspect anti-Sharia activities or substances banned by Sharia are being kept.” He then thanked members of the state House of Assembly for passing the important Sharia-related bill, which will help in further consolidating the position of the state in the implementation of Sharia. Yari, who stated that his administration had never declined to sustain all the Sharia machineries and legal documents he inherited from the previous administrations, said his administration had extended investment to the custodian of the norms and values by undertaking the construction of a befitting modern Emir’s palace at Gusau Emirate Council. https://m.guardian.ng/news/zamfara-governor-yari-gives-hisbah-commission-power-to-arrest-interrogate/ |

ClassicMcGee: To go really deep into java and be a worldclass developer: a very good understanding of algorithms, data structures and some adv maths(probably will be taught in school)... I'm just trying to lay a good foundation before then. Is Java programming part of your course schedule? If yes then learning it will aid those things you mentioned. |

ClassicMcGee: Thanks a lot sir! You just saved me a lot of stress... i really appreciate!
I'm still in the dilenma: PYTHON VS JAVA... I an not a pythonista but I may drop one or tips then I recommend just any language if as you stated earlier harming yourself with a programming lang for implementations of ideas and school work is your goal. The most important thing you need is to have basic programming ideas like variables, constants, selection(if, if...else, and switch), then also looping(for, while, do...while). To me java is a deep language that is worth putting years into. If done properly it will position you for web programming, mobile programming, desktop, enterprise programming etc plus it can help start writimg apps in good time. To me java is in top 2 language. It is always java vs [another language] considering comparison of general purpose languages. |
