GEJ made plans to purchase about 25-40...

The sleeping one stole the mandate and twarted the purchase because he doesn't want it used to kill his foot soldiers.
The only thing GEJ made interest in was super tucano which wasn't successful

The whole story of jf 17 was in this administration

Our fleet is made up of mostly 1st and 2nd generation aircrafts. The only few here that are close to 3rd generations are the JF-17 and the Tucano. Next time, our govt should save money to buy the Russian made Sukhoi SU-25, SU-27 and other variants of it that we probably would be able to afford. Russian planes are miles cheaper than the ones from the west.
Stop advertising ur ignorance..
Jf 17 and super tucano are 4th gen aircraft..
There are no 1st gen aircraft in the air force...they are all retired...
Alpha jet and the F -7 are 3rd gen

you are saying this from which economic concept??
what is the federal government doing with the money they get from the sales of crude oil?? does it mean if the federal stop getting money from the crude oil that the nigeria cannot survive on its own and the federal government cannot develop their economy. if the money from crude oil were collected by the state government do you know how developed the state would have been developed. building refinery wouldn't be an issue and do you even know all the constituents of crude oil??
The bolded shows...how ignorant u are...

Do u know how much akwa ibom has gotten from it oil...what have dey achieved with it... Buying planes for the rich to fly, building world class hotel in ikot ekpene and uyo for the rich...
Building a stadium that adds no value to the state..
Building a church and an international airport terminal.. Is DAT d economic development ur talking about..

Do u know akwa ibom makes more oil money than rivers state...
but can u compare the two..

Akwa ibom earns nothing less Dan N350bn from oil annually.. Can dey give account of it..
If any state can build it own refinery it akwa ibom..but what stopped them??
What about delta and bayelsa...
I don't even have time to start preaching the extreme corruption under NDDC...

Nigeria will not survive on it own if FG stops getting money from crude..DAT because it all we export...
D money we make is what funds our yearly budget to an extent..
But it is enough anymore..
And when it was enough..some useless administration misused it..

If ur talking about constituent of crude oil
It carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen

It ur meant to say fractions of crude oil
Here u go

Kerosene
Lubricating oil
Gasoline
Diesel
Lubricating oil
Naphtha
Bitumen
Cooking gas. (Propane and butane)

Can land not be resold , if the locals request you to relocate your mosque for peace to reign, is Islam not a religion of peace again.

If Islam is a religion of peace, why are Muslims finding it difficult to maintain peace in their land in the North and in other lands in the east they attach themselves
What war?..
Was there war in the locality he established the mosque?...

The locals never asked him to leave but IPOB..
for no logical reason than hatred for the religion...is it the mosque that kidnapped MNK or what?...
So he doesn't have right to build what he wants and practice the religion he wants in his own land..or does he force any Igbo to become Muslim?

When Yar adua denied Dangote the privileges of taking over our local refinery and continued to pay heavy subsidies for fuel..Nigerians loved him cuz fuel was cheap and the oil money was still plenty..they didn't know that single decision to keep the refinery moribund will hurt us today.. now every body is at the mercy of Dangote to finish his own....

Yar adua allowed Dangote to buy and repair the refinery.. By now..our economy won't suffer this much...

Buhari is the father of poverty, I've been saying that for a while now. You can argue & say oil prices are determined by the global market, if you do that, you would also have to tell me if inflation & breakdown of everything are sold on a global market. Now, it's obvious that Buhari only wanted to be Nigeria's president only for the title, he clearly had no vision for the country the 4 times he ran. As terrible as Goodluck Jonathan performed as president, Buhari has even outperformed him(Goodluck) in terrible performance.
The same goodluck DAT couldn't maintain the refinery or delivery infrastructure even with the relatively good oil prices and production rate...

The reason why we r in this mess is because previous government allowed the local refinery to fail...it is the same buhari that began support modular refinery to come up ..began rehabilitating portharcourt refinery..and supported Dangote massively to start his refinery ...

If goodluck did all this ..won't be have a functioning refinery to alleviate this mess by now?..
All what Bubu did for the petroleum sector...the product will only be witness during the next administration... The same way..we witness the product of the failure and neglect of this sector in his tenure by past administration

why won't it skyrocket. how are jet fuel produced? are they not produced from crude oil?[s] have nigerian government allowed the owners of crude oil to control this their natural resource and create industry and refineries to produce the finish goods. isn't the northerners and south westerners also fighting for this same oil instead of focusing on their region and their own resources?[/s]
This is economics not politics... Leave all this resource control, Hausa fulani out of it...

Even if each region control their oil and own refinery

Many of u shouting buhari but praise US for their sanctions are completely daft and stupid...

The rise is in aviation fuel is due to crude oil price rising and the artificial scarcity created by the US sanctions..

Buhari or NNPC don't have control over any petroleum product except Gasoline...

To bring down the price..
Dollar has to come down since we import it and dangote refinery has to start working to save shipping cost..
Even at this ..the product must still sell at international price except u want government to subsidize the product too

Dangote is a bloody capitalist! Even when the refinary starts working, the only thing we may enjoy is steady flow of products but I bet u, we won't enjoy any price decrease. Checkout cement where he holds sway undecided. Imagine if the buhari government had built a good refinary, we could even sell our fuel for 10naira per litre since it's our crude and we won't be importing. But this useless government and the ones before it did nothing! Imagine the money we would be making now that the price of crude is very high?
The refinery is built to make profit..therefore it becomes a business....it doesn't matter weather it government that builds and own it or a private entity...

If we assume govt..builds one...the refinery will operate like every standard company and buy crude at the standard international price but it will be in naira instead of dollars..refine it and sell it back to Nigeria at the standard international price in naira as well..
Government makes profit from the company and use part of it maintain the facilities and keep them from become rotten like what we have today..

What ur saying is what NNPC used to practice with our refinery when they were first commissioned... Ask urself..how are dey doing now..

The funny part is DAT Dangote wanted to buy portharcourt refinery from government and probably all the Nigerian refinery , repair them at his own cost and run it the proper way but stupid and dumb ass Yar adua refused..
D same slowpoke continued subsidizing petroleum products to the point that it even went cheaper during his time..and Nigerians loved him for DAT..

This is the exactly the mentality that killed our refinery "cheap fuel"..

U need to understand that no crude oil producer is entitled to cheap fuel...
The local refineries will buy crude at the standard international price which is now over $110 for Brent crude...and u expect them to refine it and sell for N10?...
The answer is no
.they will sell at the standard rate as well...
That y when crude oil price drops...NNPC smiles abit as the cost of subsidizing due reduces and vice versa..

The only advantage of refining locally is dat u don't spend anything to import fuel which is what weakened the value of naira...

If we had been producing fuel and other petroleum products ever since and there was nothing like fuel subsidies..
Am 100% sure dollar to naira will not be more than N160 or maximum N200 today...
Now the standard rate for gasoline is around $1 for a litre..

U want to tell me it will be expensive to buy a litre for N200...and have the fuel available...
Should I also remind u that if a dollar is N200..
A lot of things we buy today will be nearly half the price?..compare to now that it is over N550 for a dollar..

Nigerians don't just have sense...
We believe it government.. But obvious if we d youths get to that seat we will think the same way...
The problem of weakened naira..exorbitant dollar rate and fuel scarcity is the fault of the leaders of Nigeria from IBB down to GEJ...

I will not blaim bubu...cuz under his unfortunate tenure...he allocated huge forex to enable dangote start his refinery
