heard i could build an app with HTML5 and deplny to mobile using ionic, how true is that?
There are platforms that do that but i haven't explored any.
It is possible but have it in your mind that most frameworks are built upon languages so if iconic isn't built upon your language of choice you may have to learn another language and that exposes you to learning multiple language same time. It can be distracting.

This is true and highly commendable. If you go to most of public schools in Lagos , you will agree with me that education sector is given a priority in the state.
In terms of quality education, South West is always the pacesetter
I know people will erroneously label me a hater for this, but the Lagos state model for education funding is flawed. If Ambode should keep up with the borrowing pace in Lagos and continue funding education it will end up eating into the states main budget. What every state needs is a good IGR mechanism that can sustain recurrent expenses.

Ha ha ha. . . .
Transmission has truly gone viral but this shouldn't blind us from the underground challenges like insecurity and insurbodination.
The IGP who popularized transmission has disobeyed the President's order to relocate to a particular location.

You ar talking in an ideal situation. Go and find out how much was budgeted and ridiculously looted in the name of upgrading those schools. You will be shocked those schools consume more funds on paper than their private counterparts.
They can also charge to make the schools better. For example a medium private school with 30k fee per term, the state government can comfortably provide at least 50% subsidy especially factoring out teachers' r enumeration which the government already sponsor. Of it ensures proper management in such a way that the public schools compete with the private in whatever way, people will immediately transfer their kids.
There is a similar story in Kenya (or Uganda) I think where public schools are turning out to be better than private schools and it didn't take too much funds like you are insinuating.
Please let's stop finding excuse for our failure.
You can say it isn't expensive but education isn't as cheap as you make it sounds also. I acknowledge the mismanagement part also but believe me, if govt tries to subsidize it to the level the average man can afford it, then they may end up reducing the number of slots available for prospective students.
How many salary earning parents can afford N30k per term for 2 kids (N180K) every year? What about taxpaying artisans who survive on less than $100/month ?

This is another reason the church owned schools are under pressure to reduce cost.
The poor pay out tax to govt and tithes to churches but have lost hope in govt and therefore rest their hope on the church.
One thing I know is that, education isn't cheap anywhere and even if the govt provides all the ingredient for a standard system, it cannot sustain it.
Good infrastructure goes beyond initial capital and involves recurrent cost. Recurrent expenses requires more than intervention most govt bring to the table. Take Kaduna or Osun state for example after employing huge staff or building new schools where will the funds to maintains those structure and pay staffs come from ?
What each state needs most is a good IGR mechanism. You can't make economic projections on unstable income like oil income.

The gang leaders said he knew nothing about robbery. What would a Senate President want with a robbery with hundreds of millions they allocate to themselves?
Why will ordinary robbers after money waste so many lives? The thing looks like a typical big man sacrifice. Oga sends his hidden thugs to waylay his errand boy with cash with one strange condition: after collecting the money they still shoot at the errand boy. Why?
